Now that I had plans for the Festival, I decided to tell the others about this. So, I called Amy through Telepathy and told her to gather everyone to the living room so we can talk. Meanwhile, Thana and I continued our walk back home.

Considering that the Festival was in two days, I wanted to inform the others quickly so I could prepare, but Thana insisted that we kept walking together. Although I felt like we were on the clock, I couldn't really say no to Thana. Then again, I couldn't say no to Arri, Amy, or even Vlad if they insisted.

I can't tell if I'm weak-willed or not, but whatever. I'm sure I can make up time if it makes Thana happy.

After our little walk, we soon arrived home. Once we got inside and headed towards the living room, everyone else was already there. Amy, Arri, Vlad, Van, and Emma were in the lounge with Van serving them tea or some other drink.

"You two sure took your time," Amy said with a sullen expression after noticing us. I don't know why, but I felt both guilty and afraid of this. I could feel my spine tingling a bit, almost as if alerting me of danger.

"Hey, you and Arri spent plenty of time with Master, so I deserved at least that much," Thana puffed out her cheeks, which was pretty cute.

"When Master called me and asked me to gather everyone, I assumed that it was an emergency."

"It's not necessarily an emergency. I just wanted to talk to everyone about what Thana and I were told."

"And you couldn't use [Gate] to make the trip faster?" Amy scowled, which made my blood go cold.

"W-well, Thana wanted to continue walking, and I couldn't really say no. I'm sure I told Vlad this so he could relay it to you all." In reality, the reason why I told Vlad this through Telepathy instead of Amy, is because I didn't want any conflict between Thana and Amy.

Plus, I was afraid of telling her myself. Yeah, laugh all you want, but when it comes to Amy, I can't help but feel intimidated. I'm still surprised that I'm dating such a person, but I don't regret doing so.

I cleared my throat, trying to change the subject. "Anyway, the reason why I called you all here is because Thana and I got some news that might concern us."

"News? Like what?" Vlad asked, somewhat curious and concern.

I then explained what we've been told by the Guild Master, Zami, and Clare. About the Festival and about an unexpected guest known as Drake Mirage, the Child of Fable. It didn't take long to tell them everything, but once I told them why I was involved, their expressions turned a little sour.

"So, they believe that this Drake guy is going to frame you for ruining the Festival? That sounds a bit farfetched."

"Not exactly," Amy disagreed with Vlad's statement. "Fable is known for being the God of mischief and deception, and the people who hold the title of being one of his children are just as devious and clever. I can't say I would put it passed the Child of Fable to put all the blame on Master. Though, I also can't say that I like it either."

Amy looked a little angry when she said that last part. I appreciated her concern, though her eyes gave a deadly gaze, which startled us a little.

"Yeah, so due to this, I agreed to help them watch out for Drake Mirage. I'll be heading down to the base to work out a couple of things before the Festival starts."

"Are we supposed to assist as well?" Arri asked, looking troubled.

Due to the Festival being a cruel treatment to Zerris, I didn't want Amy or Arri to feel like they have to help when they don't want to. Hell, I didn't want to help, but I couldn't afford to have Drake use me as some scapegoat, so I kind of had no choice.
