The moment Yeosang opened the door to the small café and saw Jongho standing there, his heart shattered. He felt like everything he'd come prepared to say was being washed away with just one glance... one glance at the man he'd fallen in love with... and one glance at the man who had not only broken his heart, but burned it from ashes to dust...

Taking perhaps the most crucial breath he'd ever taken to regain himself, he put on a brave face and crossed the café...

And the instant Jongho looked up at him- the instant their eyes met, incredible pain hit him like a brick wall. He saw those eyes gazing at the girl, and he saw those lips, kissing her...

'Sang-ah...'

Swallowing and keeping his chin up, he just nodded, not trusting himself to speak yet. Instead, he walked up to the counter and ordered the cheapest thing on the menu, having absolutely no intention of drinking it. He already felt sick...

Served his sparkling water on the spot, he thanked the lady and headed towards the most secluded table he could find...

And Jongho followed like a guilty looking dog who knew how badly they had screwed up.

Sitting down, Yeosang put the glass of water on the table between them. As they settled into their spots, Jongho put his wallet and phone down on the table, and as his phone started vibrating with a number of texts, followed by a call, Yeosang closed his eyes, sighing.

The younger cringed, looking between him and his phone, like there was a decision to be made...

And honestly, it pissed Yeosang off. 'Can you please turn your phone off, or something? This is important.'

Eyes widening, the younger suddenly nodded, quickly moving the device in his shaking hands, trying to hold the off button. It took an excruciatingly long amount of time, and it just made Yeosang feel worse.

'Sang... I'm so sorry. I have thought about what happened over and over again...'

'You mean advocating for a relationship you immediately disregarded, ignoring me, and then touching and kissing other people?' It wasn't really a question... More just him calling it as it was.

And Jongho seemed to cringe, stuttering around air for a few moments. 'I- well... when you say it like that-'

'That, is exactly what happened.'

'Yeosang I love our relationship, and I love being with you. I never ignored you. Never. But I know we're busy, and that we have been apart...'

Yeosang took a deep breath, feeling his heart ache. The excuses never ended... But all he could think about, was the way while Wooyoung had been in hospital for over a month, Hongjoong had spent every waking moment by his side, and Seonghwa - not even his boyfriend at that time-, had managed to see him every day, even if it was only for a few minutes in his break...

Life, happened. He understood that.

And perhaps for another person, it might have been viewed as valid reasoning for the events that had followed.

But it just wasn't in his eyes.

'Sang, I'm sorry about Luna. I shouldn't have kissed her, I know that.'

So she has a name...

He felt sick...

'Then why did you?' He didn't know why he'd asked. It wasn't going to make a difference.
