Chapter 92: The Prowling Vampire of Tengoku

It was a calm and cold night in Askon. The city lights were on, and the place was still bustling with people despite it being nighttime.

Askon is a very active place at both day and night. And with the Tournament happening in a couple of days, there are those taking nightshifts in preparing for it. Then there are those who do other activities during the night.

And a certain fellow was just leaving such a place. Leaving a certain establishment after pleasing himself, the lone man was currently walking back home.

He staggered every now and then, so he needed to take a break. During his time at the certain establishment, the man had a little too much to drink, but he decided to walk back home regardless.

While stumbling back home, his hazy and dizzy eyes somehow managed to catch the sight of a woman in an alleyway he was just passing.

She had long bluish pink hair and wore a very elegant black and red Lolita outfit. She seemed to be limping, judging from the way she dragged herself across the alley.

Despite being drunk, the lone man was worried and rushed over to her.

"L-lady...are you alright...?" His words were slurred, but his message got through.

"Ah~ What a gentleman, making sure I'm alright," The woman said, her voice sounding both erotic...and bloodthirsty.

Oblivious to the ominousness of her words, the lone man tried to help the girl. "Y-you should probably go see...a doctor."

"A doctor, huh?" The girl then latched on to the lone man and pushed him against the wall. "Why would I waste time doing that when there's you to check me yourself."

She grinded her body against the man, causing him to get nervous. She was very erotic, and for some reason, she gave off a very pleasant scent.

"You want to spend some time with me?" The girl asked the man with seductive eyes.

Because of the alcohol in his system, the lone man couldn't resist the girl's charms. Since she was coming on to him, he only felt it was only right to do the same.

As he drew his face closer to hers, a sudden chill ran down his spine, like he was being warned about something...but it was already too late.

"Thanks for the meal~!" She then went for the man's neck and dug her teeth into it.

"A-agh...?!" Because of how drunk the man was, he had a few second delayed reaction to what just happened to him.

The woman that was coming on to him just started biting his neck. No, it wasn't just biting his neck, she seems to be digging her teeth into it and drawing blood.

She...she was drinking the man's blood! That meant this woman was a vampire. The same vampire that's been causing trouble in Tengoku.

The man tried to pull the woman away, but her hands were pinning his arms to the wall with unbelievable strength.

She looked so fragile before. But now, she was strong enough to easily overpower him. Drunk or not, it was both an impressive and dangerous feat.

A couple of seconds passed by, but it felt like minutes to the man. He could feel himself losing consciousness as the woman keeps drinking his blood.

Just as he was about to pass out from both blood loss and the alcohol, the woman flinched, pulling herself away from the man.

Suddenly, a swarm of rats surrounded the young man. He was barely conscious, but he managed to witness another man emerge from the swarm of rats.
