"Oh come on that's unfair Asher, you can't be that good", Oliver Wood complained as he landed on the ground. He was thinking about practising quidditch alone but when he saw Asher Lee Wellington and Cedric Diggory he joined in hope of learning the girls' tricks.

"Sorry but it's not my fault that you can't catch", Asher retorted and Cedric snickered next to her. Things had been really going well after Christmas and it proved to Cedric's parents that she could be trusted. Asher was excited for the summer vacation because it was a very good chance that she would attend her next year at Hogwarts, with parents back home.
Asher starred pasted the energetic Gryffindor and landed her eyes on a boy fumbling with his broom and he didn't look very happy. Seconds later he was standing next to them.

"AJ, what brings you here. I haven't seen you for a while", Cedric said casually which caused the first year Ravenclaw to shrug.

"Eh, I can't find any of my friends anywhere and I saw you guys here and I thought. Maybe you guys can learn me some stuff", AJ replied and Oliver Wood wouldn't stop staring at him for some reason.
"Uhm, you okay over there", he added as he faced Oliver and he didn't respond with some gesture or words.

"Nothing but you look oddly familiar but I can't place my tongue at it. Did some of your siblings play quidditch or something?" Oliver rambled and AJ turned to look at Asher because he had thought that everyone knew who his father was.

"My sibling didn't play quidditch and they don't even go to this school but my dad used to", AJ said bluntly.

"He's the son of Atticus Moonshard?", Oliver started when he remembered that Asher had told about the legendary quidditch player that has a legacy at the school this year.
"Damn it, I didn't think you would play quidditch since now my team is screwed", he complained because if AJ'S dad was fabulous in quidditch, how would his son do.

"I can totally agree with you on that because you know one person is coming back to the teams the upcoming year", Asher told enthusiastically. She missed playing against Rio because they were equally good but Rio may even be better than her.

"No...please don't tell me that they are back at the game", Oliver muttered flatly.

"Yeah, Rio is back on track, having their eyes on the house cup again", Cedric added smiling.
Oliver dropped his mouth and dragged a hand down his face, how would he even get his team to win when two players were better than the whole lot.

"You know just play you guys, uhm I'm gonna go and book the quidditch pith for the next few weeks", Oliver rambled and walked away huffing and waving around with his arms.

"Well that was something, anyways AJ what position do you wanna try out for next year", Asher asked switching the subject back where it started.

"I'm not sure, maybe a beater or a chaser", he replied and with that Asher started circling around him, as she stared him up and down, nodding at what she looked at.

"You do have the built for a beater I would say but it lays on if you are good at hitting the bludgers or not. Besides if you were going to end as a chaser you would have a brilliant tutor", she explained. Cedric nodded in agreement since it couldn't be a better chaser than his future sister.

"You would teach me?", AJ asked brightly like he was filled with all the happiness in the world.

"Yeah of course I can", she said with a smile on her lips.

As the evening swung by and showed its presence with the dark night sky and stars shinning abnormally brightly. Nyx had been sitting in his common room alone and whenever Tycho had joined him, Nyx skipped back up to his dormitory. For some reason, he couldn't manage to be around Tycho at the moment and it was the weirdest thing ever. He was his best friend but Nyx couldn't read him and that could mean two things. One possibility was that Nyx was losing his powers to read people by their emotions and the other one, he didn't want to think about.
Tycho had no clue what was going on with Nyx but was he angry at him for totally ignoring his guts? No...or yeah he wasn't at first but when Nyx got up and walked right pasted him, without even giving him a thought, he did feel slightly ignored. Eventually, Tycho just stopped trying to be around Nyx at the moment so he skipped out of his house to go on a quest to find his sister and annoy her instead since he hadn't talked to her for a while. Besides, he didn't know where AJ was or Meadow or even Rio for that sake.
