Kara's POV
"Lemmy, Cal said we had time. Why did she lie?" I asked. Lemmy raised an eyebrow at me, and just stared at me. "You really don't speak?" I asked. She sighed. "How much time did you want? You had most of the summer and a month into the school year." She huffed. I glared at her and she just shrugged. Then she pointed back to the cells, and I joined the others.
"Babe! There you are. You gotta see this. It's... weirdly entertaining." Lizz chuckled. I looked over at my young parents. "Are we in your lab?" Aurelia asked. "I think so, but I don't know who they are." Apollo gestured to us. "Ugh! Gabe! Who are they?" Aurelia asked. "What? You think I can just scan over anyone and tell you who they are?!" Gabe snapped. "You're a computer aren't you? What good is a machine that can't do its job?" She spat. "Why you little-" Gabe pounced on her, but Arc grabbed him and pulled him back. "Will you two stop fighting for like ten seconds? We're in a cell! Who knows what we could have done wrong!?" August groaned. "Nah, don't listen to him. Keep going. My money's on Aura." Lydia snickered. "Who are you people? What the hell am I doing here?" Lea asked. "I'm Apollo, and you're in my basement!" She smiled, and Lea took a step back. "Heather, don't say it like that. It's creepy. None of us know why we're here, but I'm Aurelia. You'll be safe with us." Mom replied. "Are you a superhero too? Cool sword!" Lydia admired her. "Uh, yeah. I go by Lightning, but my name is Lea." She introduced herself. "Awesome! I'm Lydia." They shook hands. "So who are you people? And why are you in our basement?" Arc looked over at us. We all looked at Zephyr. "Should we tell them?" We asked. "Uh... I guess? It's not like we have to keep our identities a secret from them." She shrugged. "Maybe this would be easier going one on one." Zane suggested. "That's a great idea! Lizz, can you put our dads into the empty cell?" Zephyr asked. "Sure." Lizz smiled and held out her hand. "Your dad?" Arc got confused, only to then get teleported into the other cell with Gabe. "I'm your dad?!" He shrieked, and I couldn't help but laugh a little. "I'll wait till Santana gets back to talk to my moms." I said. "Ok. Wish us luck." Zephyr sighed. "Good luck." Lizz and I said.
Lizz fogged all the glass doors, so that we could see in, but our parents couldn't see out of them. Then we watched Zephyr and Zane talk to their dads. "My name is Zephyr, and this is my brother Zane. We're your children." She said. "Not what I would have started with." Lizz noted. "That's impossible! We're two teenage guys! Who do you take me for?" Gabe laughed at her. Zane pulled out his phone and showed them a picture of themselves. The boys were taken back. "What the fuck?" Arc asked. "There was an evil spell that turned you all back into teenagers, but we're trying our hardest to fix it." Zane explained. As Gabe and Arc stared in confusion, Lizz turned to me. "I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how hard this is." She said. I looked up at her, and then at my moms across the hall. Then I sighed heavily, and turned back to Lizz. "I just hope they'll be ok." I mumbled. Lizz stepped to me and hugged me. "We'll get them back. I promise." She replied. "We better! I'd hate to have them disappear before we have a real wedding." I smirked. Lizz laughed and leaned down to me. "It's ok to be sad, you know?" She assured me. My smile twitched, and I shook my head. "I'm ok. It's ok." I shrugged. Lizz sighed and we looked back into the cell. "So, you need our help?" Gabe asked. "It wouldn't hurt." Zephyr smiled nervously. "You can't seriously believe them." Arc huffed. Gabe stared at them for a moment. "I don't know... I don't know." He shrugged. "We'll let you think about it." Zephyr replied, and they walked out.
Santana's POV
As The Arrows looked inside the mall, we all searched around it for any sign of where Zill went. "How could she have escaped?" I asked. "It's Zill. It takes a lot to tear that woman down." Blaire replied. "There aren't any traces of her magic around here. She's gone!" Kat groaned. "Well duh. Why would she be here? If I woke up next to a bunch of strangers, with no memories at all, I'd just run back home." Cleo said. We all looked at each other, and then her. "What?" She asked. "You're a genius! Let's check her warehouse!" I smiled. "A very stupid genius." Blaire smirked. Cleo rolled her eyes and jumped onto her hover board. "Lead the way, Radar." She said, and we all followed Kat.
