Part 30: Eri's fears and tears

 I'll probably will only be able to update every Saturday, because of school so here we are....enjoy

Nobody's POV

Shigaraki woke  up first. At first he was surprised at the fact that he was laying on the big couch, but when he felt Eri in his arms he remembered. He looked at Dabi to see if he was awake. Unfortunately for him he was still  in a deep slumber. He was stuck, under a child and on top a man-child. 

'K...What now??' Shigaraki thought as he looked around without moving his body, only his head. 'Wait, I still need to make that call with Overhoe..Where is my motherfucking phone?' 

His eyes started scanning the area hoping to spot it on a table, stool, another couch or the bar counter. He was slightly distressed when he didn't find it, but moving now would be a death crime. He looked at the clock. 'It's 7am...No one from the league is up at such an ungodly time. Why am I awake?? Ugh, I'll just have to deal with it' So he just stayed there in silence. The only thing he heard were Dabi's and Eri's breathing. They were perfectly synchronous. 

Suddenly Raven walked into the room with a dry leaf in her mouth. He was confused and whispered "What?? Raven what are you doing?" She meowed, dropped the leaf and left. Seconds later she came back with a stick, and sat next to the leaf. Shigaraki just watched. She chewed on the stick and got rid of the tree bark. She did this until the stick was completely 'naked'. 

Around 7:45 Dabi's breathing changed and Shigaraki could hear him groan. "Ohh so the sleeping burnt toast is awake now~" He whispered. "I'm not in the mood for such insults now creep~" Dabi replied with a really raspy dark voice. Shigaraki blushed a bit, he liked Dabi's morning voice. 

He shook his head a bit to get rid of any insults, and he swallowed a flirty answer down. As his eyes went down he groaned annoyed "Come on Raven, not again..." Tomura turned his head his way "What do you mean with not again?" Dabi sighed and let go of Tomura, so he could stand up. 

Now Tomura stood next to the couch with Eri in his arms. Dabi stretched himself and got up to crouch down to Raven. Then he explained  "Raven developed a new habit when you were in the hospital. She would bring back presents from her trips. Mostly leaves and sticks, but sometimes flowers too. She refuses to put them back. And she always throws a tantrum when I try to throw them away." He picked the stick and leaf up "So she has her own shrine now." "WHAT?!" The boy whisper screamed. "Don't worry, it was the old closet we wanted to get rid of anyways." He wanted to walk of to a side room, but Tomu muttered "I'll bring Eri to my bed." The other male nodded and answered "Then I'll wait...I have some questions for you." 

After Shigaraki brought Eri to his bed, he came back into the room. He positioned himself in front of Dabi and asked "What do you want to talk about?" He gestured him to follow him. 

As they went through the hall Dabi started speaking "So where exactly did you find the girl?" Shigaraki got nervous, that was a hard question indeed. Even if it had a simple answer. 'What will he think? Do I need to lie...No lying is not an option in this situation. Should I tell him only half of the story..only the necessary parts...This is getting awkward.' 

Then Tomura replied "I found her in a bush..crying..in Chisaki's garden." He dragged the sentence out until he gave Dabi the info he wanted. He immediately stopped in his tracks, and turned around to Shiga shocked. "You WHAT!!?? Do you know what consequences this might have?? Do you." Before he could continue Tomura interrupted him "I know I know I know. I messed up, but I couldn't just leave there. I-I felt bad for her. She reminded me of myself. So helpless and alone. Crying for a savior..."

Dabi hugged Tomura who shed a few tears "Hey, it's ok. I think you misunderstood me. So let me be clear. I was asking you how you plan to keep Eri. With us and away from that bird bitch. And if we are going to tell the others." Tomura looked up and smiled "Thank you Dabi. I really mean it" He leaned in for a kiss. Dabi connected their lips to a sweet short kiss.

After the kiss Dabi laughed a bit "Soo can the big bad boss really feel empathy. Towards a child and his right hand man." He snickered. Tomura blushed slightly and turned his head away "Oh shut up Dabi!!" He yelled. 

