Chapter 72 Returning home

"We made it guys, we have officially been students at Hogwarts for a whole year and I'm so proud that I managed to be friends with all of you. But now the summer is here and we wouldn't see each other every day and it is just sad. You know I'm probably going to tear up soon", Tycho said flatly as he softly formed a smile while he stared at his friends. He was sitting between Nyx and AJ, Hyperion and Meadow were sitting on the seat in front of him. Currently, they were on the Hogwarts Express that went back home to London. Nyx slightly shook his head and he reached after a tissue in his left jacket pocket and he tapped Tycho on the shoulder and handed it over.
Tycho smiled in joy and he gladly took the tissue and he was about to say thanks but he got distracted when a low knock was heard on the compartment door before it slid open revealing Esmeralda standing tall.
She stared at Hyperion who quickly took their legs down from the seat so Esme could take a seat which she did.

"Tycho are you crying? What's going on?", Esmeralda asked rather worried for her brother well being.

"Oh nothing, he's just sad that school is over and that we wouldn't see each other every day but me, Meadow and Nyx will come on visit whenever we can and Hyperion as well I think", AJ asseverated comfortably patting his buddy on the shoulder in hope to cheer him.

"About that, Hyperion where are you staying for the vacation?", questioned Esmeralda as she fixated her gaze at them.

"Mostly at Persephone's because you know I don't want to leave after everything she has been through", Hyperion replied flatly.

"She looks a lot better, how long has she stayed away from the bottle?", she added both curiosity and caring. Persephone had gotten a really bad problem with alcohol recently and it was many times where she showed up wasted to her lessons.

"Three months and counting. She's still going strong after what happened with Lydia...yeah...anyways where are you staying for the holidays since you wouldn't exactly be staying with your parents", they explained sighing. Hyperion seriously cared for Persephone and it was torture to see her hurt.

"I'm simply crashing over at Alyssa McKinnon's place for as long as I need. And yes we are still pretty close even if we haven't talked before recently. So Tycho no need to worry since I said that I would figure something out until I can afford my own place. Basically, I'm going to find a job and work the whole summer", Esmeralda announced lilting and Meadow got a pretty good idea.

"Are you good with kids?", Meadow suddenly blurted out since her idea just kept glowing in brilliance.

"Yeah, I would say that I'm excellent with kids. Like I used to babysit Tycho and Mika tons of times and that should probably say enough", she told with a tone of curiosity.

"You know my sibling needs a babysitter and they were going to leave me and AJ to watch over our cousin Ardale but we kind of have other plans. We can't ask mom to take Ardale because she is going to be at work in Edinburgh for most of the days...so Esme do you want me to ask if you can get the job. I promise you would be paid whatever number you would want", Meadow continued optimistically bright.

"It sounds great Meadow but I don't have a car, Alyssa lives an hour away from driving. I do in fact have my license which I got recently thanks to Fabian for that", stated Esmeralda flatly but neither AJ nor Meadow saw any problem at all.

"Number one, you can stay at our place if you want, we do have a spare bedroom", AJ told grinning.

"The second option you have is to borrow one of our cars, and Yeah I'm probably sounding like a snob but in our garage, we currently have three freshly repaired cars and five-ish that is still a working project but still. You have a licence and I don't think mom will be bothered if you borrow a car while you are babysitting her grandchild", his sister added joyfully.
