Sam's video: I Destroyed His NEW Room!
Colby's POV:
I glanced over to Juliet's side of the bed to find her gone. I got up and went to look for her.
She was crouched in front of the toilet, holding her head.
"Hey, Jules. How are you feeling?"
She let out a small groan. "I hate this nausea. Being pregnant sucks."
"You need me to get you anything?"
"Can you make this nausea go away?"
"I wish I could, but I don't have that ability."
"Yeah, it was just a hopeful thought. Can you get me peppermint tea?"
"Absolutely. Hang in there, babe, okay?"
She nodded and before I left, I tied up her hair so she wouldn't get anything on it.
I went downstairs and made her tea.
When I got back up to our room, she'd buried herself under the covers.
"Hey. Got your tea. I'll leave it on the coaster, okay?"
"Okay," her quiet voice sounded.
About ten minutes later, Sam poked his head in and said, "Come outside with me. I've got to show you guys something."
Jules stood, still holding her tea. "Is it a good something or a bad something?"
"You'll just have to find out. Come on."
We followed Sam outside. Jake and Corey were already outside.
"Are you guys ready to see your new backyard. Completely changed our entire backyard."
We started jokingly pointing to things that were already there and Sam said, "I meant the God dang basketball court, jeez."
Jules tilted her head. "Well, why didn't you just say so?"
"You even made the pool green," Jake said, pointing to it.
"Yeah," Sam agreed jokingly, leading us to the basketball court. "All right, boys, girl, come check out Mount Trap House."
In sync, Jake, Jules and I said, "Whoaaaa."
One of us, not sure who, whistled, and Corey pointed to the mural. "The ghost. Bro, the ghost."
Jules knelt next to the mural. "Hi, ghosty." She stood and rejoined us.
"Oh, yeah," Sam agreed. "This is our new basketball court."
I found myself. "That's me."
"Damn, Colby, you do look good," Corey said.
"I look real good."
"You've never looked that good, Colby."
Jules frowned. "Uh, I would beg to differ."
"Well, you're married to him, so you have to say that."
"I mean, you're not wrong, but first of all, why would I say anything negative about his appearance anyway? That's rude."
"Wait, wait, wait, who's that guy?" Jake asked, pointing.
"That's Phil," Sam told us. "This is our new roommate, Phil..."
Corey laughed. "He lives in the dog."
"He's been living behind the dog in that little black cabinet over there."
"Phil is joining Fam Five," Jake said.
We cheered and Corey noticed the palm trees.
We posed in front of our pictures and Sam said, "Welcome to Mount Trap House."
Jules smiled, looking at the mural. "This is so freaking cool. Nice job, Phil."
"Thanks," Phil replied.
I followed Jules back inside. "How are you feeling?"
She glanced at me. "Better. The tea helped. Thanks."
"Anytime, Jules."
Sam told us about a prank on Corey. He told us we were going to be putting blue ink on Corey's new designer pillows.
Jake wasn't sure if he was for it, but Jules definitely was. She had an excited look on her face that slightly concerned me. She always got to excited with devious pranks.
We doused Corey's stuff with the blue ink and shortly, Corey started banging on his door. Sam held it while Jake, Jules and I dosed Corey's stuff with the ink.
We got it on the pillows and Sam, in a nervous tone, said, "Corey."
Corey opened his door. "What...?
"I'd... like to have you check out your new bed."
As Corey walked in, he asked, "What the fuck?"
"Welcome to the mega prank wars!"
"Oh!" We cried.
"Do you know how much that fucking pillow cost?" Corey questioned.
Sam put more ink on the blanket.
"Did you say mega prank war? Are you gonna buy me new pillows and blankets?"
Jake got it on his arm and Sam said, "Bro, we gotta wash that off."
Jake, Jules and I kept saying it was Sam's idea.
Corey picked up a bottle. "Disappearing ink?!"
He started chasing Sam and I pulled Jules out of the way.
Sam opened the door. "Hey, we should leave."
"Hey, Sam, you're fucked. And not in the good way."
Jules saluted him. "Enjoy your new bed, Corey!" She jogged out of the room and burst into laughter. "Oh, that was good!"
After calming herself down, she stared at Jake. I knew she still had to get him back, and I was honestly worried about what she might do. She was notorious for mean pranks or pranks that scared us in the old trap house, and I guessed she'd pull something of the sort in the new trap house. It was only a matter of time.
"What prank are you thinking?" I asked.
She shook her head. "I'm not sure yet, but I want to scare Jake's socks off. I'll think of one. Believe me. It may take a lot of time, or a little, but that son of a gun is gonna pay."