After they brought the leaf and stick to the shrine thing, which had to Tomura's surprise at least 5 flowers, 10 sticks, 8 little stones, 5 big stones and 20 leaves. They went back to the couch. "You want something to eat creep?" Dabi asked as he walked around the room, clearly bored. "Yeah but first we need to check up on Eri. I'm sure she has some preferences with food." He stood up and Dabi just followed him. 

They walked through the hall to Tomura's room. When they came closer to the room door some strange noises came out of it. Tomura stopped for a second, before he slammed the door open and sprinted in the room. The noises were sobbing. "Eri!?" He looked around worried, until his eyes meet with a little pile under his blanket.

The pile was shaking and still sobbing. Tomura walked towards his bed and sat near the pile. "Hey what's wrong Eri?" Tomura asked calmly. When he got no answer he moved his hand closer to the pile. He laid his hand where he thought Eri's head would be. 

After a few more sobs she finally spoke. Her voice was shaky "H-He's..gonna find ME!!" Tomura's eyes widen, but then he decided to grab Eri with both hands gently. She was struggling at first but then gave in as he placed he on his lap. The blanket was still covering her whole body. 

"Why do you think he will find you?" Tomura asked as he stroke her head carefully. "HE will. He always found me, no matter what!! And then.. And then he will bring me to the chair. He says I'm dangerous and only he can help me!!" She cried out. 

Tomura was clearly shocked. It was like he was lost for words, as if they were stuck in his throat. In this moment Dabi decided to get involved in the drama, which happened right before his eyes. 

He sat next to Shigaraki and pulled the blanket off of Eri's head. "Hey Eri, listen up." Her teary eyes focused on Dabi "Just because a quirk is strong or difficult to control doesn't mean it's dangerous. Like look." He ignited a little blue flame in his hands. "I have this little flame under perfect control" He pulled a receipt out of his pocket. "It's still dangerous" He held the receipt over his flames. 

The flames immediately set the piece on fire. He stopped the flames, and took the receipt's fire out with his hand. The he took Tomura's hand and pulled of his glove. "Tomura, has a dangerous quirk too. It may not be strong at the moment, but with the right training he's gonna be even MORE POWERFUL." He gave Tomura the rest of the piece of paper. 

As soon as five finger touched it it stared crumbling and finally turned into a little pile of dust. "See we both have dangerous quirks, but" he handed Tomura his glove which he instantly put back on "we learned how to control our quirk" He took Tomura's hand and intertwined their fingers. "and live with our still dangerous quirks." 

He held their hands good visibly for Eri. He looked in Tomura's crimson eyes. They were thankful, that I got involved and helped him out. My eyes went to Eri and then back to him like 'Don't you have to say something too?' 

He looked down at her, and tugged some of her messy hair behind her ear with his free hand. Her attention shifted away from the hands and to Tomura. He wiped away her last tears and said "Overhaul isn't going to find you. The League is going to protect you and help you control your quirk." Tomura let go of Dabi's hand and put his glove back on. 

Eri hugged tightly onto Tomura. He happily returned the hug. Then Dabi suddenly grabbed onto Eri's waist and lifted her up to his chest. At first she screamed in surprise but then she looked around surprised "Is this...What it feels like to be tall?" 

Dabi laughed and replied "Yeah, but I have a question for the little princess?" She looked at him "What do you like to eat?" She looked down for a moment thinking before admitting "I really like apples. Especially the red ones!!" "So apples it is!!" He declared and looked at Tomura but the just gave a dismissive wave of his hand. He still had some business with Overhaul.

As soon as they both left the room to make breakfast, he grabbed his phone from his desk and looked for Kai's number. Then he clicked on call an waited for him to pick up. He couldn't wait for Kai to call him. Then he heard him pick up. "So what about the deal we made??" 'Straight to the point huh?' he replied "It's okay with me. When should I send them over to you?" After a little silent part "Tomorrow would be great for me." "Good they'll be there, bye" Tomura hung up and smirked to himself. 'Now he has traitors in his line's. The infiltration starts and when I'm finished with you you will be a nobody, A NOTHING!!"
