Trapped

Kara's POV
When I woke up, all of us were in a white room together. Most of us woke up at the same time, and we got the others up. "What the hell happened this time?" Santana groaned. "This must be David and Henry's plan." I replied. "I'm afraid it's a lot worse than that." Arc said. We jumped when we heard him. "Arc! Gabe! You're here too?" I asked. "Yeah. This is... it's really bad." Arc nodded. "Dad, where are we? What's going on?" Zephyr asked. "Well, Zane got the information about Henry last night. Now we're here! And from the lack of other adults, I'd assume I know why." Gabe groaned. "Then why? Tell us." I huffed. He held up a finger as he thought for a moment. "If Riley was right, and Henry and David just wanted their kids back, then I'd assume this is a time spell. They said that their last spell failed, which means that they weren't trying to literally turn them into children, but maybe that they wanted to live their lives with their kids again." Gabe explained. "But Amber is the only one that can handle time magic." I said, confused. "Where is Amber?" Santana looked around. "She wouldn't be here. If I'm right, then David and Henry changed people's perspective on time. For instance, they could have stopped the fire that made Gold and Red start The Arrows. Or Henry could have not abandoned Riley." He explained. "Then why are we here?" I asked. "Simple! No Arrows? No kids. No need for Paws to make a super team to fight them. No kids. No stress of fighting so many people. Arc and I never got created. No help with portals? No Zed, which in turn, means no kids." He explained. My jaw dropped.

"But not everyone is here! Where are the others?" Santana asked. Gabe looked around. "Everyone! Pay attention! We need to figure out who isn't with us right now." He announced. "My siblings aren't here." Ella started. "Riley and Emma aren't here." Retro added. "Amber and Ember aren't." Santana said. "Riley not being here makes sense. This is her dad's doing." Gabe explained. "Cleo isn't here!" Santana added. "And Quinn isn't here." Kat joined in. "Gypsy isn't here. Neither is April, Lucas, or Peyton." Zephyr told him. Gabe thought for a moment. "Everyone that remained unaffected by our families isn't here. All we can do is hope that they can remember the truth, and come save us." He sighed. "Where even are we?!" I shrieked. Arc looked around. "This is a power strike room. Nothing we do in here makes any difference. Since, in this alternate time line, we wouldn't exist, I'd guess that they locked us in here to starve." He explained. "Oh, that's charming!" I rolled my eyes. "We'll be fine! We just need to be patient. My mom warned me about this." Retro said. We looked over at her. "They'll get us out of here, but we need to remain calm, and be patient. Even if no one can remember us, the Fates are still out there." She explained. "You would really put your faith in them?" I asked. Retro crossed her arms. "Yes. I would." She answered.

Kai's POV
When I walked to the Fates house, they were waiting for me. I stopped and raised an eyebrow. Then I sighed. "Ok. What am I doing for the mortals today?" I asked. Cal smiled and walked up to me. "They are in a lot of trouble right now. We can't do much to help them, but! We do have one thing that you can do. You know your little friend, Quinn?" She asked. I nodded. "Well, this memory spell happened while she was getting her things from Earth thirty two, so now she's trapped there. You need to go get her." She explained. I just stared at her for a moment. "Spell?" I asked. "Long story. Just go get her and bring her to Arrows HQ." Cal replied. I sighed. "Ok." I went to open the portal, but Cal stopped me. "One more thing. After you bring her back, stick around. They're going to need you later." She said. I smiled and nodded. "Ok. I guess I'll see you later, then." I opened the portal and hopped through it.

Once I dropped in, I called Quinn. "Hey! Are you calling because I'm trapped? Because I've been slowly coming to that conclusion." She groaned. Quinn sounded like she was panicking. "Yes? Are you alright?" I asked. "Well I would assume that something is going on, since I can't get a hold of Kat or Lizz or anyone! And the thought of my pregnant wife in danger is not exactly a great feeling." She whined. "Oh. Yeah that'll do it. Where are you?" I asked. "I'll send you my address." She replied. When I got the message, I hung up and teleported to her. Quinn jumped when she saw me. "Christ! What the hell, Kai?!" She shrieked. I just shrugged. "No one at all answered you? Did you try any of the adults?" I asked. "Charlie didn't answer me either, and Zed has my number blocked." She huffed. I squinted at her. "Spells can't carry over different universes. Zed shouldn't have any memory issues." I said. "Don't tell me we have to go see him." Quinn groaned. "Sorry." I grabbed her hand and teleported us away.

Quinn doubled over and gagged after we arrived in Zed's lab. "I figured you'd be used to this by now." I huffed. "Shut up!" She groaned. Zed peeked his head out of his room. "The hell? Why are you two here?" He asked. "Are you aware that Earth thirty one is under some sort of spell, and everyone you love is in danger?" I asked. His eyebrows shot up. "No! What?" He rushed over to us. "I don't know all the details. I just know that some spell fucked with everyone's memories, and I'd assume that even your husband doesn't know who you are right now." I explained. Zed nervously looked at Quinn. "Where's Kat?" He asked. "I don't know. She hasn't answered my calls, and I can't get back there without her!" Quinn answered. Zed looked back at me and I opened a portal. "I was told to bring Quinn to Arrows HQ. Would you like to come too?" I asked. Zed sighed heavily. "Please... and thank you." He said. I smiled, and we all jumped through.

Everyone freaked out when we showed up, but the shock wore off quickly. "Zed!" Amber ran over to him and hugged him. "Hey! What's going on?" He hugged her back. "I'm so glad you're ok! Everyone's memories are screwed, and all the kid heroes have been captured, and we can't find them!" Amber explained. "Ok! Ok, calm down." Zed laughed. "With you here, maybe we can break Charlie out of this spell." Amber smiled. "We can definitely try." Zed nodded. "Hey guys! How can I help?" We heard. We turned to the balcony, where Cleo flew in on her hover board. "Cleo?! You're still here?" Ember shrieked. "Ouch, but yes. I honestly didn't wake up until five minutes ago when Alex told me to come here. So! What crap are we stuck in this time?" She smiled. "We'll fill you all in. Kai, are you staying?" Lila asked. I nodded. "Fates' orders." I replied. "Great. Happy to have you." She smiled. "You guys talk. If Lizz and Kat are captured, then I have to go check on Ritz. I'll be back." Zed said. "Ok. Be safe." Amber nodded. Zed smiled and teleported away.

After they explained everything, I was stunned. Even I wouldn't dare to bother with time. "Kai, do you know where Astro is? We could use her to find Dail." Lila said. I shrugged. "No idea. She wasn't in hell, and this spell obviously can't return her godhood, so my best guess would be the portal house." I explained. "Ok. We'll have to check that." Lila nodded. Cleo walked over to me. "They didn't tell you anything either?" She asked. "No. Why would they? If I'm meant to be a part of this, then I can't know how it ends. We'll be fine though. They care about us too much to send us to our death beds." I laughed. "Mmm... are you sure?" Cleo asked. "Yes. I'm very sure that your girlfriend isn't going to kill you." I patted her shoulder.
