"As you all know, over a year ago, the Goddess of Darkness, Zerris summoned a Champion from another world. However, it has been over a couple of centuries since the War of the Gods, a war where our followers fought each other to prove which of us were better."

As Amaris explained this, all of the other gods listened closely while also watching me. Feeling all of their eyes on me, made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

"Knowing Zerris, this was probably just another one of her usual antics, so it didn't seem like much of an issue. If the boy posed any problem, then we would've just sent one of our existing champions to deal with him."

W-wait, does she mean the Champions from the war? Those guys are still alive?! Although I had some questions about that, I decided to just keep my mouth shut for now.

"So far, the boy hasn't done anything worth mentioning. Some of his actions include picking a fight with the multiple kingdoms, stopping a rampaging undead Orc army, and stopping Drake Mirage, a Child of Fable, from destroying our sacred festival, the Festival of the gods."

Ok, in my defense, Allen and the other rulers started that fight. All I did was defend myself and told them to leave me the hell alone, right?

Also, why are you mentioning only Korgan's rampage and Drake's attack on the festival? There had to have been other deeds I did worth mentioning, right?

...H-hmm, now that I think about it, I guess not. T-those are the only ones that I can think of. Huh.

"So far, the boy's overall presence wasn't that much to note...that is until almost two months ago where he turned the sky red with blood and made a frightening thunderstorm that would put Gale to shame."

"Hmph..." Gale scoffed as he glared at me.

Hey, don't look at me, man. I didn't intend to do all that crap.

"Although most of you don't know the specifics, what you should know is that a village in the Thurmore Kingdom was being destroyed by a rogue faction of the Amarian Kingdom. His name was Archbishop Darron, who is currently in the Underworld so that he may suffer for all eternity under my orders."

Oh, so Darron's in hell, huh? I find that kind of ironic considering he was a following of Amaris, but hey, that's karma.

"However, it's not the matter of Archbishop Darron that I'm getting at here." Amaris's face turned grim. "When Damien Crow turned the sky red, he unleashed a powerful wave of mana. And that mana was very similar to that of the First Elder Kenos."

The moment Amaris stated this, the air around me grew thin, making it very hard to breathe. I tried to stay calm, but the atmosphere from before was turning too grim for me to bear.

"To investigate this, I sent my daughter, Zoe down to see if my suspicions on the boy were true. I'll have her explain what she discovered. Zoe, please come here."

"Of course, mother," Zoe suddenly appeared out of thin air. She was still wearing the same outfit I first saw her in.

Just remembering that day was already pissing me off. But I held off because I didn't want to cause a problem right now.

When Zoe saw me, her face contorted into that of disgust. Like she just saw a bug or something.

...I'm starting to reconsider not causing a fuss. That reaction just now was starting to get to me.

"Zoe, please explain what happened when you first encountered Damien Crow."

'Understood, mother." Zoe then went on to explain the moment she first descended to deal with me and how we fought and all the way up to when she bailed on our fight.
