Ella's POV
When we got home, I got a text from Mia. "Thank you." She said. I smiled at my phone and sent back a thumbs up. I was pulled away though, when I heard Connor slam his door. He stormed over to the front door to leave. "Where are you going?" I asked. "To surprise practice! Cause god forbid coach sends out a fucking schedule!" He groaned. "You play a sport?" I asked. His head snapped over at me, and he glared into my soul. "I've been playing basketball for three years, Ella. You've been to my games before." He spat. I just stared at him blankly. "Yes... I have... right." I looked away, and Connor groaned to himself. "Wait, basketball? Do you see the freshman team?" I asked. "Yes? Why?" He asked. "Do you know when their next game is?" I asked. Connor blinked at me a few times. "It's this Friday." He sighed. "Perfect! Babe! We're going to my brothers basketball game!" I yelled. Retro peeked her head out of our room. "Why would I do that? I send illusions of us to Connors games. I don't wanna go to Josh's." She groaned. "I hate you both." Connor spat. "Oh- sorry! I'm sure Santana doesn't send an illusion!" Retro shrugged. "Why would you say that?! Now I have to ask!" He groaned and left. "Please baby! It's not for him. It's for me!" I smiled. Retro groaned and sighed. "Fine, but you might want to prepare yourself for that situation." She said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You think the rest of your family is just as rude as you are? Nuh uh! We'll be sitting in those bleachers with your dad, Mia, and Lila." She explained. My eyes widened and I gulped. "Oh... right." I replied.

Retro and I sat down on the bleachers, and when Mia saw us, she immediately walked to the furthest seat away. I sighed and dropped my head. "Don't think about it too much. She never wants to sit with me either." Dad sat down on the other side of me. "Hi dad. Where's Lila?" I asked. "Oh! Ha! Funny story actually. She ran home after she saw your car in the parking lot." He explained. I groaned again and Retro patted my shoulder. "Hey, I'm actually really proud of you though. You're starting to really put in the effort. Not just with them, but when you saved me, and obviously in your relationship. It's nice to see you care so much." Dad admitted. "Thanks dad." I replied. Retro leaned her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. I huffed in annoyance, but didn't wake her. So dad and I sat there and watched Josh play for almost two hours. As the time went on, I wanted to kill myself. My head started to droop forward as I fell asleep from boredom. Every so often, my dad had to step on my foot to wake me back up. Towards the end of the game, Josh glanced up at the stands, and dad waved to him. He smiled at him, but his face fell instantly when he saw me, and was replaced with a look of confusion. I waved nervously, and he awkwardly waved back.

After the game, he came out to dads car looking confused. "What is she doing here?" He asked. "I came to watch your game." I smiled. "Why?" He asked, confused. "Because you're my brother and it's a nice thing to do?" I shrugged. Josh looked over at dad, who nodded at him. "She's serious." He approved. Josh looked back at me. "Ok. Well... thanks for coming, I guess." He walked to the car. "You're not going to dinner with the team?" Dad asked. "No. They picked that gross Italian place. I'd rather get a burger from the drive thru." Josh replied. "Ok. We'll pick some up on the way home. Ella, what do you want?" Dad asked. "Huh? Me?!" I shrieked. "Yeah. You want a burger?" He asked. I blinked a few times. "Am I coming over?" I asked. "Well you've only hit two out of three, and I can trap her there for you." He explained. "Uh... sure, I guess." I shrugged. "Great! See you at the house." Dad got in the car.

Retro went back to HQ, and I very nervously walked into mom's house. Dad, Josh, Mia, and Dany were on the couch, eating already. "Where is she?" I asked. "In her room. She doesn't know you're here yet, so hurry before she figures it out." Dad said. "Yeah, she knows how to escape through the window." Josh added. Dad raised an eyebrow at him, and he looked away nervously. I laughed a little and walked to Lila's room. When I knocked, she groaned. "I told you I don't want any!" She snapped. I knocked again, and I heard her get up. "Josh, that's not funny. Go away!" She spat. When she swung open the door, she gasped and froze. I smiled at her. "Hey Lila." I greeted her. She stared at me for a moment before she booked it for the window. I ran after her and jumped onto her back. "You're not going anywhere!" I shouted. "Get off me! You're heavy!" She wobbled around and then fell forward onto her bed. I laughed and jumped off of her. Then I closed her door and locked it.

"Oh come on! Not today!" She whined. "Yes today! Because you've been avoiding me for months!" I exclaimed. "Well yeah. That's what happens when you give your sister a heart attack!" She sat upright on her bed. "Lila, it's ok! I'm over it! And I forgive you!" I laughed. "I don't understand how! I don't deserve to be forgiven after what I said, and what I did." Lila groaned. "Oh well! See there's this thing called a pardon that superheroes can give to bad people for a second chance, and I'm giving mine to you." I smiled. She glared up at me. "Is this how you guilt me into being an Arrow?" She asked. I laughed. "No. I don't give a fuck whether you're an Arrow or not! I care that whether you're still my sister, because I want you to be." I replied. Lila just stared up at me for a moment. "I don't know, Ella." She dropped her head. I held out my hand to her and she glanced up at it. "Enough pouting. Come here." I wiggled my fingers. She just stared at my hand for a second, so I smacked her chin with it. "What the- ugh! Fine!" She grabbed my hand and stood up. I laughed and pulled her into a hug. Lila sighed into my shoulder and we pulled away. "You know, it's funny. You sound just like Zane when I talked to him about this." I admitted. "You talked to Zane?" She asked. "Yeah, but it didn't end so well. I'm glad this went better." I smiled. Lila huffed a laugh and shook her head. Then she stared at me for a minute. "I don't like Mia's girlfriend." She admitted. "Oh my god! I'm so glad you said it! Ok. Sit down. Fill me in." I pointed to the bed and we laughed.
