Chapter 45

Hide and Seek in abandoned YMCA (June 10, 2018)

Juliet's POV:

Colby somehow convinced me to go to the abandoned YMCA. It's not necessarily scary, which is good.

I was insistent on waiting outside with the others. Corey went back to the car, along with another guy.

The boys grabbed us and did their intro and said we'd be going in pairs to hide. Tavan kept making a point about how he was the only black guy.

We'd have three minutes to hide somewhere in the pool area.

I decided to hide on my own. Colby wouldn't be pleased.

Tavan and Joey saw me and pulled me in to hide with them.

Colby's POV:

A couple fans came up to us and scared us. Sam asked if anyone would hide in the basement and asked if I wanted to go down, but I said no.

We found Kat and Xephyr in the bathroom stall. They apparently couldn't find anywhere to hide. The fact that Jules wasn't here honestly didn't surprise me. She tends to be really good at hiding.

We walked into the pool and I noticed our XPLR sticker was down. I walked up the stairs to find a closet door and opened it to see Jake and Aaron.

Sam and I walked a little further to the sauna to see Tavan, Joey, and Jules walking towards us.

Sam said that they won, meaning they'd get dinner.

Jake gave me crap about posting on my snapchat, to which I apologized for.

I asked Sam when we were going on tour, and moments later, said, "Soon, bitch."

I gave Tavan some crap about someone following him.

We heard some sounds upstairs and rushed to get out. Sam was the first to try and get out, and nearly cut himself on loose glass.

When we left, a homeless guy met up with us outside and told us there were about five of them sleeping, and we'd disturbed them.

Jules pouted and said, "We're sorry, sir."

Sam and I filmed our outro and got Jules, Tavan, and Joey dinner. I insisted on paying for Jules.

She looked up at me and said, "What would you have done had we been caught?"

"Probably shit my pants and run out of there as quickly as I could, and--."

"So you'd leave me. Glad you have your priorities straight."

"Babe, I didn't finish. I'd grab your hand and make sure you were behind me and safe."

Joey said, "You're lucky we grabbed you, Juliet. She was planning on hiding by herself, Colby."

I frowned at my girlfriend. "Course you were. Why, babe? Pairs are safer."

"I do better hiding by myself."

"You were still found last, and you still get a free dinner."
