After questioning Yuri about anything related to the Cult of Zerris, I called the Guild to help deal with the damage that the Cult caused to the closed bar. Before some Guild members showed up, I dug through the debris pile that Luther was under to see if he really was dead.

That and I wanted to take his staff and cloak. Hey, despite how cringy the name is, it'll be useful in the future, so I could care less about some stupid name. Hell, if it comes to it, I'll just rename them into something better.

Anyway, after picking through the pieces of the ceiling, I finally found Luther, who was staring up at me with wide and fearful eyes. I thought he was alive at first, but soon realized that wouldn't be possible, what with a piece of wood stuck in his neck.

It seemed that he was choking on his own blood, because some of it was dripping down his mouth, giving his death an even more horrific appearance. Well, at least I confirmed that he was dead, otherwise, it would be one of those cliché scenes where the bad guy breaks out of the rubble when the hero walks away. Thank goodness I avoided that scenario.

Once I confirmed the administrator's death, I continued searching for that staff of his. I also took off his cloak to put it in storage. Let's hope that people don't realize I'm basically robbing this person's dead corpse.

After a bit of digging, I finally found the staff of Darkness, Shadowheart. God, I can't stress enough how terrible the name is. I mean, seriously, who comes up with these?

I then put away the staff in storage so I could examine it later. All that was left was waiting for the Guild to arrive.

A couple hours later, Arri and I were walking back to the Mansion. The reason we were walking back instead of using [Gate] was because Arri wanted to spend a little more time with me.

I couldn't blame her since most of our time with each other was interrupted by both the Cult and questioning from the Guild. I'm still surprised that something like this even happened in the first place.

It's like all the bad things that could've happened while I was underground just waited for me to make my day even worse. It's time like these that I just want to crawl in my bed and just sleep forever.

"I'm sorry that all that crap happened during our free time together, Arri."

"It's alright, master. What's important is that I got to be with you, even if those pests got in the way."

As I tried to apologize for the misfortune that happened, Arri simply shrugged it off. I guess she was trying to cheer me up since I feel like it's my fault this all happened. Which it, in a sense, was actually my fault.

Those guys only showed up because they were after me. Plus, when I refused to join them, they simply resorted to force and threatened to kill Arri.

I already knew that she would be okay, but thinking that Arri was put in that situation because of me made me feel really guilty. I honestly wanted to kill Yuri, since I didn't get the chance with Luther, but I held off so the Guild could deal with them.

To be honest, I want absolutely nothing to do with The Cult of Zerris. Just thinking of those people gives me a headache. I also feel an indescribable feeling to destroy their organization because of their misunderstanding of Zerris's goal.

After everything that happened today, I just want to go to sleep. The sky was already dyed crimson, displaying the setting sun in front of us, so it was almost time to go to bed anyway.

We soon arrived at the mansion. Once we got inside, we were greeted by Van and the others. We explained everything that happened today including the Cult, to which some of them expressed their opinions.
