Chapter 14 - Finding Out

24th September 2000 11:25 AM, Neville and I were in the waiting area of St Mungos' 'Maternity and Newborn' ward trying to calm down our exitement to find out our baby's gender, I had gotten a test about 5 days ago and today we would get the results.

Just then, I noticed Eddy walk in, holding his 2 week old newborn, Teddy Tonks who was born a metamorphagus, his full name was 'Edward Bishop Tonks', named after uncle Ted...there's gonna be a lot of confusion in the coming years, I just know it.

"Hey Ed." I greeted as I walked to my twin.

"Hey Liz...what're you here for?" He asked.

"We're gonna find out the gender of our baby today!" I told him excitedly.

"I can just feel your excitement." He said with a laugh as I took Teddy in my arms.

"As you should, you are my twin. Anyways, what're you doing here with Teddy?"

"Turns out there are some extra vaccines that metamorphagus babies need to take, so I was just here to get him vaccinated."

"It's just a few minutes to our turn, why don't you stay and be the first to find out?" I suggested.

"I'd be stupid if I passed the opportunity to be the first to know." He laughed.

"Well, you are stupid."

"Do you have to say that in front of my son?" He deadpanned.

"Yes."

"I hate you."

"No you don't, little bro."

"We're twins!"

"I'm the smarter twin."

"Or the big headed twin!"

"Don't listen to your Dad, Teddy. He's very dumb."

"Don't listen to Aunt Lizzy." He said as he looked down at his son whom I was holding.

"Shut up."

"You, shut up."

Just then, I felt Neville's hand on my shoulder, "It's our turn, Love...Hi Bishop." He said with a smile.

"Hey Neville." My twin greeted back.

"Bye Felicia." I said as I handed him his baby before going into Healer Hoff's office with my fiancé.

"Good morning, Healer Hoff." We both greeted her excitedly as we entered her office.

"Good morning...why don't you both have a seat?" She said with a smile as she motioned towards the seats in front of her table.

"So...your test results came in." She said as she took out a test report under our name from her drawer.

"Are we having a girl?" Neville asked impatiently.

"Calm down, love." I chuckled as I rubbed his arm, "Sorry...it's just we're so excited to find out the gender of our baby." I added to the healer.

"Oh, it's alright...it's only normal for you to be excited...Trust me, I've had a father burst a party popper as soon as he entered my office." She told us with a small laugh.

"Well, at least I'm not that bad." Neville said to me as he shrugged.

"No you're not, Mr. Longbottom...anyways, we observed your scans closely and as it turns out...you're not just having one baby." She told us causing our jaws to drop.

"Wh-what?" I said.

"You're having twins, Ms Potter." She said with a smile.

Well, that sounds like double the pain.

But hey, this is like buy one get one free! Maybe it won't be so bad.

"Really?" Neville beamed before the healer nodded with a smile.

"What about they're genders?" I asked excitedly.

"They're both girls." She told us.

"Oh my god! THIS IS GREAT!" He yelled before running out of the office as I watched with a fond smile.

"I'M HAVING TWO LITTLE GIRLS!" I heard him yell outside.

"He seems to be very excited." The healer chuckled.

"Trust me, he is very excited about becoming a father." I told her.

"You are very lucky to have him."

"I know." I smiled at her.
