Rolling around on his bed, kicking his sheets and digging his face into his pillow, Yunho suddenly rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling.

'Fuck.'

His mind was ablaze with image after image of Mingi's supple, dainty lips, and the earth shattering sensation of them pressed against his own.

The thought made his heart beat hard in his chest, and his ears burn with the pulse that thudded within them. His stomach twisted into the shape of a million little butterflies that threatened to carry him away, and he felt his lungs burning for air; barely able to breath through the nerves.

It didn't matter whether his eyes were open or closed. Either way, he still saw every individual dark eyelash shading those sparkling brown irises... He still saw the soft wash of crimson across his lips...  And despite having showered twice as long as usual and scrubbed himself until his skin hurt, he still smelled strongly of Mingi's sweet scent, having seeped deep into his skin.

His lips still tingled where they had touched Mingi's, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake the feeling of floating on air...

My first kiss...

Gently lifting his fingertips to his lips, he brushed them across them and wondered how it could feel so different. His fingers felt nothing like Mingi's lips, and no matter how gently he touched, they did not encourage the same explosion of emotions and colours...

Closing his eyes, he felt his heart fluttering in his chest...

But the more he thought about what it felt like to kiss him - how much mystical bliss had filled him when their lips had pressed together - the more a deep rooted confusion and panic began to rise within him. And before he knew it, he was overwhelmed with uncertainty eating away at him.

'Fuck.'

Mingi was a guy. He had kissed a guy.

His heart was beating hard, fluttering in his chest, and his lips were flushed and tingling... He hadn't hated it... It had actually been kind of nice...

But it was a snake that was swallowing its own tail, and the moment he started to think that maybe, just maybe, he'd actually liked it, the voice inside his head emerged, reminding once more that if he had liked kissing another man, then there were other questions that suddenly needed to be addressed.

And Yunho wasn't ready to think about that yet.

Rolling around in his bed in frustration, he dug his head into his pillow and groaned. But as he did, the pillow jutted into his neck and he suddenly winced. He had almost forgotten that he'd had the damn thing at all. He'd been so wound up in his own butterflies and heart flutters, that his oxytocin-flooded body had put it at the bottom of his priority list.

But now that he had been painfully reminded of its presence, naturally, he began to remember the feeling of Mingi leaning in before him, redressing his wound. He could see the way that soft skin looked under the weak kitchen light, and he could see that almost beautiful, concerned expression on his face...

He could also feel his own skin still burning where Mingi's gentle fingertips had rested against his skin, ever-so-carefully pressing against him...
