~~~Sitting at the bar, San stirred his martini and tried diligently to ignore the weirdo sitting beside him. Head spinning from the alcohol, far passed tipsy, and exhausted from dancing all night, his friends had all gone home, which he could barely wait to do also.
But as drunk and tired as he was, San wasn't sure whether he'd be even able to walk straight, let alone deal with harassing strangers...
'Hey baby. That's a dangerous looking drink you've got there~.'
San internally groaned, trying his absolute best to fight through the drunken urge to roll his eyes grandiosely and poke his tongue out at him. The man was at least ten years older than him, and he wasn't even good looking. Not a single smooth pick up line or conversation starter would ever make him give the man a second look.
'Why don't I buy you another one, hmm? What do you say, gorgeous?'
Wanting to groan, San tried to hold onto his sense of acceptable behaviours. Glancing up, he shook his head. 'No thank you. My boyfriend won't like that.'
He'd hoped that by some miracle, it would have been enough to get him to back off. But alas, as per the stingy fuckboy code, the guy just laughed it off, leaning closer. 'I thought girls were the only ones to use that excuse.'
'It wasn't an excuse,' San retorted, turning back to face the front. Stirring the last of his martini, he picked it up and downed it in frustration.
'Aww baby, don't be shy now.' Scooting over, he reached out to brush the back of his finger down his arm, making San's heart suddenly leap up into his throat with revulsion. Suddenly, he wished he'd made an effort to look more manly for the evening.
However just as he pulled his arm away, almost toppling over as he did, a sudden pair of strong, familiar, comforting hands, snaked their way around his waist, turning him around on his barstool while a knee separated his thighs to allow them to stand between his legs. Lips coming down on his, San felt relief wash over him as he let himself melt into the safety of his embrace...
San immediately weaved his hands around his waist, pulling him closer, and through his intoxicated daze, he felt like giggling at the odd way it felt to have his tongue in his mouth, delving deep to swirl with his own and nip at his lips...
'Min-ah,' he breathed, the moment they parted and their foreheads rested together.
'Did you miss me?'
'Yes. I don't like being by myself. Take me with you next time.'
Mingi gave him a tipsy smile, booping him on the nose. 'Yess boss.' Leaning forward as they swayed a little; courtesy of more than eight hours of drinking, Mingi re-connected their lips, licking from just below his bottom lip, up over it, delving into his mouth and then dragging up over his top teeth and the bow in his lip. He giggled a little as he did, his eyes blinking with a certain playfulness in them.
And then an awkward movement beside them caught San's attention, and that was when he remembered the stranger. He glanced out of the corner of his eye at the man, wearing quite a surprised and uncomfortable expression.
'This is my boyfriend, just FYI.'
'I see that... Sorry...' There was genuinity to his voice, but it was not enough to make San think of him as any less of a dick.
