-.--.-..-.-...-Finals week has officially ended. Chand had been waiting for it ever since the semester started.
"Wohoo!"
Declan shouted before he jumped into the chlorinated water. A big splash was created as the six-foot tall boy took a huge dip.
Music was blasting from the speakers as their group of friends enjoyed the long-awaited break under the blaring rays of the sun.
Worn-out from the very hectic week, the three-day vacation was more than welcomed by the group. Chand had proposed to the group about having a pool party right after the finals week.
The others didn't hesitate to agree. Ellis was the one who offered his place for them to stay. His family have a two-storey modern house with a pool and jacuzzi just on the neighboring area.
It wasn't far and everyone can easily go there so it was the perfect location for them to stay at before they'll all head to each of their respective homes for the summer break.
"Hey, where are the others?" Declan asked Ellis, who was sunbathing together with Chand and Xena by the pool's deck.
"They're inside. Phoebe and Kali are still on their way," Ellis answered.
The others didn't noticed how Chand's mood took a turn. He tried not to show any signs of it. After his talk with Ellis, Chand tried to tame his mouth from speaking ill of his ex.
Still, he couldn't brush away the thought on how he'd be able to enjoy his mini-vacation when his ex is also coming.
Xena lowered her sunglasses and looked at the boy beside her, "You invited her? Why?"
"Correction, Avery invited her. It wasn't me. And because... why the hell not? The more the merrier, right?" Ellis grinned.
He's the type who wants each and every one of them to come whenever there's a planned vacation or something of sort.
Remembering the argument that happened during lunch in the past, Xena became confused as to the sudden change of the youngest. "I thought Avery hates her? Why the hell did she invite her?" she couldn't help but ask.
Ellis only shrugged.
Persuading the eldest among the girls wasn't easy for Avery. Kali really didn't want to come because she said that she had some things to do; things that others don't know about except for Phoebe.
Plus, Avery acted so cutely when she did asked for her to come. How could she say no to her large puppy eyes with a matching pout? No one's immune to the youngest' cuteness as far as Kali knows.
So she finally agreed to it and had to contact her manager at the last minute that she won't be able to come. Good thing that they let her off easily since it was her first time.
"We're here!" Phoebe announced as she entered the mansion with Kali in tow.
