Stay

Lizz's POV
Kat and Quinn avoided each other as much as possible while we waited. Quinn stayed in the basement, and Kat stayed over at Cleo's house with Santana and Blaire. Three days went by like this, before Charlie found a signal. "Lizz! Come look at this!" He called. I walked up to the computer table as he pulled up the footage. "An unauthorized space ship has landed in a park nearby. It looks like a Tublo ship, but the footage is a little blurry." He said. "I'll get Kara and we'll check it out. Call Kat and meet us there." I said, and he nodded.

Red Rover and I flew out to the ship, but no one came out of it. "Hello?" I yelled, but there was no answer. "What do we do now?" Kara asked, and I shrugged. Kat landed beside me, and our dads walked up behind us. "Definitely a Tublo ship." Charlie confirmed. "No one's coming out though." I said. "They're securing the ship. Give them a minute." Zed replied. So we just stood there and waited, until finally, the hatch opened, and a ferret stepped out. Smoke came out of the hatch, so we couldn't see them clearly, but we did see when they scanned over us. "Woah! What's that for?" Kara jumped. "They need to copy our life form and our language." Charlie explained. Then the Tublo shapeshifted into a human, and we saw that it was a woman. She had jet black hair with a red streak through it, and she wore a suit and tie. "Ew. You guys choose this form?" She asked. "Blaze?!" Charlie shrieked. "Hey brother." She smirked. "Woah woah woah! Why are you the one checking my kids?" He snapped. "Well, since the little shits refuse to come to the moon, I figured I needed to meet them somehow! Plus, then I can lie and say that they're married even if they aren't. Like I'm gonna let my nieces get killed." She laughed. Kat and I glared back at dad, and his jaw dropped. "I didn't know it'd be her! Don't glare at me!" He yelled. "So you're our aunt Blaze?" Kat asked. She nodded. "It's nice to meet you both. You must be Kat, and you're Lizz?" She pointed at us and we nodded. "Yes! I got it right!" She cheered. "Blaze. You can't park here." Zed told her. "Oh. Sorry. I wasn't driving. Hey! Get out here!" Blaze kicked the ship. Another ferret came out, and transformed. She was younger than me and Kat, and had completely red hair. It was like looking at a stop sign. "Mom! You can't drag me to this trash planet and then yell at me!" She yelled. "Ritz, meet your family." Blaze gestured to us. Ritz glanced over at us, and then transformed back, and walked back into the ship. "She's having a bad day." Blaze smiled nervously. The hatch slammed shut on the ship, and Blaze sighed. "Let's just go." She groaned.

We got home and Blaze was dumbfounded. "You actually made them get married?" She asked. "I didn't think you would be the person coming to check!" Charlie groaned. "It's always the head guards duty, Charlie! Plus, they live like humans! I know that's not how humans do things. I wouldn't have made them do that!" She exclaimed. "I'm happy being married to Lizz." Kara noted, and I smiled. "Well that's good for you. If you don't mind, I'm trying to yell at your dad." Blaze huffed. Zed pulled Kara and I away from them. "Just let them bicker. Strangely, I think they enjoy it." He admitted. "I enjoy yelling at Santana." Kara replied. "I've noticed. Anyway! This is a good thing. I mean, I know you two are happy together, but at least now Kat can cut ties with that dog that she's seeing." He smiled. "Dad, stop. Quinn and Kat like each other. They're just really bad at this. You can't hate Quinn so much. She and Kat need time to work things out." I snapped. Zed sighed. "You are your father, and I hate it." He groaned. "That was your choice! Sucks to be you!" I smirked.

Kat's POV
I walked into my room and found Quinn on her phone. "Hey! Good news. The guard that they sent to check us was actually my aunt, and she was going to just lie for us anyway. So we can cut the ribbon now." I smiled, crookedly. Quinn froze and turned off her phone. "You want to do it now?" She asked, slowly. She put the phone down and stood to face me. I walked to her. "Well you never wanted this. You said it yourself! You can have everything you wanted, or you can have me. Why choose the latter?" I huffed a laugh and looked down. Quinn furrowed her brow. "I misspoke." She said. I raised an eyebrow at her. "I could have everything I was supposed to want, or I could have you. I told you though, when we first met, that I wasn't up for this life. What makes you think I'd leave you now?" She asked. My eyes widened. "Quinn, I'm staying here. I'm never going back to Earth thirty two. You'd leave your father, your friends, all of it behind! I can't let you do that!" I exclaimed. "My father? The one that doesn't think I'll ever be good enough? I love him, yes, but the feeling isn't mutual. I can live knowing that I saved him at least once." She snapped back. "And your friends? Casey and Cory?" I asked. She sighed. "Well... the other me said that her Casey and Cory died. I don't see why I couldn't bring my own versions here." She shrugged. I just blinked at her in confusion. "I don't understand. Why? Why would you do this for me? You made it very clear that I was just a pawn in your game, and that once this transaction was over, you would leave." I explained. She looked up at me and took a deep breath. "And that was the plan, but I guess I'm a fake, then. I failed... because I can't picture going through my life now without you in it. I... I want to be with you, Kat." She admitted. My eyebrows shot up and I took a deep breath. "But if you want me to go, I will." She shrugged. "No! No, I don't want you to go. I want you to stay. Please, stay." I begged. Quinn smiled and I hugged her. She wrapped her arms around me tightly. "I'll find you and your friends a place to stay, and we can make this work!" I smiled. "I know we will." Quinn replied. I pulled back from her. "Will you help me tell my dad that I'm staying here?" I asked. She smirked. "Depends. What's in it for me?" She raised an eyebrow. I chuckled. "Do this for me, and I'll give you one favor where I can't say no." I said. Quinn laughed. "Sure. I'll help." She agreed.

Zed was ready to leave, and I was terrified to tell him the truth. "Kat! Finally! Let's get out of here." He smiled. I took a deep breath and exhaled. "Dad. I'm not going with you." I said. His eyebrows shot up. "What?" He asked. "I can't keep switching worlds all the time. It's too hard! I want to be with my friends! With Lizz! I want to have a real life! I want to go to school! It's become too stressful, and I'm so sorry that I'm only telling you now, but I just thought that you'd be so upset. I don't want to leave you dad, and I understand that the people you love are there so you have to stay... but you're the only person that I love there, and I can't stay anymore." I explained. Quinn put her hand on my shoulder and I put my hand over hers. Zed just stared at me the whole time and then sighed heavily. "I'm sorry I made it so hard for you. I know that the way you've been living is awful, but I just didn't want to be away from both of my kids. But you're not around much anymore, anyways. It hurts to have you leave, but I can't blame you. It's ok, Kat. Thank you for telling me." He smiled. I walked over to him and hugged him. "Thanks for understanding, dad." I mumbled. "Hey! You staying with our family?" He asked Quinn. She was stunned. "Uh... yeah." She nodded. "Then come here." He waved her over. She walked up to us. "I can't be here all the time, so you're going to protect her. I have eyes everywhere, dog. So don't try anything." He snapped. "Dad." I huffed. "Yes sir." Quinn nodded. "What? She got it." Zed shrugged and opened a portal. Then he waved goodbye and left. "Ok! What do I owe you?" I laughed. Quinn smiled and stepped closer. "Just don't back out." She pulled me down to her and kissed me. I smiled against her lips. "That was a bad use for the favor. You could have just asked." I kissed her again.
