'Can you see them?'
Yunho glanced at Mingi beside him and felt his heart flutter as he did. Having arrived at the theatre, there were a lot of people standing around waiting to go inside, and as Mingi wove his arm into his so they wouldn't get separated, he felt his skin prickle.
Completely distracted for what had not been the first time that morning, he stared at Mingi. For the first time ever, the brunette was wearing his ring, bracelet, necklace and the sparkling stud in his ear, despite being at uni. He wasn't used to seeing him with them on at uni, but it made him feel things...
Mingi's free arm cradled a bouquet of flowers for San's graduation, although his hand came to rest on Yunho's arm also, and dear god, the way he was so gentle and calm and soft and just Mingi... Oblivious to his own charm...
It made Yunho feel privileged to be the one standing beside him in amongst all of these people.
'Oh, there they are,' Mingi breathed, squeezing his arm a little and nodding at a place across the small courtyard.
Yunho felt bad, for he had been too distracted to have even looked.
Being led through the crowd, a small group of three people finally came into his view that he recognised; Hongjoong, Yeosang and Wooyoung, all standing huddled together, flowers in Hongjoong's arms, and a single red rose in Wooyoung's.
But out of the three, the first thing he noticed, was how much more put together Yeosang looked than the last time he'd seen him.
A week ago, finding the blonde literally collapsed on the street balling his eyes out was the last thing he'd expected once he'd finished work, and it was absolutely not something he'd been prepared for, or even knew how to deal with. He'd been so incredibly wrecked, that Yunho had wondered whether he'd been given news of a death in the family.
Of course, later on when he had learned that his partner had cheated on him, things began to make a little more sense. If anything, it had taught Yunho just how invested one could become in a relationship... How big of a role it played in one's life. Of course he'd known that before, but perhaps he'd just not felt the weight of what that meant, until he'd found Yeosang balling his eyes out on the street.
But a week later, standing beside his family with his hands in his pockets and his brother's arm woven through his, just like Mingi's was looped through his...
He looked happier. Maybe he didn't look perfectly okay, but he was smiling, even laughing gently at something Hongjoong was saying... He was certainly a long way from the tiny, broken thing he had held gently in his arms as he cried tears of emotional blood.
Staring at the three as they made their way over, Wooyoung suddenly turned around, and as their eyes accidentally met, Yunho startled a little in surprise. But the blonde's lips pulled into a smile as he waved. And as Wooyoung's eyes slipped from his to Mingi's, he pulled his Hyung's attention by tugging on their coats and pointing.
And as they made it to the little huddled group, Mingi gasped, looking Wooyoung up and down. 'Oh wow, you dressed up~! Look at you~! You look hot!'
'Thank you~' Wooyoung gasped, curtsying a little. 'I'm glad you like it. Sannie complained that it would make people stare,' he said, pouting.
And it was only at that point that Yunho realised, he hadn't even registered what anyone was wearing... Anyone except Mingi...
For some reason, from the moment he had felt Min's hand on his back in the library, he was acutely aware of every part of him. Right from the dark rimmed glasses upon his nose, down past his dark red turtleneck to his boots, he had picked up on every single detail...
