Danielle's PoV

I prowl through the dark abandoned village the smell of blood suffocating like a heavy fog, the sweet metallic taste dripping from my fangs. In the distance I could hear groans and dying breathes of families scattered throughout the chaos.

Standing naked on the bank of a river miles away from New Orleans, a reflection of a woman coated in crimson shines brightly  back at me. The unsettling smirk creeping wider under the illuminating moonlight.

I take one step forward the cold water jolting my muscles awake, tingling throughout my body. The pleasure flooding my veins as the water rises above my waist, blood trickling away into the depths.


Closing my eyes I lean my head back submerging my brunette locks beneath the icy water, my fingers massaging away the grim and matted blood

The feeling of freedom envelopes my body, the overwhelming isolation with nature clinging to me desperately.


I blink open my eyes florescent orange gazing back at me.

"Everyone has a dark side," I mutter darkly climbing to a single picnic blanket laying peacefully upon the grass.

Hugging my cold skin I stare up angrily at the moonlight, "An inner anger resentment, that just can't be tamed."

I lick my lips, "Insatiable rogue hunger

The crunching of my ankle causes me to numbly lay flat on the ground. Agonising pain entwining me, snapping my body back into a lone wolf.

"Deep down I will never be free, for the within is only sleeping, not dead."

A/N: This is just a small chapter I wrote to introduce Danielle's character arc.
I'm planning and slowly writing the next season. Creativity hits me at stupid times, also I'm very busy currently with University.
