New Beginnings

Ryan POV

I put my curls into a nice small pony tail, I dangled some curls into the front of my face as I looked at my green body suit in the mirror.

Grabbing my black jacket with my green fluffy sleeves.

I made sure to slip on my sandals before getting my bookbag and the rest of my school supplies. I looked at the time, as I had gotten ready for school earlier today. I was not ready to see Maurice, not after our recent fight.

Leaving my house, I made sure to walk fast past his house, I frowned as his car was gone.

I sighed in relief and slowed my walk down as I left our neighborhood. Placing my airpods in, I made it to school in what seemed like no time at all.

Coming into the parking lot, a few cars drove by me as they entered before me.

Crossing over, I headed for the building as I saw my girls heading inside. I saw the boys watching them walk in, and looked away as Maurice locked eyes on me. My face grew red, as I could feel him looking at me. Following behind the girls, I made it inside and caught up to the girls who were coming out of the bathroom.

Diana: I told you!" she exclaimed as she gave me a hug. I hugged her back as Senia came out.

Senia: she made it, alright here." she said, handing Diana a $5 bill.

Me: you guys betted on me?" I laughed.

China: no Diana and Senia did." she said.

Me: and my bestie got it wrong?" I teased.

Senia: girl hush, I betted that I would have to drag you out the bed." she said, rolling her eyes.

Me: mm, seems like Diana is my new bestie?" I said putting my arm around Diana's neck.

Senia: girl, shut up." she said moving my arm.

Diana: she's jealous." she teased, grabbing my arm again.

Senia: I will hit both of you bitches." she threatened.

We laughed hard as we walked to Senia's locker first. We waited for her to grab her things before walking to my locker. My locker was on the other side of the hallway, so I was happy they came with me.

Senia: so, have you seen Maurice?" she asked as I opened my locker.

Me: Yes, but I came in after you guys." I said.

Senia: and you didn't say anything? Wave, smile..anything?" she said as I sighed.

I placed the rest of my bag into my locker this time, grabbing my phone and History Notebook.

Me: I mean, what can be said? Last time we talked we argued." I shrugged.

Senia: well, I think you should think about what your going to say right now." she said, looking behind me.

Me: why?" I froze.

Senia: because here he comes." she said.

My heart skipped a beat as all the girls smiled and slowly walked away. I turned as I held the door of my locker open.

He stopped infront of me with a sly smirk. His perfectly white teeth showed a little as his chains dangled against his yellow attire.

His earrings glistened as his curls hung over his face. He pants sagged, but I had to admit, it was so attractive. He had on a nice bracelet as his tattoo sleeve made him even more appealing.

Reese: wassup?" he smiled.

Me: hi Reese." I blushed. I closed my locker as he waited for me to start walking.
