Sam and Colby: The most horrifying night we've ever experienced.
We were outside at 2 A.M. with sage. Colby saged us.
Jake saged his back and handed the sage back to Colby.
Sam asked Corey, "What are we about to do?"
Corey said, "We're about to play the ouija board to summon the Shadow Man, the spirit that's been following me around my entire life."
We walked back inside and Corey prepared to set up the ouija board in the basement.
Colby asked if Sam wanted to use the light.
Sam said they could use the almost dead mic and the camera light, as had to do the séance now.
Colby pulled out candles and black crystals. He also pulled out the tooth from the Biltmore earlier in the trip. "I also brought this."
"No you didn't!" Sam cried.
I grimaced. "Connection or not, that's disgusting."
Colby put salt around the table and after a moment, Corey sighed. "Well, guys, this is me about to open up the ouija board after ten years."
"Ten years?" Jake repeated.
He opened it to reveal a white ouija board.
"Are you ready?" Colby asked.
Corey picked up the planchet and he was surprised he was ready.
Sam reassured that over the course of two years, he'd been readying for this moment.
I tucked my hands in my lap.
Sam told the viewers we'd take this incredibly seriously.
As Corey tried channeling the energy, there was a noise. He thought he'd communicated with the spirit haunting him.
Corey tried channeling the energy again and after a few moments, Colby asked if he was ready.
Corey placed two fingers on the planchet, as did the other three boys. He glanced at me and I shook my head. He nodded, understanding I didn't want to touch the board.
They circled it three times and Corey said, "If there's anyone here with us and you want to communicate with us, please say yes or no."
The planchet slowly started moving to yes.
Jake said his arm was about to break and once it reached yes, he took his fingers off, as did Colby.
Sam and Jake explained that the ouija board was 50% spirit, 50% user.
They put their hands back and the ouija board started spelling letters. G X D. Jake removed his hand again and put his hand back on.
The planchet was moving without them asking a question.
Corey was hyperventilating and Colby felt his heart. It was beating fast apparently.
They put their hands back and Corey asked for the spirit to spell its name and it said no.
Jake wondered if the spirit couldn't spell it's name.
Corey asked, "Have we ever seen you before?"
"Or talked to or contacted?" Sam added.
The planchet moved to no.
Jake said in a slight joking manner, "You've probably never seen him 'cause it's a shadow."
"Is this the first time you're talking to us?" Corey questioned.
The planchet moved to no again.
"It doesn't make any sense. Like we've seen it but haven't talked to it before?" Sam said. "If we're talking to anything, do you want to talk to the entire group."
The planchet spelled something. T E L L
"Tell what?" Corey asked.
C O R E
They removed their hands and put them back on quickly and spun it three times to say goodbye.
Corey got up, hyperventilating.
Sam reminded Corey that the spirit just wanted to talk and the other guys told him not to be fearful.
Sam said we had an intention and that's what we came for.
"Do you want to talk to me?" Corey asked. "Do something if it's me you want to talk to on the ouija board. Blow out one of these candles." He sniffled. "Is it the Shadow Man?"
There was a noise and he asked, "You heard that?"
"Mm-hmm," Sam hummed.
"Okay, so it is the Shadow Man. If you can make a knock or a loud noise right now proving that it's you the Shadow Man, I'll go back and I'll try to talk to you on this board."
Nothing happened.
"Do something right now," Corey demanded.
There was a grinding sound and Corey said it sounded like a ouija board and Sam agreed.
The boys put their hands back on the planchet and Corey told the spirit to speak.
The board was stuck on the letter U.
Colby asked if they should end it and they did so.
Moments later, the little white Christmas tree shook.
Sam and Colby started investigating it, trying to figure it out and a clock started going off.
Jake didn't believe it was much of anything. I hadn't even touched the stupid board, and I was convinced it was something.
"Jake, we fucking told you!" Colby cried.
The light was turned on and they investigated a small TV, but found nothing. They blew out the candles .
We gathered outside and Sam had realized the mic wasn't working.
We determined the board had tried to spell GOD.
Colby asked if Jake believed and he sort of did, so my assumptions were wrong.
According to Corey, we'd made everything worse because of everything that happened.
Colby guessed we could have been talking to another spirit.
Corey wondered how it knew his name and Jake said, "It's been with you for all this time. Of course it knows you."
Colby suggested Corey send the Shadow Man into a portal.
Sam said we all knew we'd gotten contact and suggested sending it over.
Sam and Colby spoke by themselves and I followed them.
Colby admitted he was scared and noted that I'd been a little scared as well, despite me not touching the board.
Colby suggested we rejoin the others and try to have Corey pass on the spirit to the other side, since he was the only one that could do it.
In the end, the boys had a major freak out and abruptly ended the video, which I thought was a little rude. Though, I kept my opinions to myself as it wasn't my video or my haunting.
[Y'all get two chapters because Saturday... Well... You'll just have to see. 😏]
