Minutes went by with a million thought rushing down on the twins like a wave in the ocean. Meadow and AJ were now walking down the train aisle struggling to carry their suitcases and the owls. They didn't have any problem with how heavy the suitcases was but it was hard to carry them around since they were big and they only had two hands. It was rather frustrating when the suitcases would bump into a wall and awkward when one of them would open a door to a compartment that people was already settled in. After a long annoying search after an empty compartment, they finally found one in almost the very back. AJ took both his and Meadow's suitcases and placed them up on the compartment shelf.

Meadow dropped herself onto the seat before she groaned in exhaustion. She was tired since she hadn't slept at all yesterday because she was way thrilled for the journey to Hogwarts. AJ on the other hand seemed quite refreshed. He closed the compartment door and settled himself down to the opposite seat of his sister. Their owls had fallen asleep the second they were put down onto the floor.

"Which way does the train go?", asked Meadow to her brother who was searching his backpack after his drawing book. AJ was an artist, a really good one as well. He would sit hours with that book and he would draw whatever that came to mind. Meadow admired how talented her brother was. He was smart, creative and a quite polite person. She looked up to him and she would do anything for him.

"I'm not sure", muttered AJ who was looking for his pencils this time. Apparently, his pencil case had opened up in his backpack. AJ sighed when he fumbled after a pencil one by one. All of a sudden the train made an odd howl and it started moving. At that moment AJ stumbled backwards into the seat since he realised that the train was going backwards from his side.
Meadow tried her best to not laugh at her stumbling brother but she just couldn't hold it. AJ stared at her annoyed before he threw a pencil at her but to his surprise, she caught it right before impact. At least she stopped laughing thought AJ before he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Wanna switch seats", Meadow said as she moved the pencil between her fingers. AJ obviously got to his feet and Meadow did the same thing.

"I'm still taller than you, you know", AJ teased as he was going to take his sisters' seat slowly but instead of doing that Meadow had basically thrown him into it. This made him laugh and when AJ laughed she couldn't hold herself from laughing with him.

"Yes you are taller, smarter and more creative, I don't deny that", announced Meadow with a grin on her face. Ofcourse she had to admit that her brother was better in many things and it didn't bother her at all. Everyone has their weaknesses and strengths. Nobody can be good at everything.

"You know mom said no wolf powers,", he told after a while. His mom or their mom had strictly said that even if they are half werewolves and they are stronger and have faster reflexes, that can make things easier for them, they were not allowed to use them as a benefit or an upper hand. The twins were rather going to live a normal life without any usage of the abilities they had. Both AJ and Meadow had clearly understood why they weren't allowed to use them. If people figured out what they were...it could be a risk that they would hunt them down and eventually kill them. Being werewolves had both benefits and downsides such as werewolf hunters who would constantly be tracking you down.

"I know, sorry it was old habits", Meadow replied before she placed the pencil back into his pencil case. She stared at it for a while, thinking about something very interesting. AJ had realised what she was thinking about.

"No, I am not one hundred percent sure if I am allowed to bring my colouring pencils but since it's just us two and our owls that knows about me having them, it's not a big deal because none of us are going to say anything just in case we are breaking any rules, alright?", AJ added as he packed his things into his backpack. He wasn't in the mood for drawing at the moment but he sure was in the mood to either talk to Meadow until they reached Hogwarts or annoy her the whole way. Meh, option one sounded the best since Meadow could get rather grumpy if you annoyed her just at the right amount. A grumpy twin sister, that's something you don't want to have at all times.

"Which pencils are we talking about", declared Meadow with a smirk on her lips. AJ smiled at her knowing that she would never do anything to get him in trouble or take away something that meant a lot to him.

"So, I really can't believe that we are going to Hogwarts", he spoke with a gaze fasten down at the horizon. It was beautiful watching the whole world fly by and it looked so enchanted almost like a wonderland.

"Me either, I mean-", she started but she stopped mid-sentence. Meadow lingered on the idea of telling AJ about how unbelievable everything was at the moment but she didn't want to. It was truly unbelievable since none of them had any idea of them being people with magic running down their veins. They didn't know that they were a witch or a wizard. Apparently, their dad was one and that had been what Meadow seemed to be saying. You know talking about how they didn't know how he was like in person.
Meadow shrugged and she stood up, tried to take down her suitcase so she could take out Miss Fluffel, the yellow teddy bear. But her plans got disturbed when she couldn't reach up to it but AJ strode up to his feet and took it down for his twin.

"Is it fine with you if I sleep until we are there?", Meadow asked while she found herself comfortable on the compartment seat bench. AJ took out the blanket he had stored in his backpack, stood up and placed the blanket tightly around his sister.

"Sure thing twiny", AJ responded as he sat himself back to the seat. He didn't mind his sister sleeping since he practically knew that she hadn't slept yesterday. Meadow didn't need to say it for him to know when she was tired. He just felt it. He glanced at Meadow who yawned before she closed her eyes, on the doorway of the dream world.

As Meadow was fast asleep, AJ would have time to think over a million thoughts that had been lingering in his mind for a while. Thoughts like which house his sister would get in and if they would end up in the same house. Deep down he knew which house he would end up in and it scared him. More like terrified him. Sighing he got one of his fathers' journal out from his luggage. His dad had been a Hufflepuff and one of the greatest wizards Hogwarts had ever seen. He was a seeker at the quidditch team and he was at top of the classes. AJ wondered if he would be able to walk in his dad's footsteps. AJ promised himself to try his best to achieve the highest scores even if it wasn't the most important thing. The most important thing in his life right now was to look after his sister. To make sure that she was doing alright. That's simply one little thing he can do for her but it will never reach the number of things Meadow had done for him.

Meadow had always been there right at his side in the good and bad times. Times when he would get teased at school for being a rather smart person who enjoyed reading and learning new stuff. Gosh, his sister would practically scream at people if they even stared at him. Meadow would kick their butts if people would say something mean to him.
She was truly the best sister you could ever imagine and she has a heart made of pure gold. The kindness, all the kindness AJ had received from her was something he would forever remember. Sometimes or many times he would think that he didn't deserve to have somebody so nice and brave as a sister. Meadow is just the best in the whole universe.

AJ glanced down at the crooked handwriting that he was quite familiar with. His dad was writing about some kind of adventure he had in the forbidden forest. He had met centaurs that were kind at first but the centaurs ended up lowkey chasing him out of the forest when the sun went down. The centaurs didn't mind his presence but they didn't want him getting in trouble for being out past dormitory hours.
In a matter of fact, AJ's dad had befriended a ton of creatures in the forest even if it was strictly forbidden. His dad seemed to think that everyone in the world should be treated with equality and this was something AJ agreed to. No matter if you are a pig, a bug, a dog, a human or a witch/wizard you have the right to be treated with both fairness and kindness.
