Chapter 29

Juliet's POV: (her return January 13, 2018)

I turned on my camera and gave a big wave. "Hello, world of YouTube! I'm back! For those who sent words of encouragement, thank you so much! I'm doing much better, and I'm back, better than ever. Hopefully. Fall Out Boy released their new album, and I thought what better way to come back than to react to their new album?! Let's get started."

I pulled up my Spotify. "The first song listed is Young and Menace. Mind you, I haven't reacted to any songs from MANIA. I prefer reacting to songs as a whole. What? Albums as a whole. Okay. Clearly I'm incredibly out of practice, sync, whatever you want to call it."

I started the song and frowned slightly. "I'm not sure about this one. I think I'll need a few more listens. Don't hate on me, please. Champion is up next."

After the song finished, I nodded. "I like this one. The next title is kinda weird. Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea. Okay. I like this one. This might be my favorite. So far, of course. HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON'T. I like that title."

I listened to the song and said, "Okay, that one I think is my favorite. Could change, but so far, I like that one best. Next up is The Last of the Real Ones. Hmm. I like this one. Not as much as the last one, but I do like it. Wilson (Expensive Mistakes). Ha! Relatable. "I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color". Yeah, very, very true. I love wearing black. Church is up next. Huh. Kind of reminds me a little of Take Me to Church by Hozier. Personally, I'm not as keen on the message of the song, but it is good. Especially Patrick's soul voice."

I glanced at my Spotify and said, "Okay. We're coming up on the last few tracks. Let's see how it ends. Heaven's Gate. Mmm, it's okay. I like the soul voice. I'd still listen to the song, but it's not a favorite of mine. Sunshine Riptide. Featuring Burna Boy. I like that title."

I started dancing along with the song. "I feel like I should be at the beach while listening to this song. It's a good one. Nice job, Fall Out Boy. Lastly, we have Bishops Knife Trick. Let's see how this ends. Very nice. I like it. So, out of all these, my favorites are Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea and HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON'T. Show some support for the video if you enjoyed this. I edited my video and posted it. Almost instantly, the comments welcoming me back came flooding in and I hearted a few.

There was a knock on the door and I told the person to come in. Sam appeared and said, "I'm doing a house hide and seek and was wondering if you wanted to join. I know you're taking a break, and I thought I'd ask."

"I'm back. As of today. Sure. I'll be in a house hide and seek. You know I'm gonna win, right?"

"Awesome! You're cocky, which is never a good sign."

That evening, Sam gathered everyone together in the kitchen.

He told us we were playing hide and seek, though I already knew. Winner would get to tweet off Sam's account.

We could go anywhere, including the roof, and Sam looked at me when he said that. Using Sam's words, Jake told the new families to buy a lamp. Colby teased Sam for accidentally saying families.

Sam went outside and Jake pointed out that he barely knew the house since he'd moved in a couple days ago.

As soon as he went out, I shimmied myself under the lovesac in the garage. I heard the door open, but wasn't hearing Sam's voice, so it must have been someone else hiding. I heard a faint scream from inside, and knew it was Colby's.

Colby's POV:

Somehow, Sam had gravitated right towards me. We entered the garage and almost immediately saw Aaron. He was crouched, pretending we didn't see him. Sam then threw the Donald Trump mask at him, and he stood up.
