AJ was a fast reader, he had already read finished it before Meadow, even if she had started reading before him. It was simply something he had qualities to do. Reading was one of his favourite things after all and also learning new things and extraordinary facts. Meadow would always call him genius born under odd circumstances and she would always mock that AJ wasn't her brother. Well, let's just say that even if Meadow stated that she and AJ weren't twins, she wouldn't be believed. The two of them are practically identical and you can hardly tell them apart. If Meadow had her hair short like AJ, instead of having her hair down to the shoulders, then they would look just the same. Thick brown hair that often got lighter during summer, had they inherited from their parents. Meadow and AJ got their mothers waves but at certain times their hair could change radically and turn into a curly wonder due to their father's hair. The twins have originally blue eyes but with spots and splashes of green and brown almost making their eyes look like the forest itself. A forest with healthy growing trees with green crowns, a beaming waterfall and a night sky with thousands of stars.

Their hair was one slight difference in them and also their eyes was kind of one sort to tell them apart. AJ would have more green in his left eye while Meadow would have more blue on that very spot. This was something you would barely see and only if you knew the twins well then you would see the difference.

"Merlin, we are really going to Hogwarts. I hope we end up in the same houses though", Meadow said after she had finished reading the letter and she was now up on her feet, getting herself a glass of water and then she started pacing back and forth and forth and back. AJ could only imagine if that happened. If the sorting hat would split them apart. That would be his worst fear of everything. Not having Meadow around that can only be described as his supporting structure. AJ had shown his sister some books that were laying up in the attic one day and in these books, everything was written about Hogwarts, the sorting hat and the four houses.

Hufflepuff the kind, loyal and hardworking that would always be the one to save the day when somebody needed a shoulder to cry on. Hufflepuffs would also remain calm in the hardest times. AJ had admired every Hufflepuff and he is probably going to do the same when he comes to school. Kind and loyal people are the ones who restore peace in the world.

Slytherin the ambitious and leader material that would always be the one who would get up on their feet and lead the rest when everyone would give up. Well, at least this is written in the books but AJ knows well to not trust everything written among the pages. Slytherin is also described as self-preservation but this is something that AJ thought was foolish to write about one specific house. Everyone is a little self-preservation, rather they like it or not.

Gryffindor the brave and daring that would always be the one to fight off trouble even it might seem scary and terrifying. Meadow admired the brave-hearted and since she was one herself. Fear would knock on the door now and then but it didn't stop Meadow from knocking the door shut.

Ravenclaw the intelligent, creative and curiosity and this house would probably be the one who suited AJ the most thought Meadow. The house descriptions practically are AJ as a person.

Although the houses were stereotyped to a certain amount of people it might be that some of the descriptions could be correct but they are also somewhat wrong. Gryffindor couldn't be the only brave one and Slytherin can't be the only one who seeks ambition. Hufflepuffs aren't the only kind ones and Ravenclaw can't necessarily be the only smart heads. Every person can be one of these things and which house you are in, shouldn't describe what kind of person you are.

"So is it okay with you if we go, since I really want to and the same thing goes for Meadow. We would follow our dads' magical footsteps.", AJ told after coming back from his mind rushing with information. Skyler was a little hesitant and she wasn't sure if it was a good idea. She glanced at her children in wonder and she saw how much they were glowing happiness only because they would go to Hogwarts. Blimey, she hasn't seen her kids this happy for a while. She couldn't refuse them something they wanted even if it might hurt her feelings not having them around all the time but how could she even say no. They would be so happy and their happiness is the most important thing in the whole damn universe.

"Yes if it makes you two happy then I'm happy. I'm going to be alright without you two so don't worry about me not having company. I always have Jayden and Annabelle to keep me company although things are complicated with the two of them at the moment. I also have Stormy that is probably going to ask me to babysit Ardale now and then. So, don't worry kiddos I will be fine and happy as long you two are smiling.", Their mother stated and it almost brought tears to Meadow's eyes. She quickly started taking the dishes for some sort of distraction. When she turned around she found AJ hugging their mom while he was crying in both sadness and joy.
She joined in the hug and she couldn't ask for anything better for her birthday present....wait...in the letter it said that the school starts on September the first. That is tomorrow.

"Uhm are we going to school tomorrow, on our birthday?", Meadow asked in a rush and AJ wiped away the remaining tears and sobbed a little.

"No not tomorrow, you have to have filled eleven before you are going to Hogwarts so that means we have to wait a year", AJ replied after he had gotten himself somewhat together. It's obvious which of them is the brain of the two.

"Oh okay then we have plenty of time to prepare us before the school starts", Meadow muttered almost like she was planning something. Skyler had realised what Meadow was thinking and it didn't surprise her.

"You two, do still have to go to school this year", she announced and Meadow shrugged. Well, she liked school itself but she had struggles with other people. People who would be mean to AJ even if she thought they had learned a lesson after the last time they teased her brother.

"But, I don't like it at the Achilles school.", Meadow argued and AJ took her hand and then held it tightly. Their mom bent down next to them and she glanced up at Meadow.

"Meadow sweetheart, it's only for another year, okay, and remember one of the family rules. When you really feel like not going to school one day, then you can always stay at home and watch cartoons", their mother said softly, trying to calm her daughter down. Staying home if she didn't want to school seemed like a great idea...on the outside and for most people. For Meadow, it was the worst idea ever because if she stayed home she couldn't keep an eye on AJ.

"You are right, sorry for being a little foolish", Meadow suddenly told and Skyler shook her head. Meadow wasn't foolish at all. She was rather brave always being there any time when her brother needed help and support. Meadow is always so kind and protective towards AJ and that is the only reason why she doesn't want to go to school. She is afraid of what might happen to her brother.

"You are not foolish my dearest, you are rather the most bravest person I know. The same thing goes for you as well AJ. Anyways I have already talked to the Principal about the situation and he is going to try his best to make this year the best of all times. After all, it is going to be your last year at that school and why not make it a year to remember", Skyler said softly like cotton. Their mom was right once again. It's going to be better at the school and the other students would stop being mean to AJ for having intelligence that those nut heads don't have.
