Arc's POV
A bell rang as the elevator door opened and I put on a flashy smile. "Hello and welcome to Matrix Technologies and Industries! We are incredibly excited to have you here today for this tour! My name is Arc Matrix, and it's a pleasure to be meeting you. If you would please come this way, my son Zane will start the tour." I led a group of young kids over to Zane. He and their teacher walked away with them, and I walked back to my office. "Why do you still do that?" Gabe asked. "I'd be giving the tour myself if I wasn't keeping your ass in line, today." I snapped. Gabe sighed. "I'm sorry! I just don't like that girl!" He groaned. "That doesn't give you the right to bring up her dad. The man that verbally abused our best friend. Maybe Techna is over it, but Gypsy has every right to be upset about it. She was only a child!" I pointed at him aggressively. "She needs to get over it, Arc." Gabe huffed. "Techna I can understand being so rude. Afterall she's the victim and it's her daughter. But you? Have you forgotten how to be human? How to not act like a computer? Cause right now, you're no better than any artificial intelligence." I snapped. "Don't you dare compare me to AI!" He marched up to me. "Then apologize. Admit defeat. Now that Santana is a superhero, there's a position open in Zephyr's matrix. I gave Gypsy the job. I've already apologized for last night. Now it's your turn." I pointed to the door. Gabe groaned in annoyance and stared at me for a moment. "Fine." He snapped.

We both teleported down to Zephyr's matrix. "Techna has given us full access to Titus's old warehouse, where the dinotrons lay dormant. We need to put together a team to go out there and investigate them." Zephyr was holding a meeting in her board room. I smiled, watching her work. Zephyr stood at the head, pointing to the map of the warehouse, and Gypsy stood beside her, taking notes. Santana, Lizz, and Retro were all in attendance. "Why am I here?" Santana asked. "Because Spark Hound and Hurricane take orders from you. You're their leader. Sonar and Red Rover are their own team, and obviously Orange has The Arrows." Zephyr explained. "Why don't we all just go then?" Santana asked. "Because someone has to stand back in case something actually goes wrong." Zephyr huffed. "That's what we have parents for, and if they're so busy, then you could handle it." Santana smirked. "No, and no. Sonar, what's your idea?" Zephyr asked. "I vote that The Arrows should go. If an investigation is what you're planning, then they have the best equipment, the most eyes, and the better skills for the job." Lizz said. "Thank you, Sonar. That technically is all true, but! You saw what happened the last time one of those things attacked. My team was practically powerless against a dinotron! If one of those things wakes up, Sky and I won't be strong enough to stop it." Retro replied. "Even still, none of us have any investigation skills. We wouldn't even know how to start." Lizz told her. "Why don't you guys go, and just bring one of us as backup?" Santana suggested. "And you think that'll be enough?" Retro asked, sarcastically. "Of course not! But all of us combined wasn't even enough. So I say, bring someone else with your team as backup, and if something goes wrong, you'll have someone that can report back for help." Santana explained. "That's actually not a bad idea, Talon. Now we just need to figure out who will go with you." Zephyr said. "Easy. Bring Blaire- er uh- Hurricane." Santana replied. "Why Hurricane? She doesn't have that much power." Zephyr said. "Oh, I'll go with you too if you want, but you need to get Hurricane out of her house. She needs a reason to leave right now." Santana explained. No one responded until Retro sighed. "Ok. I'll take you and your bitch. Let me go gather my team." She stood up and walked out. "Great! Thanks for coming, girls." Zephyr smiled and the others left.

Gabe and I walked into the room. "Hey dads. Something wrong?" Zephyr asked. Gypsy hid her face in the clipboard she was holding. "Yes. I married an asshole." I nodded. Zephyr raised an eyebrow and Gabe glared at me. Then he sighed and looked over at the girls. "I owe you both an apology. Zephyr, I'm sorry that I punished you for dating Gypsy. That wasn't fair. You have the right to love whoever you want, regardless of how I feel about them. And Gypsy, I'm sorry that I targeted you last night. I didn't think that hearing about your dad would hurt you so badly. I don't like you, but you didn't deserve that, and I want you to know that I don't think you are like your father. You are nothing like him, and he has nothing to do with why I don't like you. I just don't like your attitude." Gabe explained. "Dad!" Zephyr snapped. "Right. Sorry. You are welcome here, and at our home, whenever you like. I can't stop you from seeing Zephyr, but all I ask is that you treat her the way she deserves to be treated." Gabe replied. Gypsy looked up at him. "Thank you, sir." She said. "Good job. You might not have to sleep on the couch tonight." I patted Gabe's shoulder. "Might?!" Gabe shrieked. The girls laughed and I dragged him out of the room.

