Lilith stared out the window in the living room. The reason why is because she felt something. A familiar presence outside the window.
As she looked out the window, she noticed that the sky was blood red with thunderous clouds all over the sky. It was like the end of the world was occurring. Yet, despite these ominous signs, she simply stared out the window, trying to figure out what that familiar presence was.
It was menacing and pure of malice...yet oddly enough, Lilith felt at peace. She didn't know why, but that presence she was feeling made her feel at ease than anything else.
Raven, Damien's pet wolf, stood by Lilith's side, watching out the window as well. Though, she looked more concerned than at peace.
"A-ah, young miss, there you are!" Lilith heard the voice of an older man call out to her.
When she turned around, she saw the butler of Damien's home, Vanamore. Van was from the demon race who used to serve the Demon King before becoming serving Damian Crow as his butler.
When Damien left to do a job, Van was instructed to protect Lilith while he was gone. So, when he saw the red sky and menacing thunder clouds, he was worried for the young girl.
"We need to get you to safety, young miss," Van informed. "Something appears to be happening, and I do not wish for you to get caught up in it."
As Van extended his hand for the young girl to take, she simply turned back at the window, the same look plastered on her face. The face of curiosity.
"Something's going on with big bro..." Lilith muttered. "I can feel it."
"Hmm, the young master? What do you mean?"
Although Van asked Lilith, she didn't really know why she what or why she thinks something was happening to Damien. All she knew was that she could feel it. There was definitely something going on with him.
She couldn't tell if it was good or bad, and yet, she wasn't anxious. Could that mean Damien was alright? Lilith didn't know.
"There you are, Vanamore." A female voice soon called out to the butler. "I detected that you haven't gone to the underground base with Lilith, so I prompt myself to search for you."
The girl wore a blank expression on her face, and she had a white and green baggy hoodie along with a gray skirt. The girl standing before them was Emma, the automaton that served Damien like Vanamore.
"Ah, forgive me, Miss Emma. I just happened to find the young miss a little before you arrived."
"I see. Since you've completed your mission, we must proceed with the evacuation procedures. According to my readings, that maelstrom outside won't be going away any time soon."
"Yes, though something seems familiar about this storm..." Van said, peering out the window like Lilith.
After looking at the sky for a little bit, something clicked in his mind, reminding him of a similar event that occurred about a month ago.
"Oh dear..." Van placed a hand on his chin.
"Is something the matter, Vanamore?" Emma inquired.
"You could say that, yes." Before Van could explain, Lilith beat him to the punch.
"It's about big bro, isn't it? Something's going on."
"Yes, I'm afraid that's what it looks like." Van nodded his head, confirming Lilith's statement.
"Please elaborate. What does this have to do with what's happening?"
