An Imposter

Riley's POV
We got back to Arrows HQ, and started rushing around. "Ok! Max, Connor, go refill our quivers. Addison, Dylan, go tell the rest of our parents what's going on. The rest of you, help me come up with something to pitch to the others." Retro ordered. The four of them ran off, and I walked over to Emma. "What's going on?" She asked. "It's a long story. Basically, all of their parents got turned into teenagers, and we're trying to fix it." I explained. She furrowed her brows in concern. "This is normal for you?" She asked. "Not really, but I'm trying to keep it together for them. I've already felt the pain of losing my parents, and they don't deserve it." I replied. Emma stood beside me and wrapped her hand around my shoulder. "We need to stop Pepper and Sawyer first! They hold all the keys to this spell! Without them, our parents will be freed!" Bailey exclaimed. "And how do we get rid of them? Killing isn't an option, Bailey." Retro snapped. "Why not? You know as well as I, that they're after our friends! Sky and Addy aren't safe as long as they're around! If taking them out is the way to keep my girlfriend safe, then so be it." Bailey spat. "No! Have you forgotten who my mother is? Death comes with a price. Revenge comes with a price. It always does, and there's no avoiding it. I know that better than any other mortal, and I won't let you pay it." Retro snapped back. Bailey huffed and looked back at Sky. "You agree with me, don't you babe?" She asked. Sky glanced to the side. "I don't know, Bails. Death is an extreme consequence for two kids that could be innocent." She answered. "Innocent?!" We all shrieked. "I'm just saying! You don't know why these kids are working for David and Henry. You don't know the contents of that spell, and you don't know what their true motives are." Sky explained. "Who's Henry?" I asked. Emma raised an eyebrow at my question, and squinted over at Sky. No one else heard me, and continued to question her. "There's no excuse for what they've done, Sky. Your mom's have been turned evil again! Surely that means something to you!" Bailey exclaimed. "I agree with you there, Bailey. They are not innocent. Regardless of their motives, they still committed this crime, and they will do their time as soon as we take them down." Retro added. "If you can take them down, you mean. They've already beaten you down several times!" Sky groaned.

Emma suddenly grabbed her gun and shot at Sky. She caught the bullet and gasped in shock. "What the-?! Babe!" I shrieked. "That's not your Gold Arrow." Emma snarled. "What?" I asked. "You should be more careful with who you bring home. Get away from her, now." Emma snapped. "What are you talking about?" Bailey asked. "You're right, Retro. She would care more about her own moms being changed. Especially given their background. Yet she somehow thinks these idiots are innocent. She also mentioned David and Henry, and from you've all learned, you haven't heard of a Henry yet, have you?" Emma asked. Retro and Ella were taken back, and Emma walked closer to Sky, still pointing the gun at her. "She also refuses to believe that you can win, even though all of you have made winning heroic battles your fucking personalities. She's also referring to us as 'you.' Sky has been a part of this team for longer than Bailey, and even Bailey says 'us' when referring to you all. So Sky would absolutely do the same!" She snapped, and my eyes widened in shock. "And if you need any more proof, then I have one question for you, Sky. What's my name?" Emma asked. Sky raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh come on! That's not fair! I can hardly remember your name half the time!" Bailey exclaimed. "That hurts, but fair enough. Better question then! What's your dead name?" Emma asked. Everyone went silent, while Sky's eyebrows shot up. They stared at each other for a moment. "Emma, stop this! You're being crazy!" Bailey exclaimed. "No I'm not, Bailey! You said you'd kill for Sky? Well I'd kill for Riley, and right now, I don't think that she's safe! If this really is Sky, then I will apologize, because I would never dare to offend her with her dead name, but I don't trust this person, and I'm willing to bet my life that it isn't Sky!" Emma spat. Bailey looked over at Sky, who sighed and dropped her head. "Damn. You got me with that one. Well done, Teen Bandit." Sky transformed back into Sawyer, and Bailey jumped back. Emma shot at him again, but he caught the bullet, and grabbed her by the neck. She dropped the gun, and clawed at her neck. "I'll take you up on that offer for your life though!" He smirked. "Emma!" I ran over to her, and Sawyer blasted me back into the table. Emma grabbed Sawyer's arm, and swung her feet up to his face. She smashed her heels into his eyes, and he dropped her. Emma immediately grabbed her gun and scrambled to get up and shoot him again. The bullets rang out towards him, but Sawyer bolted off to the balcony, and flew away. Emma groaned, and marched over to me. She held her hand out. "Are you ok?" She asked. My face grew warm, and I took her hand. She helped me up and brushed off my shoulders. "I'm fine. Thank you." I smiled.

"Thank you?! That was awesome! Teen Bandit has some moves!" Ella cheered and ran over to us. "I'm sorry I doubted you Emma." Bailey said. "It's ok, but you should be more worried about where your real girlfriend is." Emma replied. Bailey panicked and looked at Retro. "We have to get to the lab." Retro said. The boys came back with our arrows, and the other girls ran in behind them. As we refilled our quivers, Zephyr and Zane landed on the balcony. "Arrows! Bad news! Santana was actually Pepper! We don't know where the real one is, but we have Pepper locked up." Zane explained. "The same thing just happened to us! Sky was actually Sawyer! He got away though." Retro replied. "Oh shit. Ok, are you ready to go? We need you to win your parents over if we're gonna stand any chance." Zephyr said. "Yeah. Let's go. We've waited long enough." Retro nodded. I hugged Emma and kissed her cheek. "Stay safe. I'll tell you everything later, I promise. I love you." I smiled. "I love you too. Be careful." Emma replied.

We all gathered in the lab, and Zephyr started explaining everything. "So, you think that if we cut off their power at the same time, we can stop the spell and free our parents?" Retro asked. "Yes. Lemmy even said we have a fifty-fifty chance of success, and what else do we have to lose? We can't go on like this forever." Zephyr explained. "It's been a day." I noted. "Ok well, what if it was your parents?" Zephyr snapped. I raised an eyebrow and she took a deep breath. "Sorry. This is just really stressful. Ok! We need you guys to talk to your parents, and we need someone to try and get something out of Pepper. Who wants to go first?" Zephyr asked. "I'll interrogate Pepper!" Lizz stepped up. "And I think Cleo and Riley should come with me. We're the only ones not affected by this, so maybe we can pry something out of her." Lizz explained. "Me?! Why am I being dragged in?" I whined. "Go with them, Ri. You could really help them." Retro agreed. I sighed and walked over to Lizz. "Great! And which Arrow wants to go first?" Zephyr asked. They all glanced at each other, until one of them sighed. "I'll go first." Connor stepped up. "Great. Come this way." Zephyr led us down the hall.
