Kat's POV
Casey and Cory growled at us from the cage, but Quinn was just happy that they were safe. I smiled, seeing her so happy. Watching someone like Quinn care so much about her friends and her family made me realize something. "I need to go home." I said aloud. The rain finally started to come down. "Huh?" Quinn asked. Before I could say it again, Sash dropped in behind us. We spun around to face her, and she sighed. "Disappointing, but then again, what can I expect from earthlings?" She groaned. "A lot more than you'd think." I spat. "Ha! You're one to talk, weasel." Sash growled. "I'm a ferret you asshole!" I blasted her back. "I thought your magic didn't affect her." Quinn said. "It doesn't hurt her, but I can still push her away. Get your friends to safety. I'll keep her at bay." I explained, and snapped into my super suit. "Be careful!" Quinn ran off. I tapped against my suit cam. "I don't know how you'd see this from Earth thirty one, but if you can hear me Lizz, I could really use your help right now." I said. Sash lifted herself up and transformed. Her fur sprouted from her skin, her horns grew out of her head, and her tail whipped out behind her. Then she extended her claws and charged at me. I put up a force field, but Sash clenched her fist and punched it with all her might. My barrier disintegrated and I gulped. Sash chuckled. "You can try to keep me away for as long as you want, but it won't matter in the end. I have all the power here, and specifically, the power to end you for good." She pulled out a gun and pointed at me. "I'm bulletproof too, idiot." I snapped. "Are you?" She asked. I didn't know what she meant, but I didn't trust her for a second. When she fired the gun, I dodged the bullet, and watched as it hit the fence behind me. When it landed, it exploded in blue smoke. My eyes widened and Sash laughed again. "You get it now? I have your poison, weasel." She smirked. "And I have yours!" I shouted, and I channeled lightning down at her. I flew up, away from the explosion, but Sash just walked right out of the smoke. "Magic made? Really?" She asked. "Shit." I mumbled. She flew up after me and I bolted into the clouds.

I couldn't see a thing in the storm clouds, and as if dodging the lightning up here wasn't hard enough, Sash started ringing out Cytozine bullets into the sky. I tapped my camera again. "Dad! Lizz! Anyone! Please!" I called for help again. "No one is going to hear you!" Sash flew at me from behind, and I ducked down. She flew right over my head and I darted down after her. I flipped myself around and kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying into the dirt. "Ooh! I can still hurt you physically? That's... not good actually. I'm not good at close combat. Shit! Lizz, please!" I panicked. Sash shot up at me from the ground, and I loosely dodged them. I didn't think there was anything I could do from up here, but then I remembered something, and lifted my hands up. I created a small car, and let it fall on top of her. Then I landed and took a deep breath. Quinn ran back out and raised an eyebrow. "That explains the thud. Are you ok?" She asked. "She has a gun with Cytozine bullets. One shot from that gun is practically an insta-kill for me." I explained. "I won't let her shoot you. I promise." Quinn readied her own gun. "And what are you gonna do?" I asked. Thunder rumbled the distance and the sky flashed. "Lightning is attracted to metal. If you can create metal spikes in the ground, maybe we can strike her." She explained. "I can do that, and you'll keep her distracted?" I asked. "Sure. Can't be so hard." She shrugged. I smiled and flew back into the sky.

Sash slowly crawled out from under the car and wobbled as she stood up. Quinn immediately ran at her and punched her. Sash snatched her wrists and swung her around into the car. "I don't have time for your human bullshit! I have a legacy to uphold. So get out of my way!" She yelled. "Ugh- you need a breath mint." Quinn planted her back against the car, lifted her legs up, and launched Sash off of her. I smirked down at them, as Quinn brushed herself off. "Look at you go, human." I giggled. Then I went back to what I was doing. I created four big metal stakes and shot them down into the backyard. Almost immediately, one of them was struck by lightning, and Sash stopped in shock. "What's the matter, Madex? You scared of a little spark?" Quinn asked. Then she ran at her and tackled her down. "Give me your gun, asshole!" She tried to snatch it away, but Sash punched her with it, and Quinn groaned in pain. Then Sash took Quinn's gun and tried to scramble away, but Quinn got back up and swung her arms around Sash's neck, pulling her back. Then she brought up her knee, hitting Sash in the crotch, and she yelped in pain. Sash wrapped her tail around Quinn's waist and pulled her around in front of her, but on the way, Quinn smacked both guns out of her hands, and then punched Sash back. Then she ran to pick up both guns, and Sash ran after her. Quinn tried to hold Sash's gun out of reach, but she simply flew up and snatched it back. "You're causing me too much trouble, human!" She held up the gun at her. "No!" I blasted Sash away and flew down to Quinn.

