In the afternoon glow shining in on them, Yunho glanced across at Mingi as he noticed him go still. Hands still entwined and resting warmly atop Yunho's thigh, their sides were still touching all the way from shoulder to toe...

But as Mingi stilled, Yunho felt him lean more against him...

With Mingi's other hand rested heavily atop his laptop, beginning to type the letter j hundreds of times under his research article, Yunho glanced at his face...

And his breath left his lips instantly as he saw him peacefully resting with his eyes closed.

Very slowly, he felt Mingi collapsing into his side, like the slow lean of the Tower of Pisa.

But in contrast, as his lean became too much, suddenly, his head gently lulled into his shoulder.

Yunho held his breath; only his eyes moving as he found himself terrified to wake him...

But after a few long moment passed and Mingi's breath remained steady, Yunho took the brave leap to take a breath of his own. Ever-so-gently, he reached out and picked up Mingi's hand off of his laptop and rested it beside him, before incredibly carefully closing his laptop lid, and moving it from his lap, to the book stacks beside him.

Trying hard not to move too much, lest he wake him, he used his feet to drag a soft throw blanket from the bottom of the bed up to where he could reach it.

And as he very carefully draped it over his body, he held his breath...

Suddenly, Mingi stirred.

He froze as Mingi moved beside him. He listened to the sound of his lungs sucking in a bigger breath of air than usual, but just as he thought he'd woken him, Mingi pulled his knees up a little and curled into his side.

Yunho couldn't breathe.

Mingi's cheek rested into the nook of his neck, his knees against his thigh and lap, and while the hand entwined with his squeezed gently, the other idly clutched at his shirt fabric over his chest for a moment, before relaxing, and dropping into his lap as well.

Slowly, his breath steadied, and his eyes remained closed...

And Yunho let out a shaky, relieved breath.

Gently tucking the soft blanket over him, Yunho couldn't help but rest his head against his, letting his eyes fall shut for a short while in an act that caused his once before calmed butterflies, to stir once more.

He felt so incredibly happy, sitting there. And with Mingi curled into his side, Yunho felt like nothing in the world mattered.

Opening his eyes, he let his eyes fall once more upon Mingi's body nuzzled up against him - something that made his heart flutter.

Smiling gently, he pulled his gaze back to his laptop and tinkered away one handed on his keyboard, trying to type as quietly as possible.

Somehow, being with Mingi put him at such ease, that, once his butterflies calmed, he became so serene that he could focus on anything. Studying was easy for the first time in his life, and it was almost like it didn't matter what he was doing, so long as he was doing it with Mingi...

This feels right, he thought to himself.

This feels, like it should feel...

Yunho was now well acquainted with the sound of Mingi's breath, so much so, that he was sure that he could recognise it anywhere.

Dark had long fallen around them, and as Yunho had sat quietly tinkering away on his laptop, Mingi had slept soundly, only curling and uncurling against him every so often...
