Meanwhile
Santana's POV
"Blaire! Let's go! It's been thirty minutes! Even I don't take this long!" I honked the horn in her driveway. The dance started an hour ago, and Blaire is gonna make us late to being fashionably late. "Isn't Kat supposed to be here?" Cleo asked from the passenger seat. "Yeah, but she said there was something important she had to do on Earth thirty two. Something about her marriage deadline? I don't know, but she apologized for not coming. Nice suit by the way." I pointed at her. "Thanks! Lemmy made it for me! She's got a really steady hand." Cleo replied. "You're friends with Lemmy? The goddess?" I asked, shocked. "I'm still not convinced on the goddess thing, but yeah kind of." Cleo shrugged. Suddenly, we heard the front door slam closed and Blaire marched out to the car. She opened the passenger door. "Move it barky!" She snapped. Cleo quickly climbed into the backseat and Blaire sat down. She slammed the car door shut and buckled herself in. "Are you alright?" I asked. "Drive the fucking car." She snarled. I frowned and backed out of the driveway.

When I parked at school, I locked the doors as Blaire tried to get out. "Hey! What gives?!" She snapped. "You're not in a party mood, Blaire. What's going on?" I asked. "It's not often that we see you pissed off like this." Cleo added. "Nothing! It's just my moms fighting, as usual. Now can we go?" Blaire groaned. I sighed and unlocked the door. She immediately left and started walking to the gym. "Why would you let her go?!" Cleo shrieked. "Because there's nothing else we can do for her! I just hope I can get her to enjoy the dance." I explained, and we got out of the car.

"You don't have to be with me all night." I told Blaire. She shrugged. "Someone has to be your cock block." She replied. "I can do that myself." I huffed. Blaire raised an eyebrow at me. "Come on, Blaire! You deserve to have some fun! Go find a guy to dance with! I know you have your suitors, too." I smirked. She giggled. "Yeah, but there's only one suitor that I would actually dance with. The only one with any heart." She explained. "Ooh! Who is he?" I smiled. Blaire laughed and shook her head. "You're gonna think I'm insane! And besides! I don't want to lead him on." She said. "Who is it!?" I shrieked. She sighed. "The Lime Arrow." She said. "Max? Really?" I asked. "He likes me though. I don't want to hurt his feelings." She admitted. "It's just one night, Blaire. And you're the one with hurt feelings right now, so go have some fun! Look! Speak of the devil." I laughed. Max was walking over. "You are the devil." Blaire groaned. "Hey girls!" Max greeted us. "Hello Max." Blaire giggled. "Hi Max." I smirked. "Are you having a good time? Any weird guys come up to you?" He asked. "Other than you?" Blaire asked and I nudged her. "Nothing we couldn't handle. In fact! I'm gonna go get some water. I'll be right back." I patted Blaire's shoulder and walked away. "Satan! Get back here! I'm supposed to be protecting you!" Blaire yelled, and I ignored her.

I laughed watching Blaire dance with Max, but she looked to be having a good time. "He cannot dance." I heard. I turned around to be met with Connor, The Blue Arrow. "Oh, hey! Yeah, but Blaire's just as bad." I noted. He looked down at me. "Oh look! We match!" He chuckled. "Well yeah, I heard blue is your color." I smirked. "Apparently it's yours too, Talon." He smirked right back at me. I giggled and he looked back at the dance floor. "Why aren't you out there with your friends?" I asked. "Uh- because they all have some sort of date, and I'm not dancing with Max! That's gay." He huffed. "Don't you have two dads?" I asked. "That doesn't make me gay!" He exclaimed. I looked away awkwardly. "Wait, did you all think I was gay?!" He asked. "Ha! Um... maybe." I smiled nervously. Connor sighed. "That makes so much more sense." He groaned, and I giggled. "Santana!" We heard. His voice made me stiff, and Connor noticed. "I was hoping I'd see you tonight." Hunter walked up to us and I frowned at him. "Forget about everything before. I forgive you! Now, do you want to dance?" He held out his hand. "You forgive me?" I asked, appalled. "Yes. Now come on! We both know he isn't going to pay as much as I do." Hunter glared at Connor, who looked stunned beyond all belief. "This is why I blasted you, Hunter. Like I said before, I'm done! Now fuck off!" I snapped. "Santana, just listen-" He stopped when my fist started glowing. "Fine, but I'll be back." Hunter stomped away.

Connor scoffed at him. "Pussy." He huffed. "I hate that guy." I groaned. "Does that happen a lot?" He asked. "You have no idea." I rolled my eyes. "That's ridiculous. I thought you stopped all that whore crap." Connor said. "I did! But Hunter hasn't gotten it through his head yet." I huffed. Connor looked over and saw Hunter still staring over at me. "Why don't I be your bodyguard tonight? I don't really have anything else better to do, and it'll be nice to help a friend." Connor held out his hand to me. I looked up at him and my face suddenly felt warmer. "Thank you, Connor. That actually sounds nice." I placed my hand in his, making chills run up my arm, and down my spine. "Plus, it'll be fun to turn some heads." He chuckled. I laughed with him. "Gotta love making rumors." I agreed. We ran over to the dance floor to join Max and Blaire.

Spending the night with Connor was more fun than I expected, and we definitely turned some heads. One in particular also got me grabbed. "Ah! Kara! What the hell?!" I spat. "Why are you dancing with Connor? Don't you screw him over! He's too nice for that!" She snapped. "I appreciate your concern for him. I don't appreciate your take on my intentions with him. Also, we're just having fun. Just as friends! Nothing more! And it was his idea!" I explained. "And you agreed to it, why?" Kara raised an eyebrow. "Well, he saved me from Hunter so I owed him. Plus, he is really nice, and very cute." I noted. "No! Santana, no!" Kara smacked my arm. "Ow! Hey!" I smacked her in return. "I'm not gonna do anything! I hardly even know him! We're just friends! And also, stop making me out to be a whore! I'm trying really hard to change!" I snapped. "I know you are, and you're doing very good, but I just don't want you to accidentally get Connor interested in you, only to break his heart." She explained. "Who says I'd do that? Maybe I could actually have a real relationship for once. Even if it's not with Connor. Is that really such a hard thing to believe? That I might want that?" I asked. Kara sighed. "Just be careful. That boy is one of the most innocent people I've ever met. Don't fuck him up." She pointed at me and walked away.
