Santana's POV
Sky and I were tied up back-to-back with power cuffs. Sky made a struggle, while I just sat there in annoyance. "Will you stop?! You're not going to break a metal chain with your wiggling!" I snapped. "I don't see you hatching any bright ideas!" Sky snapped back. "What's it matter? You know what's gonna happen. Our friends will burst through that door any minute now to save us." I shrugged. "You don't know that! They cloned us, Santana! We could be here forever!" Sky groaned. I rolled my eyes. "Look, I know my mom, and unfortunately, Kara is the carbon copy of her. They'll be here." I huffed. "Kara is nothing like Paws, if that's what you meant. Ella and Addy talk about her a lot. She has the hero genes, but she's more like Aethra." Sky admitted. "Don't tell me that. Then I don't feel as confident that they're coming." I frowned. Sky sighed heavily. "Surely Aethra would come for you." She said. "She would, but not Kara. She's pissed at me right now, and if our relationship is the same as our parents, then I'm fucked. You know my mom once took Paws' powers away just because she was mad at her?" I explained. "Santana, she's your sister. It's not the same. Besides, if she's mad at you then that's good! Pepper wouldn't have known that while pretending to be you, so maybe they are coming! Also, you may not have the power that she does, but you still have the hero gene. Otherwise you wouldn't be so optimistic about them coming to save us!" She explained. "You have the hero gene too, and you're not optimistic." I noted. "I have villain genes, actually, so I'm not exactly confident in my team finding me. They're idiots who can't tell the difference between dogs and cats!" She groaned, and kept struggling against the back of her chair. I sighed and looked down as I heard Sky fall over behind me. I huffed a laugh. "How well did that work?" I asked. "Shut up." She groaned.

"That's what you get for not believing in us." We heard. I looked over and smiled at The Arrows. Retro blasted our chains away, and they ran over to us. Connor helped me up and took off my power cuff. "Hey! I'm so glad you're ok!" He exclaimed. I hugged him. "I'm fine, babe." I smiled. Bailey helped Sky up, and took off her cuff. "What happened? Are you ok?" Sky asked. "I'm fine! Are you?" Bailey asked. "Yeah. Did you guys catch them?" Sky asked. "Yeah. Pepper and Sawyer have been caught. Lizz is getting ready to blow this place up to free our parents." Retro explained. "What?! That would kill Pepper and Sawyer! We can't do that!" I exclaimed. "There's no other option, Santana. We tried." Connor told me. I shook my head. "There's always another way." I spat. I looked down in thought, until it came to me. "I got it. Where are they?" I asked. "Out front." Connor answered. "Let's go then!" I led the way and they followed.

Zephyr met with us outside. "What exactly do you want to do?" She asked. "Having the power explode now, will kill them! But if we can create a kind of... tube? To get the magic back into Pepper and Sawyer, then they might survive. Like... instead of draining them, we'd refill their magic." I explained. Zephyr raised an eyebrow, and thought for a moment. "Ok... I think we could pull that off. If you can cast a reverse-siphoning spell on the two of them, then any free magic nearby will flow into them! And when that thing explodes, there will be magic all around us, not to mention the magic keeping our parents as kids." Zephyr nodded. "But how do I do that? I've never casted a spell before." I shrugged. "We can help you." Sky put her hand on my shoulder, and I smiled at her. Retro nodded in agreement. "Ella, Bailey, take off their cuffs and hold them still. Zephyr, make sure Lizz is ready." Retro ordered. Zephyr pinched her suit cam, and leaned down to it. "Sonar, come in. Have you found it?" She asked. There was a short silence before she answered. "Yeah! It's uh... a lot bigger than we expected. Kara and I should be able to blow it though. Are you ready?" Lizz asked. "Almost. We have Santana and Sky. We're just... fine tuning the plan." Zephyr replied. Retro and Sky each extended an arm, and I did the same. "We'll start it, and all you have to do is blast into our streams. Your magic will automatically join our spell." Sky explained. "Ok." I nodded. They started the spell, and I joined it. It blasted at Pepper and Sawyer, who tried to run, but once the spell hit them, they froze. Their eyes started glowing and they dropped their heads. "Ella, Bailey, back away! Zephyr, now!" Retro yelled. The girls ran back to the team, and Zephyr radioed to Lizz. "Light it up." She said.

There was a short silence, where no one moved. "Did you do it?" Zephyr asked Lizz. On que, the spell blasted out of the roof of the mall, and exploded across the entire parking lot. All of our parents dropped to the ground, and a stream of magic flew out of them. That, along with the magic in the parking lot, started speeding towards Pepper and Sawyer. As the power started to suck back into them, the spell became heavier for us. Retro and Sky shifted in their stances, and started holding up their arms. My knees started to buckle, and I dropped down into a kneel, but I refused to drop my arm. Connor ran up behind me and helped me back onto my feet. "What's wrong? Why can't you stand?" He wrapped my other arm around his shoulders. "I'm not strong enough." I whined. "We can't do this without your help. Just a little longer!" Retro begged. "Lizz! Are you guys ok? Santana could use your help right now!" Zephyr called her. The magic drained from our parents, and they were all transformed back, but the mall was still draining power. My arm started to shake before I dropped it, and collapsed onto Connor. Retro and Sky immediately started to shake. "I'm sorry! I can't do it!" I exclaimed. "Not alone." I heard. I looked over as Lizz and Kara joined their spell. The weight lifted from Retro and Sky, and I smiled at them. "You're ok!" I exclaimed. "Of course. Now get back in here." Kara smiled. I took a deep breath, stood back up, and joined the spell again. The rest of the magic rushed into Pepper and Sawyer, and when it finished, they fell unconscious.

I ran over to them and bent down to check their pulses. "They're alive! We did it!" I cheered. "They're not the only ones." Kara smiled and pointed behind me. Our parents slowly sat up, and groaned in pain. "Mom!" Kara and I ran to them. "Are you ok? Do you remember anything?" Kara asked. "Yeah... I remember everything. Sorry I wasn't listening to you again." Apollo turned to Aurelia. "We were sixteen. I'm not mad at you, babe. Besides, it's not like I was very nice to you anyway." She shrugged. "So, you're ok?" I asked. They looked over at us. "We're great, girls. Thank you for saving us... again!" Aurelia huffed. We laughed and helped them up. "So are you done fighting? Or did you just put it aside for this?" Apollo asked. Kara and I turned to each other. Then Kara sighed. "Ok... maybe you had a point. You may not have the best personal dictionary, but you do come up with great ideas that end up saving everyone! And I should have helped you. I'm sorry." She admitted, and I smiled. "Thank you, and I'm sorry I got so mad. Just stop calling me an idiot." I smirked. Kara huffed. "But you are." She smirked back at me, and I rolled my eyes. "What do we do with them now?" I gestured to Pepper and Sawyer. "Oh. The Arrows are going to bring them to Teen Island." Kara answered. I huffed a laugh. "That's fun." I said, sarcastically. "Santana, did you see David or Henry while you were captured?" Kara asked. I shook my head. "I didn't see anyone. Sawyer tied us up, took our powers, and left. No one else came in." I shrugged. She sighed. "Dammit! They got away." Kara groaned. "Hey! Relax! You guys won! We can focus on them later." Apollo put her hands on our shoulders. "Yeah! Don't worry about it right now. You guys deserve to go celebrate. Let us worry about those guys. Gold and Red know more about him than anyone, anyways. Go have fun. We'll see you at home." Aurelia assured us. We smiled at them. "Thanks mom." I replied.
