"Looks like you were right, sis," Ukwtakun said while pulling himself out of the rubble of the building that collapsed.

"When am I ever wrong?" Maram gloated.

"Don't ruin it, alright? Anyway, looks like mum's finally awake." The Lycan Wendigo looked at the giant white snake where the temple used to be.

Famine was finally released. And with that, the siblings can get on with destroying the world and getting revenge on the gods.

"Still, I didn't think the boy would be the key to freeing mum."

"Well, it was the boy's presence that loosened the seal in the first place, so it's not that hard to think he could fully release her."

The person they were referring to was the Champion of Darkness. It was his very appearance that caused the seal on Famine to loosen and cause the siblings to get released. So, what if they got the boy to fully unseal Famine?

Although Maram thought of this, she didn't think it would work this well. Especially with Nocticula and her posse with her. But that seemed to have not been much of a problem.

"Come on, let's go greet mother," Maram said as she started to approach the giant snake, along with Ukwtakun in tow.

It didn't take long before they were close enough to the massive white snake that she would notice them.

"Hmm..." Famine looked down at the two wendigo siblings, a motherly aura radiating off her. "Ukwtakun, Maram, you two did a fine job. Ye have served thy mother well."

"We thank you for your praise, mother," Maram bowed before the giant snake.

"It's problem, mum," Ukwtakun also bow, showing his respect to his creator.

Unlike with most people, Ukwtakun and Maram show respect to only their mother. They believe that she is the only that deserves such.

"How long hath it been since we were sealed?" Famine asked.

"Far too long, mother. The gods created a new world with species similar to the Elders' creations but just weaker."

"Not only that, but the blood sods erased any record of the elders. Everyone where thinks they created the world. Of course, they're only half-right."

"Hmph. Those fools. We were naught more than tools to them, and they cast us aside for this...pathetic world?"

The reason the gods sealed up Famine and the other forbidden beasts was to protect the world they'll make in their image. But, looking around, the forbidden beast could only see a feeble and pitiful world. Something not even worth destroying in spite of their actions against Famine and her sisters.

However, the burning desire Famine feels for revenge would not go away no matter how pitiful it looked to her. Bottom line, if the gods loved this world so much, destroying it was her sole mission.

"Hast thou gathered information on mine sisters?" Famine asked.

"Unfortunately, no, mother. But, with you released, finding them should be simple since you're connected, yes?" What Maram said was true.

Because of Famine and the other forbidden beasts being connected, she'll be able to find and release them from wherever they are. Unsealing Famine was just the beginning.

The forbidden beast planned to release her sisters and cause chaos upon the world created by the gods'. They were treated as nothing more than tools, so they will show the gods what happens when they mess with one of the most dangerous beings in the world.
