-.--.-..-.-...-

"Okay seriously, Zax. What's going on?" Kali's hold on her brother's arm tightened as she took slow steps, uncertainty was visible in her actions for a cloth was covering her eyes.

"Careful," she heard Zaxton say to her but even with a warning, she felt herself stumbling  a little on her toes. Walking without any sight and on an uneven ground is seriously harder than it looks, even with a guide beside her.

As soon as the two arrived home a few minutes ago, Zaxton had blindfolded Kali before she could even step out from his car. Kali's suspicions were right that something must be going on, but she had no clue on what it was about.

They walked and walked until she could feel the ground becoming softer. She knew her legs had brought her to the sand and out from that hard wooden planks.

Then the cloth covering her eyes loosened, signaling that it was alright for her to remove it and so she did.

Kali blinked a few times as her eyes tried to adjust from its surroundings. Her brother had brought her to the beach, the vast private area in front of his villa.

She then noticed the lined candle lanterns in front of her, forming a passageway. It was a scenic sight. And with the sun setting through the horizon making the sky a palette of different colors in the background, it became even more breathtaking.

Kali was lost for words. More so when she saw her friends at the end of the short passageway, standing in front of a very wide picnic blanket with a vast array of foods spread out.

They looked as if they've been solely waiting just for her. In fact, they were. But Kali didn't seem to believe that thought.

"Hi," Chand stepped forward, greeting her with a charming smile on his face. He stretched out his arms, handing Kali the bouquet of flowers he's been holding.

Kali hesitantly accepts it, a confused look plastered on her face. "What's this all about?" She couldn't help but ask, her voice still sounding unsure as her eyes looked around the place.

Xena, who's standing behind Chand, was unable to contain her emotions and quickly went over to give Kali a tight hug. Her actions caused the others to tear up and rush forward, joining the two.

Even the smiling Chand joined in while Zaxton only looked fondly at the group, feeling beyond glad that his sister is finally back together with her friends.

"We're sorry," Chantal spoke as tears continue to run on both her cheeks.

"We should've waited for you to tell us everything," Declan said while breaking away from the group hug, a look of regret washing over his features.

Everything?, Kali thought. She felt her heart skipping a beat at what her friends were talking about.

"For the way we acted towards you after your breakup... we're sorry," Pierre apologized. The others did as well.

"We know what we did was stupid. Really, there's no excuse for it," Xena frowned as she remembered her past actions.

Looking at her friends that had gathered in front of her, tears started to form in Kali's eyes. It was the first and only time they saw her show that type of emotion, except for Chand.

"I missed you guys," Kali could feel her lips trembling as she tried hard not to shed any tears. Although her words seemed to have caused an effect on the others pushing them to tear up even more.

Because they knew what those words implied. Kali had already forgiven them.
