Cleo's POV
"Turn. Off. Now." I smashed my alarm clock. It fell off my nightstand and I got up to stretch. Today is my annual family reunion. Claire is bringing her partner, and I'm bringing Alex. I just hate that I have to wake up so early for this. I got dressed, brushed my hair, and walked out of my room. "Where are you going?" Claire asked. "To get Alex?" I said confused. "You gonna brush your tail? Or your teeth? You know, you could at least try to make a good impression." She said. "Oh yeah, because you make such an outstanding impression. You can take that attitude and shove it up your ass." I said. "Oh yes. That's so original." She smirked. I rolled my eyes. "Shut up." I grumbled.

I got Alex and now we're heading to my moms house. "Hey mom" I opened the door. "Hey Cleo, hey Alex" Brittany greeted. "Where's Claire?" I asked. "She's picking up Marley, but she'll be here soon" Khloe said. The door opened and Khloe ran over to jump on her sister. "I win bitch!" She yelled. "Fuck you! I wasn't even in the house yet!" Caroline yelled. "Our moms are insane" Taylor walked to me. I nodded in agreement.

Claire is on her way now. Its been an hour and I don't know why it took her so long. Khloe left to get grandma and grandpa from the airport. I heard the door open. "Aren't you gonna say hi to your sister?" Mom asked. I groaned and got up. I live with her. Why do I have to say hi to her? "Hi Claire" I walked up to her. "Hey. This is Marley. Marley this is Cleo" she introduced us. Marley is just as tall as Claire. They make me feel like a midget. "Hi" Marley greeted. I shook their hand. I don't know if this is awkward because I don't like Marley or if its cause I don't like Claire. Either way its awkward. Claire gave me a weird look and then walked past me to introduce Marley. I sighed and walked outside for some air.

I leaned against the railing of the porch. Alex came out and stood next to me. "You left me in there" she said. I sighed. "I'm sorry baby. I just didn't wanna be in there anymore" I said. "You don't even want to get to know Marley?" She asked. "I didn't want to get to know Claire" I said. She leaned her head on my shoulder. "You should really try to love your sister more" she said. "Yeah well I'm not you" I snapped. Alex was stunned at my words and took a step back. I looked over in a panic. "Alex, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to" I said. She just stared at me for a minute before she went inside.

Claire's POV
"Where'd your sister go?" Marley asked. I looked around but didn't see her. I saw Alex walk in from the front door. "Hey Alex, is Cleo out there?" I asked. "Yeah she is" Alex said sadly. I raised an eyebrow at her tone. "Give me a second Mar." I said. I walked outside.

Cleo looked over at me but then turned away. "You're missing everything. Grandma and grandpa are here" I said. "I know. I said hi when they walked in" she said. "So what happened with Alex?" I asked. "Why do you wanna know? So you can gloat?" she asked. "Why would I do that?" I asked. "Why else would you care?" she asked. "Ok what the fuck" I said. She looked over at me. "You've been acting like this for days now and I don't understand what I did to you that's so bad" I snapped. A low growl came from her throat. "You're just gonna growl at me?" I asked. "You got me kicked out!" She barked. "What?" I asked confused. "You just had to go out with Marley and leave me at home again when you know I didn't have a car at the time." She said. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "You treat me like a child! Saying I cant go anywhere or do anything! And worst of all, when I needed you, you weren't there" she snarled. I looked at her confused. "I got kicked from the dance team because of you" she said. "You couldn't have gotten anyone else to take you?" I asked. "They wouldn't make it in time because we live so far" she said. "In time?" I asked confused. "I was gonna be in front that night. I had finally made it to the top and what did you do? Nothing. You ditched me, and then I got booted." She snapped. "Oh yeah, because I knew that!" I yelled sarcastically. She huffed and looked away. "Look. You can be mad at me all you want, but you need to go in there and talk to your girlfriend." I said. She exhaled deeply and walked inside.

