Colby's video: Welcome to the TRAP HOUSE

Colby's POV:

I got out my camera and started recording my first vlog in the new Trap House.

In a snooty voice, I said, "What's up, guys? It's Colby Brock and these are the trap boys and the trap girl and this is the trap house."

Jules looked at me weirdly. "I'm not sure how I feel about being call trap girl."

"Relax, babe. It's all for the video."

I showed a little of the backyard for the viewers to see.

Continuing in the snooty voice, Sam, Corey and I kept chanting, "It's a free country."

My voice took on its normal tone. "All right, so like I was saying, it's a free country and now we live in a place called the trap house which is in--" I pointed to Sam.

"Hawaiian civilization," Sam finished.

"Which is... A free country," Corey said.

"Do you know what you can do in free countries?" I asked. "You can do whatever you want. Because we're free."

"Actually, not right now... We're in quarantine," Jake reminded us.

I pointed that he was right and Sam cried, "It's not a free country!"

"It's not a free country!" Corey repeated.

Jules, in her emphasized Boston accent said the same thing.

"All right, well, let's just say the little paradise we live in that we call the trap house is a free country," I said. "And boys, Juliet..."

"Anything's legal in the trap house," Jake interrupted.

Jules chuckled lightly. "Sure, Jake."

As I unwrapped tape, I said, "So since it's a free country," I pointed to Corey and Jules, "don't say it."

Corey didn't but Jules cried, "We're in quarantine!"

I looked at Corey. "Thank you." I turned to Jules. "I told you not to say it."

She shrugged and smiled sweetly at me.

I continued. "Since it's a free country, I decided why not sail my pool and see if I can make it."

Jules moved next to me. "There's a high possibility I might've encouraged that idea."

"Like the Mayflower?" Jake asked.

"Like the Mayflower," I said. "And I'm Christopher Columbus."

Jules frowned. "Columbus was not a good dude. How 'bout James Cook or Ferdinand Magellan or some other explorer? And besides; Columbus didn't sail on the Mayflower. He sailed on the Santa Maria. He had two other ships; the Niña and the Pinta."

I shrugged and grabbed boxes. "All right, so I got some boxes here 'cause we've been moving..."

"Wait," Sam said, picking up one of the cardboard Colbys. "Sam and Colby are ready."

Jules picked one up as well. "So's Jolby."

Corey stood on a rock and Jake tossed him one of the cardboard Colbys.

It landed in the water and its head fell off.

I tried to get it, but couldn't reach.

Jules, since she was wearing a bikini under her pool shirt, slid into the water and pulled out the Colby head. She gripped onto the wall and tried climbing out, but didn't quite make it.
