Blaire's POV
Santana insisted that I go home, and I really didn't want to. So much so, that I refused to get out of the car when we pulled up. Max had to pick me up bridal style and carry me to the front door. He struggled to open the door with his foot, and I couldn't help but giggle slightly at his failed attempts. Finally, he got it open, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Maxy, don't make me do this. Just bring me back to Arrows HQ. I'm sure we can find a better way to... pass the time?" I smirked and kissed his neck. "Heh- not gonna work, Blaire. You need to talk to your moms. As much as I'd love to 'spend time' with you, this is much more important." He said, and put me down gently. "Ugh! Why can't you be like every other teenage boy?!" I snapped. He laughed. "Because I love you, Blaire." He smiled. I took a deep breath and smiled back. "I love you too... wait did you say my moms? Like, both of them?" I asked. He nodded, took my hand, and pulled me inside.
There on the couch, both of my parents were sitting, waiting for me. "Hi Blaire." Lydia smiled at me. My eyes widened in horror and my heart started pounding in my chest. "What's going on?" I asked, my voice hardly above a whisper. "Sit down." Lea gestured to the recliner, and Max shoved me over to it. He had to tip me over to get me into the chair, since my feet refused to move. Once I sat down, I leaned forward to listen to them. "We are so sorry that we hurt you with our arguments. We never wanted to make you cry." Lydia said. "Then why do I feel like you're still leaving?" I asked, nervously. Lydia looked at Lea and they intertwined their hands. "We're not splitting. I love your mom, regardless of how stupid she can be sometimes." Lea said. "You don't have to worry about us, Blaire. We actually need you to worry about where you'll be staying for the next couple months." Lydia explained. "What? Where are you going?!" I shrieked. "Relax! We'll be back! I was chosen to host Super-Con this year, and Lea is coming with me as my new assistant. It's being held in Oklahoma this year, and we have to leave in two weeks to start the setup." Lydia explained. "Wait... you quit?" I asked. Lea smiled. "Yeah, so don't be surprised if we move to a smaller house soon." She replied. I smiled and my eyes started to water. "I don't care about that! You're not leaving!" I cheered. I ran over to them and hugged them. They laughed as they hugged me back. "We're never gonna leave you, Blaire." Lea replied.
"Now, do you have something you'd like to tell us?" Lydia asked. I pulled back, confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I was told that Santana would be bringing you in." She pointed at Max. "Oh! Aha- mom's, you know Max. The Lime Arrow." I introduced him. "Yes. Little Lime. We're aware of that." Lea nodded. "Uh huh. Well, he's my boyfriend." I admitted. "I am?! Officially?!" Max exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and turned to him. "Yes, idiot. Come here." I ordered, and he happily trotted over. Lydia and Lea stood up, and Max nervously shook their hands. "So, would you rather stay with him or with Santana? Apollo doesn't mind, and I know that isn't up to your parents. It's up to your leader." Lydia said, and Max nodded. "Retro doesn't care. Oh my god, Retro! I have to get back to HQ! Riley's been kidnapped!" Max exclaimed. "What?!" We yelled. "Will you come with me?" Max asked me. I looked at my parents and they nodded. "Go!" They yelled. I threw Max over my shoulder, and bolted off to Arrows HQ.
We landed on the balcony, and ran inside. "Anything new?" Max asked. Ella ran up to us. "Retro and Dylan have been freaking out for hours now. They can't trace anything from the letter. Connor brought Santana here a few minutes ago. Now they're asking the police station for any camera footage that might have seen her, but I don't think it'll be that easy. Whoever took her, knew exactly what they were doing. They knew she was an Arrow. They knew where she would be and the exact time that would be perfect to take her. All we can do now is pray that she's still alive, and that we can find her in time." Ella explained. "Pray? What good will praying do?! We need to go find her!" Max exclaimed. "Max, stop. There's nothing we can do." I grabbed his shoulder. "You think we should just do nothing?!" He shouted. "No! But I know who can help us. The Fates." I said. "Retro already asked. They said no." Ella replied. "They said no to Retro, but I know someone they might tell. Keep up the search, and I'll be back as soon as I can." I promised, and flew off the balcony again.
"Cleo! Open up!" I banged on her door. When she finally opened up, she looked like hell. Her fur was jagged and her shirt was torn. Her pants were falling off of her waist and there was a brush literally stuck in her tail. "I'm busy! What do you want?!" She snapped. "The Black Arrow has been kidnapped, and now she's missing." I said. Her eyes widened and she glanced back into the house for a second. "Come in, but keep quiet. My mom is home, and she doesn't know any of this." She explained. I nodded and she led me to her room.
I watched as she struggled to brush her fur. "What makes you think that those wannabe goddesses will listen to me?" She asked. "Because you're clearly one of their favorites. Surely one of them likes you." I said. "Yeah. Alex won't stop calling me. I don't even know how she got my number." Cleo replied. "Because she's a god!" I huffed. Cleo rolled her eyes and yanked the brush out of her tail. She yelped and dropped it. Then she brushed over her tail with her hand. "I know it sounds crazy, but you have to believe us, Cleo. And if you still refuse to, then at least do it for Riley. One of our friends is missing. That can't mean nothing to you!" I snapped. Cleo's ears drooped down. "Of course not, but is me believing in this silly bullshit really going to help her?" She asked. "There's no harm in trying." I shrugged. Cleo sighed and then groaned to herself. "Fine! I'll do it." She agreed. As she reached for her phone, it rang and she huffed as she answered it. "Hello Alex." She said. I smiled at her and Cleo rolled her eyes. "Yeah! I apparently have to meet you. Let's see if you can convince me, shall we? How's two sound?" She asked. There was a short silence. "Of course you had it planned already. Ok! See you then." Cleo hung up. "Thank you, Cleo. I owe you one." I said. "Nah. Just send my sorrow to Zephyr, will you? I heard Gypsy still hasn't woken up." She said. I nodded. "Will do. Bye Cleo." I waved as I left. "Bye, Blaire." She replied.
