-.--.-..-.-...-"Do you guys already have a place to stay?" Zaxton asked Ellis. The two of them, along with Vin, were idling out on the soft dry sand under the shade from a mangrove tree just along the shoreline.
The others were goofing around with each other in the water, splashing saltwater here and there.
Kali and Avery didn't joined them. The two were sitting on the sand a good distance from all the noise. Avery wanted to have a talk with her and it seemed they were engaging in a serious conversation.
"Not yet, actually," Vin shook his head, answering Zaxton's question.
"We arrived in town just this morning and decided to grab a late breakfast before scouting hotels for any available rooms. This trip is that spontaneous," Ellis added.
Zaxton slowly nodded his head. "How about you guys stay with me? My place is a bit bigger so it can definitely hold a few more guests. If some of you don't mind sharing rooms that is," he offered.
Since they were his sister's friends, he had thought that it wouldn't be too bad for her to spend more time with them, especially since he knew that her time's running.
Ellis and Vin looked at each other, sharing the same thought. "Is that really okay with you?" Vin asked, his voice timid, feeling hesitant at the elder's offer since they weren't that close yet for them to impose.
Zaxton smiled at the two, "Of course, since you guys are Kali's friends, I wouldn't mind at all. Also, the hotels around this area are most likely full and booked. This place do get pretty crowded during summer." He remembered how his dad bought the place he's currently staying at because they had a hard time looking for a place to stay in town before.
The eyes of the two younger boys shined as they heard Zaxton's words. They felt delighted that they didn't have to hop from one place to another in search for any available hotel rooms. Vin especially was so tired from the long drive that he just wanted to immediately rest.
Moreover, the place is free. Not that they're short on any money but it also doesn't hurt their pockets so why the hell not.
