A/N: STILLLLL DICTATING! I HATE THIS!

Mingi opened his eyes to the warm sunlight drifting in on his bed. Melting under its cosines, he huddled under his blankets, warding out the cold air.

Staring outside at the trees gently swaying in the breeze, he listened to the birds chirping happily just outside his window. It was a beautiful sight, one he could admire for hours and hours...

However although his body felt at peace, his mind betrayed him; images of last night scattering before his eyes.

But unlike yesterday where his vision had been plagued with the images of his wound; this morning, all he could see was their kiss.

The way Yunho had stared at him so intently, whispering his name like that... It had made a shiver run down his spine and into his toes, causing him to jolt. He hadn't noticed at the time what was about to happen, but the moment Yunho suddenly leaned in, freezing before him, it was as though time had slowed.

Mingi's heart started beating frantically in his chest, and his pulse throbbed in his body. He knew, that was the time he should have leant back. He had to stop it before it happened...

But then Yunho was reaching up and letting his fingers rest against his cheek, and suddenly he couldn't move. His whole body began to glitter with butterflies and nerves, dissolving any resolve he had left...

Unable to move, and barely able to breathe, his lips felt like they were almost quivering. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears, and feel it in his bones, and suddenly time stopped still.

The moment Yunho's head tilted and that gentle pink tongue swiped over his lips, Mingi's heart leapt up into his throat, and his butterflies threatened to carry him away.

The instant their lips touched, Mingi felt the world shatter around him. Terrified to move, so much as blink, Mingi froze, staring on as Yunho's eyes fluttered shut, and his thumb brushed over his cheek...

Mingi felt like he had somehow forgotten how to function, but the moment Yunho's bottom lip pressed between his and parted just that little bit to make the pecking sound that sent Mingi's butterflies wild, he panicked.

Knowing full well that the moment he let their lips press together in anything more than a sweet peck, he would be devastated, and any chance of nursing his broken heart would be shattered, he couldn't do it...

Flattening his hands over Yunho's chest, all he had to do was move a millimetre. But that millimetre had been a mile, and it shattered his heart into a million pieces.

He heard the shaky breath escape Yunho's lips, and felt it ghost across his skin, and suddenly, Mingi regretted his decision to end their kiss more than any other he'd made in his life. It felt physically painful to move away from him, and suddenly, he could barely look at Yunho without being at risk of taking away the poor boy's chance at retracting his decision, and crushing their lips together with every ounce of sheer desperation he had been hiding away in his heart...

A bird that landed on the awning of his window drew Mingi from his memories. Glad for the distraction, he gazed upon its colourfully feathered little body, letting his emotionally tired body rest. Unsurprisingly, he hadn't gotten much sleep last night, but somehow, he felt wide awake - just as awake as the little bird, shimmying its tail back and forth and singing happily outside his window.

Ding.

Closing his eyes and sighing, he rolled over, picking his phone up from on the floor next to the power point.

Mingi sighed. Dropping his phone back down, he sat up in his bed, ruffling his hair as he squinted and wiping his eyes.

Time to get up, I guess, he thought. Sighing, he scooted his feet out from under his covers into the cold and hung them off the side of his bed. Another day, he thought, sighing.

Another day indeed.
