Chapter 41 Daimlo

The train ride was finally over and Meadow and Nyx had gotten closer friends during the forever lasting ride. AJ, Tycho and Rio didn't wake up before the train was only three hours from King cross so you could say that they had been wasting their time on sleeping. Both Nyx and Meadow had been awake the whole time and they had just talked about everything and everyone during their time.

As the group gathered their things, they hurried off the Hogwarts Express and Nyx had a rather confused look on his face when Tycho only was carrying the cage for Shira but the colourful parrot was nowhere to be seen. Alexis was a sleeping beauty and it didn't seem like she minded when AJ would accidentally bump into a wall or a person with the cage. Nikisha on the other hand wouldn't stop hooting and screeching. It didn't look like she liked being carried around.
Neither Rio nor Nyx owned an owl or any pet at all and Nyx didn't own a lot. He could fit all of his belongings in one suitcase and most of the stuff was school-related like books.

Meadow and AJ hurried away when they reached platform nine and three quarters but they made sure that the rest was close behind them. They had agreed with their mom to met her in the parking lot and that was because she didn't enjoy being in crowded areas. It took all of them a while, carrying their suitcases around because none of them found a trolley to help them out. Once they reached outside the station, Meadow saw a quite familiar figure standing patiently at the door and she dropped her suitcases and placed Nikisha softly back down and she ran over to the person. She jumped into their arms and her mom quickly caught her.

"I missed you too munchkin", Skyler said nearly on the edge of tears. It had been forever from the last time she had seen her two youngest children although they had written three letters to each other every week.
Meadow smiled before she jumped back down and AJ replaced her spot.
"And I have missed you too kido", she told ruffling his hair but something was different. She took a step back and stared her son up and down and she grinned.
"AJ look at that, you have gotten taller from the last time I saw you and Meadow well, one day you will be just as tall as me", their mom added and she looked behind her kids and saw three others.

Two boys, one with fluffy dark blonde hair with deep blue eyes and the other with light blonde hair with loads of curls and grey-tinted blue eyes.
Behind the two boys stood a person with short chocolate brown hair that was swept to one side.

"I suppose that's your wonderful friends", Skyler mentioned nodding towards the three and Meadow grinned.

"The tallest one over there is Tycho, the snow-white is Nyx and the side wave is Rio", Meadow introduced and AJ shrugged.

"She meant, in the middle is Tycho Achlys Laurier the funny one, to the left is Acheron Nyx Reaver the genius and to the right is Hyperion Noir Astarlinx the humble. Those are our best friends at school, me and the two boys are Ravenclaws and they are Slytherin but relax they could have been a Hufflepuff at the same time", AJ retorted and Meadow stuck out her tongue at him.

"Good day Miss Moonshard", Tycho told and Nyx pushed him a little in the side while Skyler cleared her throat.

"Good day to you as well Tycho but it's Miss Hale, Moonshard was the last name of the twins' father but it's okay, I don't mind. Anyways you guys can call me Skyler", she replied softly with a bright smile.

"It's splendid to meet you, Skyler, I have heard so many nice and wonderful things about you. Your twins speak highly of you and I think I have figured out why", Nyx asseverated as the gentleman he is.

"And, I'm thankful for you allowing me to stay over for the holidays", Rio added humming in tune.

"Well, every friend of Meadow and AJ are always welcome back home. Nevertheless, shall we get going. Food will probably be ready when we arrive and homemade pizza is on the menu and desserts on the end. To say it short Stormy wanted Pasta and baby Ardale only wanted desserts so it ended up as everything", Skyler told in a sweet tone.
"Wait here a bit so I can drive the car over here", she added and the twins nodded as usual in synch. Their mom waved goodbye and started sprinting away. A lot was different between Meadow and her mom and one thing was that her mom loved running while Meadow despised it.
