*14 years later *

August's P.O.V

I was sleeping with my hands on kays ass and she woke me up

Me:*raspy* whaaatttt

Kayla:*whispering* i think someones in the house

Me:*sucks my teeth* the kids are in the house kay damn go back ta sleep

Kayla: nooo august seriously i hear somethin

I got up and a little pissed off and went down stairs, da whole house was dark nd i could barely see but i was able ta manage, when i got downstairs there was nun there but i did hear somethin, so i walked all da way to da back of da house nd had to make a double take of what da hell i was lookin at, which was my daughter stuck in da pet door

Me: what da hell

She covered her face like she was hiding thinking i didnt see her

Me: lani what da hell are you doing

Kalani: *whispering* dad please just help me

I started laughing and went ova dere ta help her nd her body got stuck, kay came down stairs and already i knew she was gonna get mad

Kayla:*holding a bat* what the fuck..........................what are ya'll doing

Kalani: *starting to cry* i cant get outttt

Kayla:*walking over* why are you in the the dogs door

I stopped and looked at lani thinkin da same exact question.......she looked at kay den back at me ........i rubbed my eyes nd her hair and everything was done, she looked worried not wanting to say anything

Me: where's ya brother

Kalani: please dont get mad please

Kayla: where is a.j

Kalani: uhhhhhh..............................that's not inportant can yall please just get me outta here

We heard aloud thump and a groan and me and kayla left lani dere fo a second ta look, when we walked ova to da back of da house a.j was tryin to get up, Kayla walked over there mad and helped him up

Kayla: what the fuck is wrong with you

A.j: why are you cursing at me

Kayla:...........what were you just doing

A.j: what does it look like

I walked over to him nd grabbed his shirt lookin in his eyes

Me: he's high kay

A.j: no i'm not *pushin my fingers* get off me

I held his shirt draggin his ass to the side of the house nd walkin in....kay went back to lani to help while i got a bag of chips, i walked back ova ta a.j i held da bag nd watch him reach for it

Me: want some

A.j: *noddin*

Me: where were yall

A.j:*lookin back * where is lani

me: dont worry just where were yall

a.j: at a party

me: lemme get dis straight.....................you take yo 14 year old sister to a party where you got cho ass high

A.j: nothing happen to her

Me: get cho ass up stairs right na

A.j:*lookin down* can i still have the chips

i stared at him and he looked at me then went upstairs, kayla came back with kalani and she looked at me scared

Me: we'll talk about it in da monin go ta ya room

Me: NOW

she started walking and kay watched her go upstairs

Kayla:*sighs* ................what are we gonna do

Me: what we've been doin these past years

Kayla:...........it's getting worse, august they're sneaking out to go parties

Me:..............it's what teenagers do kay

She walked away and i stood there thinkin , 14 years and it's been a long ride on dis roller coster, and it's even hit some bumps, cuz there were times i'd leave for a while cuz me and kayla would get into serious arguments ........but we're still married.........i went upstairs and past kalani's room and went inside

Me: gimme dat phone

Kalani: what ...........no why

Me: cuz you wanna go sneak out wif doofy gimme da phone

Kalani:*looking down*

She past it to me and i walked away nd made a u-turn

Me:fill it up

Kalani: nooooo

Me:*my hand out* dont play wif me lani

She went and got her little punish ment bag nd put her electronics in it and gave it to me.........

Kalani:*looking at me*..................... i dont have anything else

Me: your lyin

Kalani:*suks her teeth walking to her bed*

She pulled out another ipod and gave it to me i shook my head and walked out........den i went in a.j's room he was fallin asleep I went in anyway

Me: get up

He stood up and looked at me, his eyes were real red too

Me: gimme ya stuff

A.j: why

Me: dont question me

A.j: *mumble*

He walked around and got his stuff and gave it to me.....

Me: is dat it

A.j: obviously

Me: mane dont make me puch you in ya lip fo bein disrespectful

Me:*walks out*

I went back in da room and put they stuff on da dresser

Kayla: really august

Me: what!!!....................

Kayla: *quiet*

I laid down nd pulled her next to me and she pushed me away, but i pulled her back

Kayla: tommorow morning

Me: i know i know

I laid dere and we went ta sleep............if yall think dis hea is just a lil problem just think again