Khloe's POV
When the girls came in, they looked more bitter than ever. Cleo has been talking to Alex for a while now. Claire's been talking to everyone. They just seem to be avoiding each other. "Hey squirt" My dad walked to me. "Hey dad" I said. "Whatcha doin?" he asked. "What does mom want?" I asked. He laughed. "Well she saw that you looked uneasy and wanted to check on ya" he said. "I'm fine, but I'm afraid that the girls aren't" I said. "Well what's wrong?" He asked. "I don't know but I think that something went down outside and now they're not speaking" I said. "You should talk to them. They'll listen to you wont they?" He said. I huffed. "Maybe." I shrugged.

"Honey come here for a sec" I said. I pulled Britt into the laundry room and locked the door. "Babe is right now really the best time to mess around in here?" she asked. "That's not why we're in here" I said. "Ok, then why are we in here?" she asked. "I need you to talk to Cleo about Claire" I said. "I noticed that they were distant, but why do I have to talk to Cleo? I'm gonna get hit with her stick and I've already been hit with your stick and I really don't want it to happen again" she whined. "That was an accident and I need you to do it because Cleo takes after me and Claire takes after you, so she needs to talk to someone who thinks like Claire" I said. She sighed. "Ok but if I get hit you owe me" she said. "Deal" I said.

"Hey Claire, come here real quick" I said. We walked into the dining room. "What's up mom?" she asked. "What happened with you and Cleo?" I asked. She sighed. "I accidentally got Cleo kicked from her dance thing" she said. My eyes widened. "You did what?" I exclaimed. "She couldn't drive at the time and when she went to ask me to drive her there, I left to go be with Marley" she said. "So you didn't know and now she's mad at you?" I asked. She nodded. "Damn uh... you need to talk to her" I said. "I did, it didn't go so well" she crossed her arms. "Then maybe you should just make it up to her" I said. "How?" She asked. "By getting her what she wants" I shrugged.

Brittany POV
"Hey Cleo" I greeted. She's in the living room on her phone. "Hi mom" she said. "Where's Alex?" I asked. "In the bathroom" she answered. "Ok well, can we talk?" I asked. She sighed. "I'm not talking to Claire" she said. "I know. I'm not here for that. I just wanna know what happened?" I asked. She sighed and started explaining in great detail, everything that had happened. "So Claire didn't take you because you didn't tell her in time?" I asked. She nodded. "Well that's your fault" I said. "What?" She said. I can see her stick in her hand. It's making me anxious. "You should have told her in advance" I said. "Oh sorry! For once I actually wanted to surprise my sister!" she exclaimed sarcastically. "Cleo she's your sister. You have to forgive her at some point" I said. "I know, but I don't want her to keep treating me like a child" she growled. "She does that to protect you" I said. "I know, but I don't want her to!" she said. "You should feel lucky to have a sister. I would do anything for a family that loves me like your mothers family. You should be happy for your sister even if she sucks" I snapped. She shrunk from my words. I sighed. "I'm sorry." I looked down. "It's ok. You're right. I'm sorry." Cleo said.

Cleo's POV
After I took Alex home, I went to find Claire. "Claire! Are you home?!" I yelled. "Yeah!" She came out of the bathroom. "I thought you were gonna stay at Alex's" she said. "I was, but I need to talk to you" I said. "Ok" she said. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you, and I should have told you in advance that I needed you" I looked down. "Its ok. I'm sorry that I didn't hear you out when I left" she said. We smiled at each other. "I actually did something for you a few minutes ago" she said. "What did you do?" I asked. She handed me a paper. "We welcome you to the Dance Academy for Young Performers" I read aloud. My eyes widened and she smiled. "Wait but how did you-?" I asked shocked. "I felt bad so I found a different dance studio and got you in. I used your old transcript but it still worked" she shrugged. I smiled wide. "Thank you!" I yelled. She laughed. "Don't thank me yet. You can thank me when you're a professional dancer" she said. She walked to her room and I smiled as she closed the door.