"We need to get her to one of the stakes." Quinn said. "I can get her to follow me, but I might have to get shot." I admitted. "You can't do that! She'll kill you!" Quinn exclaimed. "I don't know how else I can fool her! She's stupid enough to follow me into lightning, and that's if I can even tell where it's going to strike!" I replied. "I can't let you do that to yourself, Kat." Quinn snapped. "Will you two stop with the fake couple crap!? It's getting old!" Sash flew up above us. Her claws started glowing and she held her hands up above her head. "I'll be glad to take out both of you in one shot!" She smiled as a blast formed in her hands. I put up a force field and got ready to hold my ground. Luckily though, a portal opened right above Sash, and Quinn tapped my shoulder. "What's that?" She asked. I looked up and smiled wide when Lizz dropped through the portal and kicked Sash out of the sky. "Sonar!" I dropped the force field and flew up to hug her. "The matrix got your message. Sorry I'm late. I was at school." Lizz shrugged. "Oh my god. That must be your twin." Quinn's jaw dropped. I giggled. "I'm Lizz. You must be Quinn." We flew down and Lizz shook her hand. "There are two of you?!" Sash got up again. "Ugh- and that must be Sash. Ok! What's the plan?" Lizz asked. Lightning struck one of the stakes again and Lizz nodded. "Got it. I can determine where it'll strike next, but you'll have to lure her to it." Lizz explained, and I nodded. "Can do." I agreed, and Lizz flew up into the storm. Sash ran us again and I blasted her back again. "Ok. I really hope she has an antidote on her." I groaned. "Wait! Kat..." Quinn stared down at her gun. "What? Quinn, I have to do this!" I snapped. "No! Look!" She showed me the gun. It was glowing blue. My eyes widened. "Oh I could kiss you right now! Ok. Ready to put on a show?" I smirked, and she smiled. "Always." She nodded.

I ran straight at Sash and tried to swing at her, but she caught my arm and swung me into the ground. "Kat!" Quinn started running over, but Sash stepped on my chest and pointed her gun at my face. "Stop right there, human! Unless you want me to make this even more painful for your girlfriend." Sash snarled. Quinn stopped and panted for breath. "Sash, don't do this! Please!" Quinn begged. Lizz flew in behind Sash and pointed to the stake behind her. I nodded to her and looked up at Sash. "Go ahead! Make me suffer! It won't change anything! Your power trip ends today!" I yelled. Sash's head snapped down at me. "Suffer? Oh I'll show you suffering. A bullet in the head is too quick for you!" She took back her foot and shot me in the stomach. The bullet bounced right off of me, but I slapped my hand over it and made my veins glow blue. "Argh!" I screamed in pain, and Quinn ran over to me. "Kat!" She yelled. Sash pushed Quinn away, and when she pointed the gun at me again, I ran. I got up, and limped away towards the metal stake. "You wanna play the long game? Sure! I'll play." Sash followed me, and shot me again in the ankle. I collapsed and struggled to find the bullet before she did. Then I dragged myself over to the stake and leaned up against it. I panted for breath and clutched at my ankle with my other hand. "Times up, weasel." Sash smirked proudly, and I laughed. The color in my veins faded and I stood up. "You're right! But that's not your gun." I smiled, and teleported over beside Quinn. "What?!" Sash turned back to me just as the lightning struck down.

Lizz landed beside us. "You ok?" She asked. "Yeah. Just itches a little." I scratched my stomach. Then I cleared the storm and Sash laid unconscious by the stake. "Did it work?" Lizz asked. "Is she dead?" Quinn asked. "Yes, and no." I replied. "Aw man." Quinn frowned. "You're so dead, Quinn!" Casey ran up behind her and tackled her with a hug. "Ah! Hey! You're ok!" Quinn laughed and hugged her. "Getting out of that cage was painful." Casey rubbed her arms. Quinn chuckled. "Sorry." She shrugged. "I'll take this one to jail. See you at home?" Lizz asked. "Yeah! See ya." I waved and she walked over to Sash. "You actually did it! Thank you, Kat." Quinn smiled. I looked over at her and smiled back. "You're welcome. And by the way, you don't have to marry me. I can find another solution. I can't just force you into that." I sighed. "Are you insane?! I owe you everything! You're not getting rid of me so easily, kitty Kat." Quinn wrapped her arm around my waist and I smiled. "Thank you." I replied.
