-.--.-..-.-...-

"Avery, you can't be serious," Kali looked nervous as she saw what the youngest was holding in front of her.

"Does it look like I'm joking?" Avery had a smile plastered on her face. It was the kind where one should never say 'no' to unless they'd want to suffer from her wrath.

The two girls and Phoebe were inside in one of Ellis' guest rooms. They were changing into their bathing suits. And after knowing that Kali didn't brought one, Avery offered some of her newly bought swimsuits and bikinis.

Yes, those stretchy little pieces of polyester fabric that costs way too much.

She had already refused numerous times but her friends took her answer as a 'yes'.

"C'mon, Kali. You'll look great with that," Phoebe spoke as she tied her hair in a bun while sitting in front of the dresser.

"Yeah. Besides, it's just us. You don't need to be shy," Avery remarked. She knew that the eldest was one of the prettiest in their school, but she has always been humble about her looks. She never once bragged about it.

Phoebe and Avery didn't wait for her reply as the two just urged her to go inside the attached bathroom.

Kali sighed while looking at herself through the wide mirror inside. Her hand was holding the white swimsuit and on the other was her bag, full of extra clothes.

She knew that they wouldn't let her go outside if they don't see her wearing it.

After a few minutes, Kali walked out of the bathroom wearing a high-waist denim shorts over the white swimsuit.

She had on a tight-lipped smile, "Even with shorts on, I still feel bare."

Avery let out a low whistle as she saw the eldest, "You know, if I wasn't straight, I'd totally dig you right now."

They were very used to seeing Kali in just casual clothes that are not too revealing. So, seeing her bare back and very much exposed limbs were a breath of fresh air.

"You're just not used to it. But it suits you well, I promise," Phoebe said, giving her an encouraging smile.

Kali can't help but smile at how supportive these two are.

"Thanks."
