Meanwhile, in the Kingdom where the Beast King Ghef was residing, he was currently in his doing some paperwork. Suddenly...

"My liege!" One of the King's generals barged into his office in complete distress.

It was his trusted general and close aide, Sullivan the Lycan Prince. Or at least, ex-prince, since he no longer has a kingdom and is now a general instead of a royal prince.

"Sullivan?" Ghef looked up from his paperwork to see a tired-looking Lycan in his office. "What's the matter?"

"T-this is bad, sir. Really bad!" He started panicking as he tried handing a piece of paper to the King.

"What's bad? What is the problem?" Ghef soon grabbed the paper and skimmed through it.

Once he was finished reading, a similar grim expression like Sullivan was on the Beast King's face now.

"What in the world...?" Ghef looked over the document again to make sure he made no mistake reading it.

Once he confirmed that what he just read was the truth, he placed the document down and started to panic like Sullivan.

"The Temperate Kingdom...has been overrun with monsters of unknown origin?" Ghef asked the Lycan for further clarification.

"I'm afraid so, my liege," Sullivan nodded grimly. "We've already sent some of our men to try and the people of the Kingdom, but we've most likely just sent them to their graves since none of them have reported back."

"This is bad..." Ghef slouched in his chair as he pondered what was going on.

Mysterious monsters appearing out of nowhere overtaking a kingdom? There should have been reports of this before the Kingdom was taken over! Like sightings and reports of the Kingdom being under siege and asking for assistance.

Yet, Ghef hasn't gotten so much as a word from the Temperate Kingdom on such matter. However, there was one thing he was called upon by the Kingdom about.

"Does it have anything to do with their food supply and agriculture suddenly rotting away?"

About a week ago, Ghef and the other Beast Kingdoms were asked from the Temperate Kingdom to send in some food to their territory since something was destroying their supply. Naturally, Ghef and the other rulers of the Beats Kingdom complied and sent as much food to the kingdom as soon as possible.

However, they didn't get a reply or even a report back from the people who sent the food to the Kingdom in the first place. Something was amiss, and Ghef's hunch was that it had something to do with the sudden Famine phase.

"I'm not sure, and our carriers who delivered the food supply still haven't reported back to us yet."

No doubt they got caught up in whatever was going on in the kingdom with the Mystery monsters.

"Tell me more about these beasts," Ghef asked. "Where did we spot them and when did the information of the Kingdom's fall come out?"

"Let's see..." Sullivan then went on to explain how they got information of the fall of the Kingdom and where they spotted these unknown monsters.

A group of soldiers spotted the beasts while patrolling the border between the Hybridia Kingdom and Temperate Kingdom. They were chasing what the soldiers assumed to be refugees or the like towards the borders.

While getting the civilians being chased to safety, the soldiers tried to end the monsters. Although they were successful, they suffered a lot of casualties.
