Gabe's POV
When the force field went up, I ordered Arc and the others to stay with the employees while I teleported downstairs to see what was going on. The only light on was in the lab, so I ran over there. "Dad! Help!" Zephyr exclaimed. Gypsy was unconscious in her arms, and they were both covered in blood. "Oh my god. Paws, come in. Paws!" I called Apollo through my suit cam. "What is it, Firewall?" She asked. "I need a healer here, now!" I snapped. I tried to take Gypsy from Zephyr, but she wouldn't let me. "No! You have to stop the dinotrons. Gypsy put their codes into our network." Zephyr gestured to the computer. "So we can control them! Good thinking! Get her to the medical room now! I'll shut them down." I said. Zephyr ran out and I quickly started opening the dinotrons controls. Since the power had only just come on, it wasn't loading as fast as it normally does. "Come on. Come on. Load faster!" I panicked. The heroes all started rushing in as it got closer to finishing. "Dad!" Zane ran to me. "Router, are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah! Where's Cyber?" He asked. Before I could answer, the computer beeped and we both looked over. In big white letters it read 'shut down complete,' and I collapsed in relief. "Dad! Are you ok?!" Zane bent down to help me up. "Yes! I'm ok! We're all ok!" I laughed.

Zephyr sat beside Gypsy in the medical room. Paws sent Zill to come heal her, and it worked, but she lost so much blood that it would be a while before she woke up. "You should get cleaned up." I told her. Zephyr looked over at me, and then back at Gypsy. "She did all of this just to prove her love for me... and I shamed her. Kai was right. The Fates were right. I should have just forgiven her. We could have avoided all of this! And now she might never wake up." She told me. I slowly stepped into the room and sat down beside her. "Don't be so hard on yourself. If anything, you should blame me. I shouldn't have been so hard on her, and on you. I let my pride get in the way of your happiness, and it kills me. I just wanted you to excel, and I didn't think of the consequences. I'm so sorry that I forced you into all of this. I'm sorry for everything." I replied. Zephyr sniffled a little and smiled softly. "Thanks dad." She said. "I'm gonna give Zane some of your responsibilities while you recover, ok? You need a break." I said. Zephyr nodded. "Just don't let him in my office." She replied. I laughed. "I won't. I promise." I hugged her from the side and stood up. "Get some rest, Z." I told her, and left her there.

Dylan's POV
Gabe sent everyone home, and Addison followed me into my room. She shut the door behind me. "Ah! Oh! Addy. Hey!" I jumped and smiled. "Hey, Dyl. I just wanted to tell you that Riley saved me earlier." She said. "Of course she did. That's our job." I laughed. "Well yeah, but she said that I was her family. I think she really cares about us. So I just wanted to tell you that you were right to bring her on the team. She thrives here." Addy explained. I smiled at her. "Thanks. That means a lot... are you sure that's everything? You came in here just to tell me that?" I asked. Addison smiled. "No. Truth is, helping Zephyr with Gypsy, and then hearing what Riley said... it made me realize that I don't want to wait for love anymore. So! I really screwed this up last time, so I'm trying a more direct approach this time." She took a step closer and my eyes widened. "Dylan, will you go out on a date with me?" She asked. A smile slowly crept onto my face. "Yes. I would love to." I answered. She smiled back. "Great! I'll come find you later then." She turned around and left my room.

Retro and I found Riley in the kitchen. "Hey guys. We really need to restock the fridge. Hot dogs and frozen pizza rolls aren't really a great diet." She closed the fridge. "Hungry after your first big battle?" I asked. "Hungry, tired, aching, the list goes on!" Riley chuckled. "But you weren't scared this time." Retro smiled. "Not of the dinotrons, but... I guess the thought of losing you guys was... pretty scary." Riley admitted. I smiled and walked over to her. "What are you- argh!" She yelped as I hugged her. "I know you love us, Riley! And I'm glad to call you my family too." I said. "What?! Ugh- Addison talked to you, didn't she?" Riley snapped. "Oh loosen up, Riles. It's ok to care about people." Retro joined the hug and Riley sighed in annoyance. Then she huffed and wrapped her arms around us in return. "Thanks for being my family." She whispered.

Riley's POV
I took the longest nap ever, and then woke up to eat something. Then I remembered the lack of food options in the fridge, and decided I would just go out to get something. As I was getting ready to leave, I put on my belt and looked down at the empty holster on my side. I walked over to grab my gun, but stopped when I opened the drawer. I thought back on what Retro and Dylan had said, and smiled to myself. Then I shut the drawer and left without the gun. I left my room and headed to the door. "I'm going to the store. Do you need anything?" I asked. "Can you get me one of these?" Retro asked. I looked over at her and she flicked me off. I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Sure! Ella, give her one up her butt, will ya?" I asked. Ella giggled. "Sure thing, Riley." She replied. "What?!" Retro shrieked. I laughed. "Where's Dylan?" I asked. "On her date." Retro replied. "With Addy? Finally." I rolled my eyes and Retro nodded in agreement. "Ok. I'll be back in a bit. Bye guys." I waved as I walked out the door.

I was on my phone as I walked down the sidewalk to the store. I was texting Dylan about how I hope her date goes badly so that I can laugh at her later, just as a joke. All of a sudden though, I heard this faint buzzing behind me. A buzz that I recognized better than anything. I spun around quickly, but nothing was there. I exhaled deeply and shook my head, thinking it must have been a bug and that I'm just paranoid, but I wasn't. As soon as I turned back around, a bag was flung over my head and a loud zap was all I heard before everything went dark.

When I opened my eyes again, I was on a boat with a group of other confused-looking kids. A boy helped us up, led us out of the boat, and onto the dock. "Right this way, everyone! Please watch your step." He wasn't much older than me, and he led the way with a pleasant smile. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary for him, and it made me confused. Were we not all just kidnapped? He took us up to a woman in shiny metal armor that held a spear. Again, she didn't look much older than me. "Welcome newcomers to Teen Island!" She announced. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped slightly. "Oh shit." I mumbled. "We encourage all of you to stay here with us for as long as you are a teenager, for we have brought you here to save you from your awful lives!" She explained. Most of the group folded instantly, and ran into the island. "The welcome committee will help you settle in. Please be careful, and enjoy your stay!" The girl smiled. I groaned to myself and reached back for my phone, but it was gone. I must have dropped it when I was captured, and of course I don't know my friends' numbers by heart, so I was stuck here. Luckily, I knew it wouldn't be for long. My family wouldn't just leave me behind.
