"No seriously Snape you gotta be kidding with me, I am not sitting at the Gryffindor table at my last feast here", Meadow complained agitated. She had just entered the great hall with her friends and they had already found their places but Meadow got stopped in the doorway by Snape who wanted to ruin her day.
The great hall was covered in green and silver banners, meaning that Slytherin had won the house cup and Meadow couldn't be happier for Hyperion. She knew how much they wanted to win.
"Miss Moonshard, it's not my choice. Both Mcgonagall and Dumbledore gave me the orders that every student had to sit at their house. I tried to convince them that it would be best if you sat with the Ravenclaws but they refused to listen so I'm deeply sorry", explained Snape softly but at the same time strictly.
"You know what?", she stated and he shrugged. She let a second pass by because she was trying to convince herself that it wasn't a big deal to sit with her housemates but it didn't seem like she got the message early enough. Suddenly Meadow let out a low growl and her eyes began to glow. Ever since she had woken up, she had been on edge and it didn't take her long before she let the wolf out.
"Either you move to the side or I will physically move you since it's no way that I'm sitting anywhere else than next to my brother", she treated and it was quite obvious that she was thinking correctly.
Snape wanted to argue because he didn't like her behaviour at all but was it such a good idea to start a conflict with Meadow when they finally had started to get along. Even if all his intentions were screaming that he should stay on his, he stepped aside and a little later Meadow walked past him and she gave him an ice-cold shoulder...Meadow, grinned because she thought that she had reached victory...but when Professor McGonagall came into the frame, a face firm with strictness and it seemed like Mcgonagall was ready for a battle, Meadow immediately turned around and sprinted until she reached the Gryffindor table. While she escaped a angry Mcgonagall, she spotted Snape dropping his hands in frustration. Yeah, Meadow didn't bother pissing off Snape but Mcgonagall was a completely different category.
"Did you just try and hide among the Ravenclaws? Until Mcgonagall spotted you, so you rushed her to avoid trouble", Ron claimed smiling when Meadow sat down next to Harry.
"Yeah pretty much", muttered Meadow casually. She would have loved to sit with her friends and her twin but facing Mcgonagall, was something she never would do. She will rather choose life instead of a table seat.
"But at least you got through Snape, like seriously how did you make him step aside?", Harry asked curiously. He didn't quite understand how Meadow had gotten Snape on her side or how Snape actually treated her as a human being. Snape literally hated everyone that wasn't Slytherin but at the same time he despised all his students but Slytherins was simply more tolerable.
"Can you guys keep a secret?", she said dropping her voice. She couldn't find any reason why she shouldn't tell Harry, Ron and Hermione about why Snape is kind to her and AJ. It wasn't like the biggest secret that could create a world catastrophe but it was a secret Meadow had kept for long enough. Besides, Harry and Ron would continue with grilling her on questions if she didn't tell them why Snape liked her.
"Yes we can because if it can help us to have a good spot with Snape, ouf we would be willing to do anything", Ron replied resonantly and Meadow couldn't stop herself from giggling.
"It's not going to help you guys in any way, it may worsen stuff if you mention what I'm about to say in front of Snape but whatever. Are you guys sure though if you want to hear why Snape is nicer towards me and AJ? And I know you three are probably going to look at me differently after what I have said but please don't hate me for it", she explained spluttering over her words.
