Chapter 38 Holiday Reply

The day had passed by and the twins had finally gotten the letter they had been waiting for even if it was a pretty fast reply since Nikisha was a rather quick flyer. But the owl that arrived with the post wasn't Nikisha or Alexis which delivered the mail but it was Hoothie the big green-eyed tawny owl and the twins thought it was odd that it was that owl who delivered the mail.

"I guess Jayden is home and that is why Hoothie is bringing the post but anyways let's give a moment of silence to the excitement", AJ told jabbing the letter away from Meadow who grunted but she didn't try and take it back. AJ opened the spiral emblem, closing the envelope and he slowly took out the long letter within it.

Of course, your friends can stay over for Christmas, the more the better of course but it comes with a price. Jayden and Stormy are planning on travelling to the nordic countries but they wouldn't be able to take Ardale with them so that means your little cousin would need babysitting during a long period in the summer vacation and since I have to work then I'm hoping that you two could maybe be the one to watch over Ardale.
Anyways allergies are very important, I don't want to poison your first friends with food they can't eat at our first meeting. Hopefully, they are nicer than the ones you had back at your old school because those were practically evil but just forget about that.

On December 22, after you two and your friends are back home, we will be travelling to Diagon Alley for the yearly gift trading and gift hoarding. Hopefully, some of you will maybe get me some new sneakers, hint hint. Your guys' friends will of course get money since that sounds more likely to do instead of them buying gifts from their own pocket.
But quickly wondering, are you guys planning on camping back on the lowest floor of the house or something else because I would need to know that so I can get the bed's ready and made before they arrive.
And to say it short since you two are probably wondering why Hoothie is working as the mail owl, yes Jayden and Stormy are here and instead of travelling to Lunar Falls. But if you two want to we could always stay there as well since we can always travel by Floo powder although I'm not a fan of it and neither is your sibling.
Annabelle isn't staying over for Christmas but you guys probably knew that already since she is normally spending the festive with her dad.
Jayden and Stormy have occupied the guest bedroom which they weren't too happy about at first but when they heard that your friends are staying over, then everything was alright.

We are going to have two days with Christmas obviously because Stormy wouldn't stop complaining about not having Christmas on the 24th instead of the 25th so I guess it's our new family tradition to have Christmas on two days instead of one. Don't worry guys you wouldn't need to buy double up with Christmas presents but remember Birthday gifts for Jayden would also need to be bought at the Diagon Alley visit so that wouldn't be hanging in the air.
New year? Eh maybe we should head to Lunar Falls when that time arrives and we have to throw a birthday party for Jayden since they are turning twenty-five this year and that's a very special occasion.

Well, that was probably it or wait no it wasn't. AJ why did you take every bloody darn pencil in the house so I have to write with this quill thingy which constantly runs out of ink and I can't erase stuff. No worries though but you could at least left some.
Anyways what I forgot is pronouns with your friends. I don't want to call someone by the wrong ones that's very important. Everyone isn't limited to what gender they are born with.
And also what food would you guys like? Pizza, pasta, taco or something Italian or Mexican. Stormy will also be occupying the kitchen so expect some egg rolls and much rice because it's probably turning into the Philippines in the kitchen or expect boiled potatoes and fish balls with curry if she is in the Norwegian mood. I don't know it's Stormy we are talking about, everything is half and half with him. Expect the unexpected I guess.
