The twins hurried down from the corridor and they raced down the spiral stairs and Meadow won but she was pretty certain that AJ had let her win, just this once. It was getting suspiciously cold and winter came closer and closer and this was the worst season because neither of Meadow or AJ enjoyed the snow, slippery roads and the fridging snow. Snow was something they didn't like because it would always cause so much trouble, especially when it came to snow in the hair. Hair would be getting into a tangled knot almost impossible to solve. Clothes would get wet and cold which wasn't enjoyable, even for people that don't feel cold.
It took a while before they reached Hagrid's cabin that they were now standing outside from.
AJ smoothly knocked on the door and he was taken aback when he heard a dog barking at him, so he stumbled into Meadow.

"Sorry, didn't expect a dog", he explained breathily and Meadow snickered. For being wolves it was odd for AJ to be scared of dogs but he did have a pass by with a rabies dog and after that, he had been sceptical about them.
Sighing for something to happen, they all of a sudden heard a lot of rumbling coming from inside and the twins immediately knew that it only was Hagrid getting the door, and he did open the door a couple of seconds later. He stared down at the two and he didn't waste a minute before he grabbed AJ and Meadow into the cabin. It was only one room, a gigantic bed was up against a wall, a fireplace was lit with a copper kettle boiling up water and a small table was there and it had two chairs.

"Ah, I did expect yer two comin' to visit", Hagrid said loudly with a sort of growl and he kind of reminded AJ of a bear.

"Oh, well that's interesting", Meadow spoke oddly grabbing her brothers jacket and slightly pulling him closer towards her.

"I knew yer dad, one o the most decent blokes I ever have met but I did spend an eternity huntin him away from the forest", he muttered and AJ shrugged because he didn't know what to do. Was he going to sit down or something but he had to remember why they were here.

"Uhm yeah he did like the forest and all but we have a ton of explaining to do and I know we just met but we need a favour", Meadow explained and Hagrid frowned before he sat himself down on his bed, but before he did so he took the two chairs and sent them to the twins. Meadow didn't hesitate to sit down and neither did AJ because their legs were starting to fall asleep.

"Yeh say? Well let's hear yeh two-out", he grumbled and Meadow was about to explain about the whole thing with their dad being dead but AJ beat her to it. Not that it was a competition or something but AJ thought he owed Meadow one for telling Snape about their father alone so now it was his turn to tell someone that a person they knew had passed away. Hagrid sat there nodding but he stopped when AJ came to the part about the fire and then Hagrid sniffed as his nose was cloaked.

"That's horrible, horribly that somethin like tha happened", Hagrid responded after AJ was done explaining and Hagrid wiped his eyes from some fallen tears.

"Yeah and that's half of the story because we haven't come to the part about our mom yet but I have to ask", Meadow said but stopping abruptly so Hagrid would listen closely.
"Can we trust you?", she continued and he blew his nose into his large coat.

"O course yeh two can trust me!", he replied in the speed of lightning. Meadow shoved AJ in the shoulder only to find him shoving her back so that meant she was the one to explain the wolf situation.

"Well we're going to take your word but you can't tell anyone about what we are going to say", AJ added as Meadow was lost for words at the moment. She wasn't one hundred percent sure that this was a good idea but what do they have to lose or it's the best for everyone, just explaining it to Hagrid so they can sneak and shift at the room of requirement, without any questions of their friends.