Kara told me once, about coming to Zill's warehouse with mom, but I never went. Being here now is unnerving. It's like nothing has changed in thirty years. Kat led us in, and our eyes flickered all around the room. It was the middle of the day, and the sunlight lit the place perfectly, but we knew she was here. We could feel her eyes on us, and it was terrifying. "Come on out, Zill! We know you're here." Kat announced. Her voice echoed around us. "We just wanna talk! I know you're confused, but we can help! We can explain everything." I added. A chair fell over behind us, and we all jumped. Zill stood there, leaning against her desk, watching us. "I'm listening." She said, and we gulped. "There was a spell cast over you, and the people you woke up next to. They changed you back into teenagers, but you're not! You're an adult. You have a wife and a daughter, and we can help you get back to normal, but you have to come with us." I explained. Zill just blinked at me. "You heroes just get worse at this. I mean, really? A wife? And a daughter?! I'd be a horrible mother!" She blasted at us, and Kat put up a force field. "Ok. Time for plan B." Blaire ran out and casted a fireball at her. Zill teleported past her, and super-punched Kat's force field. It shattered around us, and Zill tackled Kat to the ground. Cleo didn't hesitate to electrocute her, making Zill fly up to the ceiling. "Sit down, you dog!" She held out her hand, and Cleo was flung across the room. She landed in a cage that Zill locked immediately. "Seriously?! You did not just cage me!" Cleo groaned. "Hang in there, sparky!" Blaire replied, and we all flew up after Zill. "Don't do this! Gold is waiting for you!" I shouted. "Gold?! You think I give a damn what that lovestruck idiot thinks of me?!" She snapped. Kat teleported behind her, in her ferret form, and landed on her shoulder. "Don't try to fool us. We all know you were in love with her at this age." She smirked. "What the-?!" Zill grabbed Kat by the neck and chucked her down, right towards the vat of Cytozine. "No!" Blaire caught her with the wind, and placed her down on the ground.
"Oh? You're one of those aliens, aren't you?" Zill chuckled. "Oh shit." I huffed. Zill teleported down to her desk and picked up a quiver of Cytozine arrows. "Time to see why Gold likes this so much." She created a bow and started shooting at Kat. I shot down every arrow with a fireball, and Blaire struck a lightning bolt down at Zill. Kat changed back to her human form, and ran over to Cleo, but before she got there, Zill teleported right in front of her and stabbed her with the Cytozine arrow. Kat screamed out in pain, and we bolted to her side. Cleo stuck her staff through the bars of the cage and electrocuted Zill again. I quickly created a power cuff and slapped it on Zill's wrist as we got up to her. Blaire bent down to Kat, while Zill snapped her head over at me. "You think I need my powers to destroy you? I scanned over your magic, ya know? You're the same as me, and if I can kill her, then I can kill you too." She pulled back another arrow. Cleo reached through the bars again and whacked Zill in the head with her stick. "Ow! What the fuck?!" She dropped the bow and I blasted it away from us. Then Cleo swung the staff around Zill's neck, and slammed her back against the wall of the cage, holding her there. Zill tried to pull it away, but Cleo wouldn't let up. "Stop, Zill! This is what you wanted at this age, isn't it? To have your powers taken away?" I asked. She kept wiggling against the stick. "Only if it's real! Only if it's gone for good! This stupid cuff isn't permanent! I'm a monster as long as the magic is in my genes." She groaned. "No. You're not. Your power is gone right now, Zill. If you still feel like a monster, then your power was never the problem." I told her. She slowly stopped moving and raised an eyebrow at me. "Your father was the problem, and if you keep acting like this, I'm sure he'd be proud to call you his, but that's not what you want, is it? What I said before is true, Zill, so I can tell you how it ends. You defeated your father, and he is dead, and more than that, your mother is alive! And from what I understand, you have a pretty great relationship." I explained. Her eyes softened. "Who are you?" She asked. "I'm Talon. Daughter of Paws and Aethra, and you're coming with us." I replied.
