Hongjoong walked into Yeosang's room to find him sitting in his window seat with one of Wooyoung's novels, all cozied up under a fluffy blanket. With a mug of coffee resting atop his knee, he looked peaceful, but he also looked pained.

'Sang, are you alright?'

The blonde looked up from his book and smiled as his eyes fell upon him. 'Yeah of course, why?'

Wandering over to his side, Hongjoong hopped up onto the window seat and sat down opposite him. 'I guess you look kind of...'

'Sad?'

He gave him a little bit of an apologetic nod.

But Yeosang seemed to brush it off. 'It's quiet without Woo around.'

'He's been gone like two seconds.'

'And yet I'm worrying.'

Hongjoong nibbled on his lips, thinking over his words and the meaning behind them...

'I had to really restrain myself from not giving San a massive spiel about taking care of him. I was literally this close to writing him a list,' Yeosang said, holding his fingers up to show just how close that was.

And Hongjoong laughed softly. 'I know. I told San to call if anything happens. That was about as far as I let myself go.'

Yeosang nodded, smiling. 'They're adorable. I know it probably sounds stupid, but I think those two are going to be forever.'

Hongjoong felt exactly the same. 'It doesn't sound stupid. I think you're probably right...'

A few long quiet moments passed, before Yeosang put down his book and sat forward, still holding his coffee, but focussing on him. 'Joong-ah,' he said softly, and intently. 'I don't know how to let go of him...'

The pain was clear in his voice, and it melted Hongjoong's heart. 'Sang, he's not going anywhere. You don't have to let him go. Hun he's falling in love, and he's making a life, but he wants you in it. Him staying at his boyfriend's place doesn't mean goodbye.'

'B-but maybe I don't want to share him...' his voice was so small and guilty, that it was obvious that he'd been hoarding the thought around with him for a while...

'Babe you've been sharing him with me since you were born.'

'But you're different!'

'How?' He leant forward and squeezed his knees. 'Sang, we're no different. Just because he's dividing up his time differently, doesn't mean he's cutting anyone out- least of all, you. Sang, you don't have to let go of him. In fact, you have to hold on.'

A sparkle in his eyes dazzled Hongjoong, and as the blonde reached up and wiped at them with his sleeve, Hongjoong ached for him.

He shuffled around the window seat and let him lean into his side, putting his arm around him.

'I just miss him...'

Hongjoong felt his heart throb.

'I know, hun. He misses you too.'