Zed's POV
"You have got to be kidding me." I stared wide-eyed at Kat and Quinn. We're back on Earth thirty two now, and Quinn looks like she's going to puke. "How many times are we going to switch worlds? My insides are twisting." She gagged. "I'm figuring it out! Anyways, what do you think, dad?" Kat smiled. "I think you're insane! This girl kidnapped you, and forced you to play her fake girlfriend in exchange for you getting her to be your fake wife?!" I exclaimed. "Not forced." Kat replied. "And then you found a Madex that's in the mafia and wants your head?!" I shrieked. "It's just one girl." Kat shrugged. "And then you basically kidnapped the mafia boss's daughter?!" I screamed. "Mmm, yeah I did do that one." Kat agreed. I groaned in annoyance. "Dad, Quinn agreed to marry me in return for me saving her dad. I need to figure out how to do that." Kat explained. "Kat, she's a Madex. I don't fucking know how to fight her. From my knowledge, it's not possible! You're asking the wrong dad! I'm not the nerdy one!" I snapped. "You seem very upset." She noted. "No shit! And also, protecting her dad shouldn't be your top priority. You should be worried about protecting yourself! That Madex may not be able to track you here because of Heather's weird shielding spell, but she will definitely be able to track down this world's version of you and kill her. That girl is only a super-human, and is innocent. You need to protect her." I spat. Kat looked over at Quinn, who just stood there with her arms crossed. "That's not part of our deal." She shrugged and looked away. I rolled my eyes and grabbed her shoulder so she would face me. "Listen here you dog. If it were up to me, I'd kill you right here and now. You're worth none of my time, but my daughter needs you to survive. So here's my deal for you. You are going to do whatever she says whenever she asks it, and in return, I won't murder you and have your entire gang put in prison. Got it?" I snarled. Quinn only huffed in my face. "Sure, old man. Whatever you say." She rolled her eyes. I clenched my fist as it started to glow, and super punched her right between the eyes. She was blasted back across the room and crashed into the wall. Then she fell onto her hands and knees, groaning and gasping in pain. Kat sped over to her and bent down to help her up. "Go find your second self, and hope that she can understand what we've done." I ordered. "Ok, dad. We will." Kat agreed.

I called Charlie as soon as they left and explained everything to him. "Clever girl! Now that's a good deal." He chuckled. "You think that our daughter conspiring with the mafia is a good thing?!" I shrieked. "It's not like they can hurt her, and as for the Madex problem, they actually can be defeated pretty easily. Our magic does nothing to them, but other magic can." He explained. "But they eat magic." I replied. "They can't eat ours. Plus, they have a very simple weakness. It's actually a little embarrassing." He laughed. "What is it?" I asked. "Electricity! One little zap and poof! All the power they've eaten just whooshes out of their bodies." He explained. "How come you didn't tell me stuff like this when I was a scout?" I asked. "Because you thought it was nerdy and useless." He replied. I frowned. "Sorry, but even with all that information, I still don't like the girl Kat is working with. Regardless of her title, she's just a disrespectful little jackass!" I snapped. "And she's with Kat? I don't see a problem. You do realize that Kat's intelligence levels even Gabe, and that she's more than capable of standing up for herself." He reminded me. "I know! But that doesn't stop me from worrying." I frowned. "It's ok to worry, but you have to let her do her own thing. If she really needed us, she'd come get us." Charlie put his hand on my shoulder and I looked at him. "Yeah, I guess you're right." I nodded. "I am, now! Do you want to hear about your other daughter?" He asked. I smiled and he laughed. "She's marrying Kara." He said. "What?!" I shrieked, and he laughed again. "Relax. I'll fill you in." He replied.
