Chapter 22 ◇°▪We don't get it▪°◇

The days flew by quickly like a wind in the green tall trees. It started to get colder in the weather and you would notice that winter was around the corner with unwanted trouble. Slippy ice on the roads making it impossible to walk normally without facing the risk to crash to the ground. Snow falling and dancing around in the sky, pretty yes but is a troublesome thing. Snow is making hair wet, clothes soaked and people getting colds in two ways. Winter wasn't the favourite season for most but before winter arrived, you must go through the windy autumn.
Autumn where trees would get colourful leaves while they were waiting for the time to fall, exposing the tree they once were. A tree without leaves is just a tree without clothes and accessories. Autumn came with a swoosh of wind that became rather tiring. Hair would end up like a tangled mess, that would make students look just like a lucky troll.
Sometimes the wind would be frightening strong and students that didn't have much height would need to either crawl on the ground or piggyback on someone that was older. Unless they wanted to try and put up a fight with the wind and end up getting taken away.
The wind was one reason why Meadow would always be on Hyperions back when they were outside and playing games such as football.

Since Meadow wasn't the tallest around the block, her twin AJ, her best friend Rio, her two friends Nyx and Tycho would be at alert whenever the wind would be putting up for a fight. They would shield Meadow from the wind because they were afraid she would blow away. It wasn't that Meadow was that short she was only 6 centimetres shorter than AJ which was at a height of 1.50 centimetres Her twin and her friends didn't just shield her from the wind but they saw her height as an opportunity to joke around with her a bit. Meadow didn't mind the foolish jokes though.
Eventually, she would get taller at some point in life.

"I still don't get it, why do we have to learn about star charts and all that Astronomy stuff. I ain't planning on travelling to the moon", Nyx complained frustrated while he once again placed his quill into the ink bottle so hard that ink splashed the nearby papers.

"I still don't get why you bloody have to ruin my homework with that spillage of ink", snared Hyperion as they quickly removed their muggle studies homework away from Nyx and his ink. Rio decided to take Muggle studies and Care of Magical creatures as electives and it seemed like they enjoyed it much but normally they would ask Meadow and AJ for help when it came to Muggle studies. Rio didn't come from a muggle family so they didn't know what things such as electricity and power were. Tycho didn't exactly come from a muggle family either, since both his parents were wizards but they had a house full of muggle items like lights, a washing machine, stove and a refrigerator.
Nyx did know a lot about the non-magical world but each time someone would ask if he came from a pure-blood family or a muggle family he would just shrug and say that it didn't matter, something that was true.

"You know when I end up in my third year, I will take Muggle Studies as an elective as a shortcut because I already know all about it.", Meadow said brightly while she finally had finished her star chart where they needed to write what kind of star sign was drawn.

"Yeah, I may do that as well since why struggle to learn something new when we already know all about Muggle Studies", AJ agreed as he checked his sister's star chart, to check if she had gotten the same answers as him. He had already finished the chart a half-hour ago.

"While you two take the easy way I will take Arithmancy and Studies of Ancient runes and I'm pretty sure Tycho will do the same", Nyx told as he indicated that his good friend Tycho would take the same electives as him. Tycho had his head on his arms and he was asleep.

"We know some runes though as elder futhark and Viking runes", Meadow said as she softly shook Tycho's shoulder trying to wake the sleepyhead up.
Tycho was sitting on her left while Rio was on the right. On the other side of the table sat AJ and Nyx who had started a discussion over something.
The library was empty beside from the five of them and the librarian Madam Pince who usually would keep a close eye on them. Sometimes she would scoff and mumble something unpleasant under her breath for some reason. It didn't seem like she enjoyed their company much.
