Juliet's POV:
I shifted slightly, somewhat uncomfortably, and Colby glanced at me. "Babe, are you okay?"
I nodded. "Yeah, I am. Just a bit uncomfortable. Um, if you'll excuse me, I have a video to record."
I stood and grabbed my camera. I turned it on and started recording. "Hello, world of YouTube, and welcome to yet another q&a. I know how much you guys love these, and you all know I love answering your questions."
After scrolling through questions a moment, I began reading them. "Our first question is, "When is yours and Colby's baby due?" Our baby is due in April. Second question. "What was your reaction to the Sam and Colby scuba diving video, when Colby ran out of air?""
I glanced at my husband. "I was terrified that I'd lose him. I'm so grateful for the quick actions of Sam and the instructor. Um, third question. "Do you have a name for yours and Colby's daughter?" Yes we do, but we're not revealing her name."
Colby gave me a smile and I returned it before reading my next chosen question. ""Have you heard NF's new songs? And if you have, what do you think of them?" Of course I have, and I'm excited for the album. Or, rather, the mixtape. Our next question reads, "What do you think of Sam and Colby's 25x25 videos/challenges?" I think it's a great idea and I love it. Sam and Colby are so passionate about it, and it's wonderful to see. And seeing Colby so excited warms my heart."
I scrolled to another question and frowned. "Well now we're getting serious. "How are you doing with the pandemic going around?" I'm doing okay. Sometimes it's hard, but it's hard for everyone. Friends, family, and the love of my life help a lot. And the joy of a baby soon to come as well. Our next question is, "What's your current favorite show, not including Supernatural?" Way to make it difficult. Um, probably The Umbrella Academy."
"She watches that, Supernatural, and another new show constantly," Colby said. "She knows the soundtrack to that show like the back of her hand and constantly plays it, whether on piano and/or guitar or the soundtrack."
"Oh, please, You sing it along with me."
Colby nodded slowly. "Yeah. Way to expose me like that, babe."
I kissed his cheek. "You're cute when you're mockingly offended. Now shoo. This is my video."
He kissed me and smiled before stepping away from the camera.
I turned back to the camera. "Speaking of that new show, our next question reads, "Have you watched Julie and the Phantoms?" Yes I have, numerous times and oh my gosh, I love it. I don't think I've ever related to a musical song more than Unsaid Emily. Losing my mom was hard, so I really related to what Luke was going through. And that brings us to our penultimate question. "Would you ever consider writing a song? Maybe about your mom or your relationship with Colby?"" I glanced at my husband and smiled. "There's a little surprise therein itself. I'm actually working on a couple songs regarding them."
Colby grinned. "I can't wait to see the finished product. I'm not sure if I'll get in trouble for saying this, but she's channeling Unsaid Emily vibes for her mom's song. She keeps listening to the instrumental and humming a long. Even caught her crying a few times."
"Hey, Colbs, I love you, but I'm trying to get through this video."
He nodded and stepped back. "Sorry, Jules."
I turned back to the camera and said, "Well, ladies and gentlemen, we've reached our final question. "Have you watched Jared Padalecki's new show? Or if you haven't, would you consider watching it?"" I nodded. "I have watched it, and I've enjoyed it so far. To me, as with most, if not everyone, he'll always be Sam Winchester, but it's nice to see him in a new role. And I love seeing him interact with his wife on the screen."
I clapped my hands together. "That's it, folks. You know the drill. If you enjoyed, I'll be back next week with more cringeworthy content."
I stood and turned off the camera before grabbing my computer to start editing.
Colby left for a few minutes and came back with a fluffernutter and peppermint tea, much to my delight.
He sat next to me and rested a gentle hand on my baby bump, then ran a hand through my hair as I edited my video.
By the time I finished, I was falling asleep. Being pregnant certainly was talking a lot out of me, but that never dulled, and would never dull my love for Ellen.
Colby scooped me into his arms and laid me down on the bed we were sharing.
He stroked my hair back and kissed my forehead. "I'll join you soon, sweetheart."
"Mmkay," I said softly as my breaths evened and I fell asleep, quickly feeling myself relax.
